~Story~

After returning victorious from the Beyblade World Championships,Kai Hiwatari enrolled into St Giles Collage, a mixed school for both boarders and day students. Enrolling along with him were Rin (no last name in the manner of Madonna), May Yin, Arani Amazila and Kai's old Team mate Max Tate. Returning for the year was Alexis Belmont.

Now with the promise of a beyblade tournament to kick off the new year - plus the promise of settling a few old rivalries it looks set to be an interesting year.

However, schools must have classes. And to classes everyone must go. The first class of the year is PE and a hockey game that means a more to some than merely a time waster has been struck up. (Bad sentence alert)

Have FUN with it.

Description: 5'2, pale skinned w/ freckles, waist long, curly, brown hair w/ golden highlights (in summer) and reddish highlights (in winter) always worn in a low ponytail, soft brown eyes that turn green when crying, always in comfortable clothes( She hates dresses, skirts, and anything that shows too much skin...)
Bitbeast: Krazyuin (kruh-zee-oo-in) & Krazyuang (kruh-zee-oo-aang) These are twin wolves...one is white and one is black...you could probably guess which is which...only one can appear at a time though( depends on the situation, aka: attack or defence) and each has its own element...unless the character's moods change swiftly...then the element can switch as well.
Background: Oldest of 4 kids, and wants to major in languages...beyblading gives her an excuse to travel and learn, but she has become very fond of her blade and bitbeast as well as very skilled. The 2 most noticeable traits are her intense curiosity ans extreme sympathy...she is very caring(a little too much) and will go over the edge for her friends...very moody though she can hide them somewhat well... she just wants someone to listen to what she has to say and not make fun of her or hurt her in the process...she is too trusting and often gets hurt because of it, but she still hopes for new friends...

Character Name: May Yin
Character description: May is quite short for her age – something she is constantly reminded of, much to her dismay – and has an average body build, meaning she is neither fat nor skinny. Her skin is of an average tone, but is sometimes whiter than usual, but still a ‘faithful’ tone to her ethnicity. She has brown hair that falls down a bit above her waist and a long, irregular fringe, with both very long, and very short strands. Her eyes are a honey-brown with the slightest bit of golden.
Her teeth are just like anyone else’s and her canines are sort of sharp.
Her physical appearance is completed with something that can’t actually be explained, something that is there, but at the same time isn’t and reminds most people of felines.

As for May’s taste in clothing, it’s a bit too picky, in a way, but still with a varied taste. Usually she doesn’t wear bright colours because they “deteriorate her eyesight”, but that doesn’t mean she hates all colours – she simply prefers tones that aren’t as vibrant. Of course, though, she might consider wearing a more bright tone, if it looks well with the rest of outfit or the situation and still makes her comfortable.

Usually, she wears a plain black skirt, nothing too fancy with a belt and a chain to her left side, along with a purple tank top and a black coat with a white hood. Her boots are black with a few belts/buckles and she has been seen wearing fishnet stockings with this attire, at some point or another. As for hands, she uses black or purple fingerless gloves, along with a choker on one of those two colours – although the black one seems to be her favourite. Her bebyblade is kept on a leather pouch attached to her belt.
Another of her common outfits is a very short, sort of black top underneath a funny-looking olive/olive drab top, as well as shorts in that same colour – with this she either uses jet-black converse shoes or a pair of simple olive/olive drab shoes with black soles.

Of course, this doesn’t mean she won’t wear anything else, like jeans, sweaters, etc; it’s just what she usually wears the most when she doesn’t have enough free time to “have fun”. Usually when she does, she’ll wear from the darkest to the lightest (not brightest!) tones and from the most elegant to craziest styles. Some people have gone far enough to dubbing her a “fashion ----e”.

May’s earring “collection” consists of three earrings on the lower half of her right ear, two on the upper and one on the cartilage, and two on the lower half of her left. She often changes them and enjoys adding unusual things like thin chains from one to another or to her choker.

