Mariel seems to be more of a "you first" type. To initiate conversation, you talk first, to get her to move, you walk first. It could be called poliet, if she didn't stare at you expectantly, waiting for you to proceed in some sort of manner. The only person she doesn't follow is Airaka, for if that were to happen, she would not move for hours on end.
Naturally quiet and naturally curious. Even without asking questions one can find out a lot. And get into a lot of trouble. Mariel barely says anything. If she does that means you've done something to interest her, enough to bring words from her mouth at least. If the girl has gotten herself into a mess, she'll just sit there and wait patiently for someone to fix it.
A little bit ditzy, a little bit not. Or is it just the young age. If Mariel is distracted from a task, for a long enough period of time, she could forget everything about the task. Usually she has a long attention span, surprising for someone her age, but her curiosity can pull her away from anything.

First stage the child is made, and given to a carefully selected gaian.
The toddler is highly dependant on it's new parent, wether ofr jsut food or sometimes transportation. Some may be going through delicate processes of metamorphoses, a tadpole to a frog, a catterpillar to a butterfly.. Or, they're just a young child in need of love and care. Along with learning their basics of knowlage, such as the abcs, 123s, and social behaviors... No matter what it is, it's your job to raise them right.
