There's an upcoming movie in germany that takes hitler and makes him look comedic, not producers either, they're acting like hitler was a goof and such.
Director claims he's not making fun of the holocaust, or it's victims.
But it is offensive saying that hitler was so goofy, when he killed millions.
Your opinion?

Also, I don't see it as them mocking hitler, as much as making him seem goofy, and the sheer idea of a man that laughs at farting in the bathtub, cheeses me off.

Supermetheus Don't speak yiddish either. XD I'm a bad jew. D: For the record, speaking Yiddish isn't something the majority of the world's Jews do. Not all of us are northern and western Europeans. In fact, the majority of the world's Jews are not. Yiddish is spoken by Jews with Ashkenazi backgrounds. S'fardi, Mizrachi, and Teimani Jews aren't from the areas in which Yiddish came to be. You're more likely to find the Jews of Spain, Portugal, Central and South America, Italy, and other Mediterranean and Arab-heavy lands speaking Ladino, which is made up of Hebrew, Arabic, and Spanish primarily. Not all Jews eat matzah ball soup, kreplach, and borshch, either. Some of us eat tabbouleh, shawarma, and biryani.

My great grandma and my grandpa speak yiddish. My great grandma is from Germany.
But anyway, back to the topic.
To me, I think that as long as it isn't a film that states "Hitler is #1" or that "Hitler should still be alive and ruling", I don't mind seeing Hitler be shown as an idiotic and goofy dumbass. It is what he truly was. (Plus he was insane in every single way possible.)

I mean i don't think it's the most wise thing a person can do, but it's bold and if done the right way can be great. I don't know what to say, I can see how the movie can be done wrong and done right. I'm just hoping he does it the right way. You know he did speed, and then the kennedies did speed too 3nodding pissed off my american history teacher when I told her that. :evil laugh: >.> I want challah ::dies a dramatic challahless death::

YvetteEmilieDupont I want to learn yiddish, but I have no idea where you'd go to learn it. ninja I'll stick with Hebrew. Yiddish might be fun though!