A lot more is on her mind to make one day, such as wear various styles of street fashion (well, more than the few she already has tried at some point in her life), tattoos and piercings. Of course, this is all part of her plans for the future, not actually something she would do as a teenager; even she would find it too awkward to walk around all pierced.

Picture of character (If applicable): [x]

Background:
May often states her life is just as boring – or more – than watching paint dry. That’s a lie, of course, because she simply dislikes talking about her life, where she came from and where she grew up.
She was supposed to be the sort of baby a couple was planning to have, but instead she was the result of a drunken couple. You could say that little may was already being “blacklisted”. Had it not been her grandparents, she wouldn’t have even been born.

May was born on the 13th of May – hence her name, ‘May’ – in Hong Kong, China. Her father is Japanese and her Mother is Chinese; she never actually understood what these work on, but it’s probably not really significant to the rest of Humanity, as they’re not even known by any population in general.
A lot of people had thought that her parents had changed their minds about having a child when she was born, because they seemed to show her what love was. They didn’t, though. It was just them thinking that “it would all be over soon”.
Months after she was born, her father let her on the bed and she fell down and got hurt. Of course they didn’t mind much about it, at least in the sense of worrying if anything would be wrong with her in the future – obviously they weren’t careless enough to just leave her there.
As she grew up, that fall didn’t actually affect her much; it was just that one time and couldn’t make up for all the times they’d slap her, hit her, or watch her fall and get hurt and not help. Heck, there were times she’d see them laugh. Those weren’t parents; those were the monsters kids should actually fear.
May didn’t seem much like a victim of abuse, because she didn’t walk around with bruises… Then again, she didn’t walk around all that much, anyway. She usually stayed home, since the house was large and had a nice garden and she could hide in the attic or basement just drawing or playing with dolls sometimes. Yes, it was amusing when she was five years old and even a couple of years before.

Over time, her parents seemed to have forgotten why they didn’t like her; they just did. They would even forbid her from being with her grandparents at times. They weren’t there when she got good marks at school, or did something great; sometimes they weren’t there at all. All they did was progressively affecting her mind, the way it worked, twisting it, deteriorating it. Sometimes, when she was older, she wouldn’t even cry when she got hurt; she’d laugh.

On her 11th birthday, May’s parent’s finally thought they’d had enough of the girl and left her to her maternal grandparents’ custody. Apparently, work was much better now and they could get away and travel around the world in business. No home, no little May to worry about, no nothing.

May couldn’t have been happier if they’d suddenly just drop dead; they were gone, that’s what mattered the most. However, things weren’t that simple; her grandparents and her were moving to Japan in a couple of months, something to do with them living there some decades ago and helping out here and there instead of just being retired. Her grandfather was mostly going to hang out an old friend’s dojo, where daily classes were held for a lot of people, whilst her grandmother was coming with her husband and practicing Ikebana.

In truth, May didn’t care much. She came to school as the weird girl who always wrote letters to her best friend that she’d met last summer in Romania and would draw or write, or just hang out with older people or admire how they put so much originality in the different street fashions.
She lived in Tokyo, but soon moved somewhere close to Tyson’s neighborhood and had seen him more than once – though no actual dialog or acknowledgment had ever been present -. They probably knew her as the “flower girl” at first, like many other people, or something. As she got older, a lot of people wondered why she would run to the bus stop every morning if one could walk to school; that’s because her school was another one and she didn’t want to be later. Ever. It helped her along with good marks.

As for beyblading, it was only a major presence later in her life, with her grandparents’ support. If it weren’t for them, she would still be a weak young woman with absolutely no idea of how to make a beyblade spin for even three seconds.

