Traverse Town stank of human. This was something Lumine didn't like, particularly, on a regular basis, but it was freedom from the idiots he was forced to live with. The petite Reploid glanced around, orange eyes flashing as he surveyed the area. He didn't see anyone, but that didn't mean he wasn't being watched.
And watched he was. A certain lettuce peered uo slowly, once Lumine looked away, and glanced at Colonel, whispering.
"He didn't see us."
The smaller child had to duck and pull her brother down as Lumine jerked his head to look their way. Now he knew someone was there. Now it was a matter of luring them out. The Reploid glanced around for a minute, brain calculating quickly. An out, an out...
And why was that pest bothering him AGAIN anyhow? This was simply inaccpetable to the Maverick, and he didn't need a pain in his metal a** interfering with his plans (Or private time with Double). Then a genius idea hit him. He got up, and walked away.
Absolutely stunning for an idea.
Too bad it failed. NS soon crept after, Colonel following before thy ducked down again. Lumine frowned, glancing as they ducked into another bush. Oh, she was NOT leaving him alone. Again. The Maverick was getting slightly sick of his so-called sister's constant attempts to tell the world his plans, especially since it meant he had to keep pushing them back.
"I saw you, you know." He stated in his usual calm, almost serene voice. Nova popped her head up and hissed. Lumine snorted.
"If you INSIST on being a pest, you could at least be useful." Lumine hissed. Nova stalked over, giving him a disgusted look.
"The day I work for you, Hell will freeze over, and there shall be free Turkish Delight to all."
WELL THAT WAS POLITE. Lumine growled, then glanced around. There were people around, sure, but now he had an idiot sibling bothering him...
And then a lightbulb went off in Lumine's brain. Noone was really WATCHING the two Reploids, and if Lumine could pull things right...
Lumine looked up at the still glaring Reploid, and grinned.
"You can't stop my plans, you know."
Lumine's voice was almost an inaudible hiss, and he giggled slightly.
"Everyone in my way will be destroyed eventually. Including those idiots at the House. And it will be glorious."
Nova jumped back, growling at the other Reploid irritably.
"You can't!"
Lumine continued to giggle, moving forward. Usually he didn't like being in such close proximity to the rest of the household, but dealing with a problem-- Not a big problem, if it furthered his means. Lumine's twisted grin grew wider, and he looked down at NS.
"You should thank me. When the human plague is dealt with, the Reploids will be able to take control of things..." He bent low, leaning an inch from her face now. Nova locked up-- Lumine had never even come close before. Something felt amiss about what he was up to.
And then Lumine noted to get ahold of some bleach, and made his move.
"A pity you can't see that. I'll just have to kill you, just like everyone else in my way. I did so think you could be my favorite sibling."
And then Lumine planted an emotionless peck to NS' cheek.
The Reploid snapped, drawing her (new) beam sabre and took a swipe at Lumine. Lumine grinned, jumping back as the tip of the beam sabre swiped across his chest. Instead of reacting, he jumped back, putting on a horrified expression. NS didn't buy it for a second, and lunged again, taking another swipe. Lumine shreiked, bringing his arm up to block himself. He wasn't about to be completely helpless, but what he could do was look it. Lumine kept dodging, barely, making note to occasionally take small damage. It was topical, and he knew he could very well end it at any time if he so chose -- both the charade of innocence and the other Reploid's life. But toying, in his mind, was ever so much fun. Finally he allowed himself to fall backwards, not what there were people watching, and he looked as frightened as possible as NS lunged for him before she was stopped.
Colonel gaped a minute. He'd have a good idea Lumine was goading NS, but this, this was definaitely out of hand. The younger (But much larger) Reploid rushed out with suprising speed, grabbing his older sibling's arm. NS spun, and looked at her brother's face. Normally, he was fairly curious, but not now. His face was stern, and she looked around in a daze at the people watching.
"T..That girl attacked me!" Lumine wibbled out. He was GOOD.
About THEN it clicked in NS' brain.
s**t, that b*****d set me up!
NS staggered back a bit, shaking her head, starting to look terrified. She couldn't get blamed. Not for--
Colonel, thankfully, was thinking, where his sibling wasn't. He tugged her arm, casting a reif look of pure disgust at Lumine and mouthing the words "We'll have you for this" before turning. NS dumbly allowed herself to be pulled along, Colonel, for once, leading, out of the city.
There was simply no way they could go to the house like this. Not yet. Not with Lumine to the point of provoking NS. They needed a plan, anything.
For now, they had to retreat. Luckily, battle, unlike NS, was Colonel's forte.
Backin town, Lumine watched the duo retreat. While he was repulsed by the amount of human fuss, he smiled inwardly to himself.
That's two dealt with...