So now everything seems to be in place… Well, aside from the fact that her parents decided that sending her letters is good to annoy her and now seem to be planning on visiting her, maybe even regain custody of the young lady. Hopefully, though, they’ll change their minds, at least when they see her once more.
Her mentality is also something out of place, but that’s a totally different thing. She’s not actually ‘sane’.
May is a smart girl, who often acts as happy, smiling even the tiniest of smiles whenever she gets the chance. She seems cheerful and can sometimes be a bit clumsy – but hey, who isn’t? She’s a loving girl, especially when it comes to felines, and she stands up for her friends, no matter what.
But of course, she also has her flaws, the biggest one being her short temper. Okay, so she has more patience for friends, she understands them and knows them better; but for others, it’s bad to get on her bad side – if they do, then watch out for hurricane May.
She also tends to be rude to certain people she dislikes, even if it’s for the smallest, most insignificant reasons. She can act as cynical then, sarcastic/ironic, taunting them to no end.

And deep inside, May hides her dark side. Sadness and sorrow don’t go away quickly, not after life like hers; her terrible memories, those are hidden deep inside and she doesn’t want to reveal them. She doesn’t want to mention much about her life with “monsters” who told her they were “mom” and “dad” and she is often angry, or sad, because of the letters she doesn’t reply to [mostly filled with critiques and offenses] and the mockery about visiting her one day, maybe get her back.
[There’s probably a bit more to her personality, less significant ways of acting and what not… ^^; I can’t quite remember at the moment.]

May loves drawing, writing, reading large books and loves several kinds of music, as well and anime and manga, too. She plans to take a literature course so she can one day find a good job as a translator or interpreter, as well as some extra arts classes, maybe a less tiring course.
She also plans to have some part in promoting several street fashions and probably find her most loved job as a tattoo artist; yes, because in spite of her plans to one day have a good life, she wants to have her fun first.

During battles, May tries to be more serious than in any normal situation, but eventually loses her temper [in this case, if it’s a serious one, then even with friends]. She’s unpredictable, most of the time, as most of her fight is, indeed verbal – taunting, weakening an opponent’s mind. She realises in a way it may be her parent’s influence, but she always tries to clear it out in her mind, and remind herself she has her own way to fight and her own strategies, and her grandparents wouldn’t accept something like that [even if just in the game] if it wasn’t her own choice.
Her bit-beast, a black panther named Orpheus, holds a darker ability and contrasts greatly with the one belonging to May’s best friend.

So basically, May is your unpopular, smart and weird, rude girl with a thing for piercings of any kind and tattoos, music and arts, which is crazier than others imagine.

Character Name: Arani Amazila
Character Description:
Height: 5’0
Weight: 98 lbs
Hair: Violet, in buns
Age: 18, but appears younger
Nationality: Chinese-American
Picture of character: Picture
Background:
Arani is a daddy’s girl to the core. She deeply idolizes her father’s memory and makes it a point to pay her respects to his memorial picture every day as she awakens. She even carries his picture on her binder. Her father fell to a Policeman’s gun during the Tiananmen massacre, just days before the family immigrated to America. This left Arani, her sister, and her mother alone. Arani still nurses a hatred of the Chinese communists that allowed that to happen. She doesn’t blame all Chinese in general, but even so, she is often cold to other chinese because she finds it difficult to understand how the people could have let the communists into power in the first place.

Arani’s mother, Anika, is a quiet woman who never found the drive to become anything more than a homemaker. She was content to stay at home and manage a small vegetable shop while her husband pursued his dreams of becoming a student in America. Nevertheless, she is wise and gives good advice. It was because of her careful guidance that Arani does not hate the entire Chinese population. Though she often worries for her daughter, she has little control of her anymore, as she is a champion, a world-traveler and nearly an adult herself. It caused some strife when Anika got re-married to a Japanese-American man named Kyoshi Asakura. Although Arani was at first vehemently opposed, she agreed to ignore Kyoshi if she didn’t have to change her last name.

This brought Arani a younger half-sister that she adores. After every trip away from home, she brings home souvenirs for the young child, even though it has sometimes caused her trouble. The sister, Violi, is seven years old and will not start competing in tournaments for another year yet, but she has already obtained her partner spirit: a large desert owl named Nelee.

Arani also has a spirit: the desert falcon her father left her named Sasuna; but she is constantly hounded by her sister’s talent. Violi found a spirit years before Arani had discovered Sasuna existed in Arani’s favorite necklace.

When Arani is not depressed from thinking of her father, she loves to talk; and has a tendency to do so a lot, much to her teammates chagrin. She can go on about the smallest detail for hours and often repeats herself when she loses her train of thought. She also has a predisposition to talk over others, correct them, and make sure she has the last word in anything. She works very hard to keep her tongue in cheek when blading, but sometimes bad habits get the better of her.

Despite this personality flaw, she is a confident, charismatic leader and is good at inspiring her team to work their hardest. Whoever she is partnered with, she tries to put up with any flaws they may have as well, but she can’t STAND people who whine about the facts of life.

Kai sighed as he set down his suitcase on his new bed. Deftly, he opened the locks and flipped open the case to reveal his new uniforms, folded neatly.

Kai ignored them and reached for the object nestled on top of the clothes. He Dranzer up gently, feeling the familiar bit of her attack ring on his palm.

The world championships seemed like they'd happened a lifetime ago. A lifetime before he'd had the argument with his grandfather that had resulted in him being sent here.

Still, Kai supposed as he carefully unpacked his case and hung his new uniform, it was better to be here than at home listening to his grandfather skiting about how he'd gotten off scot-free with the investigation into Balcov Abbey.

Kai finshed hanging his uniforms and stood back, looking dismally at the line of identical red jackets that looked at him from inside his cupboard.

Still, the jump back into reality wasn't a pleasant one.

May mumbled an inaudible curse only seconds after saying goodbye to her grandparents and leaving the house, closing the door behind her. Pure and utter torture, that’s what this was. What had she done? Was it for being smart? Or weird? Or because she wasn’t as good looking as every other girl at school? Well, those were her thoughts; it’s not like they were actually true.
What had she done to be sent to a new school? What?

That question kept ringing in the back of her mind, no matter how much she tried to push the thought away. But of course, it was impossible. At least when she was heading to the school building and wearing this… this thing, other than anything she would ever call normal.

The female sighed, having a tight grip on her school bag from which a little, odd doll was hung, moving around as May moved. Other than anything even remotely related to school, May’s personal items, Beyblade and some objects she often carried with her were there and she didn’t want anyone stealing them. Well, considering a whole lot could happen in a subway.

She soon found a seat and held the bag tight, concentrated on thoughts of how her reaction would be, and how she would really feel upon arriving to this school. What she thought would seem like hours, were only like seconds, as deep in thought, she almost forgot to pay attention when she finally arrived at the desired station. She quickly got up and left, brushing some imaginary dust of her clothes. She might as well look good.

When she left, she could see some little kids playing with their Beyblades, talking as they did so. It brought back the memory of the world championships; she didn’t mind losing all that much. It was fun to see, help and support others, as well as spend time with her best friend, and even some acquaintances. It was like it was already part of history, even if it hadn’t occurred that long ago.

Now there was a nice thing to think about. May let out a happy sort of sigh as she walked, smiling ever so slightly. She was so much closer to the school, and didn’t even notice. That is, until she almost bumped with an electricity pole and noticed she was there.

“Maybe… maybe it won’t be that bad…” She reassured herself, allowing a frown to form, as she slowly crept in, almost afraid of being eaten alive by an imaginary duck. It wasn’t exactly empty, but wasn’t as crowded as some streets. She decided to sit somewhere – it was kind of a random choice, really. As she still had quite some time, she opened the smaller pocket on her school bag, taking out her beyblade, gently tapping on the small Bit-beast, almost as if caressing it. Awe, Orpheus; how she missed a good battle, or a conversation about that.

{---}

Max sighed, as he came closer to the building that would be his new school, holding a brown school bag in his left hand, which along with his right one was folded on the back of his neck.
The cute blond boy couldn't help but have complained the first moment he found out about this college. How truly troublesome, even for the little teddy bear. He hoped none of his friends had suffered the same destiny as him, but then again; he hadn’t seen them ever since sometime around the end of the championships. He had been in America, along with his parents and the All Stars, just enjoying some time together. So he hadn’t gotten the chance to speak too much, especially of school, with was something he didn’t really like talking about.
Sugar. Now that; that was a much better topic to speak of. He liked the sweet taste of sugar, and it was funny, as they could make so many conversations off it.
But enough rants on dear Maxie’s mind; he was close to the college and after a sort of inward debate, he ended up deciding it was better to enjoy it. Maybe it would be a lifetime chance, and he was sure to make more friends, even if his best friends for life weren’t there. Which he was still wondering about. Why hadn't he seen them yet?
So he managed to smile, and soon one of his adorable and somewhat dreamy looks lit his adorable features, and his pace quickened significantly until he stood before the entrance, and didn’t stop until he was safely inside the school grounds. There; it wasn’t that bad. And he seemed to find so many faces familiar; it was like déjà vu.

Slowly and silently, Rin walks around the college campus looking for the administrations office to sign in. She is an exchange student wanting a major in languages but is also a out-of-sight blader. No one really knows how good she is...she would have been in a few championships but after her first...a particular circumstance kept her from ever entering in one again...now she just wants to make her parents proud. ((We need a Rei.))

Arani stared down at herself, dressed in the red skirt and sailor blouse that made up the girls uniform. She really hated skirts. She'd probably end up repeating that a hundred times this year, but that's the way it went. If she wanted to go to a school with a half-decent science lab that wasn't in the middle of nowhere or costed a bazillion dollars, she had to wear the uniform.

She'd finished unpacking her stuff and touring the campus, and she had nothing to do between now and the start of classes tommorrow.

'Maybe I should just write.' she thought. 'Or at least find a new writing place. The fountain in the courtyard might work.' She remembered the flower-filled area just between the dorms. 'I'll give it a try.'

She grabbed her writing binder, a two-inch purple binder with sketches of her bit beast Sasuna on it's front, and walked out of her room. She left the dorm and sat on the edge of the fountain, trying to get used to writing in a new place. She finnally got into an alpha state and began scribbling frantically into the notebook.

(((An alpha state is what scientists call the state where writers can't see or hear anything around them, and just write. It's like an advanced state of inspiration, and occurs when in a calm atmosphere after about 15-20 minutes of attempted writing. However, if you get knocked out of an alpha state, usually because you're intrerrupted by someone, it's hard to get back in it right away. A lot of writers are really mean when knocked out of this state. Especially me. *kills sisters for doing it for the umpteenth time today*))))

wandering down the hall looking for room 77a, Rin specifically asked for a room by herself, she doesn't like to share rooms with people mainly due to past exreiences...she finds and enters her new room. after making it roomy, Rin examines her uniform, se hates it...stupid skirts...it shows too much leg..." I can't believe this! I thought schools promoted modesty! They don't even make these down to your knees anymore!"
Shoves clothes in closet and hits the sack...

((I'm adding a new OC for me.))

Kai looked down at the uniform that hung on his frame, as new clothes tend to. He shook his head as he looked over at the still-empty bed waiting for his soon-to-be room mate.

He wasn't at all apprehensive about having a room mate. Kai knew taht his grandfather had specifically requested that he get one but, in a way, it would be a relief. It had been hard sleeping in his own room at home without the sounds of the rest of his team sleeping around him.

He rolled his eyes as he opened the door of his room and looked outside at the other boys who were all getting comfortable in their new homes for a year. It's always the little things you miss he thought before stepping out of his room and closing the door firmly behind him.

Kai weaved through the crowds as he made his way out of the building. He didn't know when classes were due to start. When he had enrolled they had told him that he would have the morning to unpack and settle into his room.

As he stepped out of the building, Kai pulled a small map of the school out of his back pocket and frowned as he tried to find the office on it. They would know.

As of now - which was possibly a mere five minutes later -, Max had decided that this school wouldn't be that bad. Maybe the idea itself had been due to uniforms; they often gave him a bad idea, about how the school would be simply made of hard-working students who didn't value fun.
But that was just it; an idea. And it had been debunked.

So dear Max decided that while he wasn't sure when classes would start, he could still explore the school and find someone he may want to talk to. Just to ask a few questions about the place, if he or she had any idea of how it would be for the next year.

But there were so many people, and so many of the were already talking. Max thought best than to interrupt an on-going conversation. So he ended up standing once more, this time looking around him as he spotted young artists - so to say -. His attention was briefly drawn to a female sitting to the edge of the nearby fountain.
Wow, she seems really concentrated.
Those were the blond's thoughts. He was going to say hello to her, present himself, when a sigh of exhasperation drew his attention away, to a brunette.

Okay, then Max was torn between saying hi to one and asking the other what was wrong. That is, until a familiar figure of blue-ish hair seemed to stand out if only for a moment.
He blinked and, upon noticing he was probably wrong, he shook his head and turned to the potential writer - in his eyes - once more. He slowly made his way toward the fountain, keeping a distance just in case. He remembered having walked up to Emily when she was busy one day and it hadn't been very... Healthy. He stood a mere three feet away, just to make sure she noticed her was there and wouldn't tell him to just go away.
Hey, not evryone liked the cute blond teddy bear.

{---}

Indeed, that sigh was May's doing. She had decided on sitting on a rather small bench, with all the grace of who wore a skirt - well, maybe not all the grace, but she sure seemed polite.

Her backpack stood open just next to her, revealing simple contents resumed to small notebooks and some textbooks, and black pencil-case. That, and the binder she used to carry around her silly sketches and extra sheets - and sometimes mechanical pencils or pens she didn't want to take on the pencil case. All in all, it seemed pretty organized for someone like May really was.
The smaller pocket in the backpack was closed, but inside were simply her wallet, house keys and this or that thing she could eventually need. That, and the leather container of all Beyblade spare parts and simple tools she would most likely use.

But her concentration was gathered on Orpheus. She had just noticed a broken part and that was no good - oh no it wasn't. As such, the female tried to fix it, but it sort of seemed , like she would just give up anytime soon and smash the Beyblade against the wall, or the trees, or the ground below - not that she ever would.

Arani glanced up, looked at the blond a moment, and then reached into her bag. "Don't move." she said quietly, pulling out her sketchpad. Though she'd been intterupted in her writing, she didn't mind TOO much, since the boy in front of her probably didn't realize what a cute picture he was right then, with the trees and gardens in the courtyard behind him.

She quickly sketched the general design of the boy and the area and resolved to fill the rest in later. She quickly sketched in the confused look on the blondes face and smiled. "Sorry, I couldn't help it." she said, slipping the pad back into the bag; which was probably the only thing the girl kept organized. "Have we met? You look vaugely familiar....."

(((Sorry that took so long to finish, I couldn't get on AOL. >_< Eww, dial-up...)))

((O.o Dial-up still exists? *pats* My sympathies))

Kai found the office building on the map and looked up, trying to relate the map to his surroundings. He frowned as he noticed the fountain and a familiar blonde figure standing in front of it.

Kai shook his head before he continued walking towards the office. Max wasn't the only blonde boy in the world. It was probably just a fanboy who had a haircut similar to the American's.

Kai stuffed the map into his pocket as he saw the front of the office. He frowned as a bright orange sign on the door caught his attention.

'Form class begins at 12PM. Don't be late!'

Kai smirked. That's one way to do it he thought, as he turned, trying to think of some way to waste the time he had left.

Alex grinned as he walked through the school gates. He turned to the man behind him and held out his hand for the large bag he was holding. "Thanks for carrying it this far, Jean. I'm not sure why père insisted that you come with me."

"Worried for his son?" The older man said with a wry grin as he handed over the suitcase that was getting heavier by the minute.

Alex took the suitcase and made a face as he realised how heavy it was. "Thanks." He said as he hefted the suitcase to sit comfortably in his hands. "Tell père I really don't mind that he couldn't see me off? I know how important that meeting was." He began to walk in the school grounds, carrying the bag with both hands.

Alex let go of the bag with one hand and raised it to wave to his families long-time servant. "Salut." He called before quickly grabbing on to the bag again to prevent himself from overbalancing.

((It does. *cries* And, um, Panda? Isn't 'Salut' a casual greeting, like 'Hi'?
The margins thing below is waht I always do.)))

She quickly exchanged her sketchpad for her notebook again. The story had been giving her trouble, so she had been scribling notes in the margins of the pages, to remind her of what she was doing later. In fact, on some pages there were so many notes one other than Arani would've been hard-pressed to find the story.

Rin wakes up from her hour long nap and decides to explore the surrounding grounds. While walking down the halls she spots a sign advertizing a "Beginning of School Beybattle" the sign read:

Welcome New students and those who are returning! We are initiating a Opening school battle! If your interested in participating sign the list below. We're gald your here and hope to see you in the future. Good luck to all!

Rin reads this over a couple of times and decides to enter..."Well atleast they don't know me here...I might find a challenging opponent this time..." She sits on the bench across the way and reads a book, she wants to see if anyone else will join in to...she wants to to know" her competiton...

((*Laughs*, I have NO idea. I don't even speak a little bit of french. But the english to French dictionary told me that it was also a casual way to say good-bye. I though it might be interesting to give my character a little smattering of French in his language though))

Kai sighed and tucked his hands into his pockets, withdrawing them quickly, feeling the uncomfortable scratchy material of his new uniform. Kai frowned and longed for his comfortable cargo pants. He didn't think he'd get to wear them for a while.

The bluenette shook his head, clearing those thoughts, he had all year to get depressed. It wouldn't do him any good to start early.

Kai looked at a noticeboard placed prominently on the wall beside the entrance to what he assumed was the girls dormitory.

A beyblade competition? He thought as he read the notice. He smirked as he considered actually entering it before shaking his head. There was no entertainment value in entering a competition he knew he would win.

~

Alex struggled towards the building his room was in, trying to remember why he'd taken his overly-heavy suitcase from Jean in the first place.

He's old. You're probably stronger than he is anyway His better self reminded him as he reached the stair leading up to the entry of the dormitory. He rested the bag on the concrete slab gratefully and leant against the wall for a second. He sighed and pushed himself off the wall, turning around to find the noticeboard he knew hung near the doorway.

He found it and quickly scanned it, looking for the list of room assignments. He flicked through the list until he found his own name and that of his room mate.

K. Hiwatari? Must be new He thought as he hefted his bag and began the long arduous journey up to his dorm.

Rin watched as a blue-grey haired boy walked up to the notice and read it...she also saw the look on his face, the smirk, was he too good for it? Well she thought...maybe I might have some competition after all...Rin gets up and out of her immense curiosity she follows him...staying far enough behind to keep from being noticed...she wanted to know who he was and if he was a good blader.

|[| Awe sorry I haven't posted in a while. =_=" I've been busy with school lately.|]|

Max looked a bit... off, for a second there. He had stayed still when she asked, obviously surprised, but as she sketched he started figuring out the sudden chain of events and lost himself in thought.

For that, it took him a whole two minutes to process the female's words, but as he did so, the confused look quickly vanished, replaced by one of the blond's adorable smiles.

"Oh, sorry... I guess I sort of drfted off for a moment there." He scanned her up and down and came to the same conclusion. "Hmm, you look somewhat familiar, too... Maybe we met during some beyblade championship?" He suggested. There was always that possibility.

{---}

Yes, because new attack rings are just that cooperative with disturbed individuals like May. The brunette shook her head in a more relieved manner, as the object of her concentration was finally fixed, done and over with.

Putting everything back in its place, safe inside her backpack, she got up.
"Hmm..." The female looked down for a moment, thinking . Oh yes, that's right... I have to get myself a new messenger bag. She had suddenly remembered, making a mental note to remember that.

May felt the need to hug her pet cat. She had yet to talk to someone and it was troublesome to look for any office or notice she could be interested at the moment, considering she really didn't care.

And as such, she let he feet guide her, while her mind found its way into neverland for the time being.
