He stopped in the hallway to wait for Lexaeus and Vexen. He knew he could find Sefirex easily, or at least mostly easily, so that would be their first priority. Once they had him they could find another for their order. There had to be one already. If, as it seemed, Roxas had been the last of them it would make sense that the darkness would make more as their ranks were depleted.

It was about time they did something useful. Sitting around watching things go on was only entertaining as long as there was something actually going on. At least this time he didn't have to listen to that pink haired spaz's ideas. He wouldn't necessarily call Saix a good option either but he was better than most. At least he seemed determined to make something work.

He crossed his arms again as he waited. The other two shouldn't be that long in coming. He'd heard Lexaeus get up and say something to Vexen so as long as the scientist wasn't glued to his book they'd be gone in moments.

Giving their interim Superior a nod of acknowledgement, Vexen left the chamber. Following Lexaeus, he took a moment to conider their mission. If, as Zexion claimed, he already knew of another, the job was half done.

Once clear of the chamber, he paused and looked at both his companions. Still speaking softly, he gave Zexion a small bow.

"Well, my friends, shall we? Lead on, Zexion."

Lexaeus had left the room with no sound save the rustling of his coat, and barely a nod to acknowledge Saix and show that he understood and would follow instructions. His expression was similar to that of a granite rock, rough, and emotionless.

Once outside his expression and stance didn't waver, nor did he speak up again after that perfunctory word bidding Vexen to follow. The stoic warrior had faith that Zexion would be able to sniff out their first target for recruitment, and Vexen was intelligent enough to discover where to search for a second, so there was nothing that needed to be said on his part. If either him or the scientist desired his opinion, they would ask for it. Until then he would be satisfied to let the other two lead.

He opened up a portal to the world outside their own and headed though the darkness. It didn't bother him like it seemed to bother some others of their ranks. Infact he liked the feeling of the darkness enveloping him as he traveled between worlds.

The portal would take him onto the roof of a building at the center of the city. He could easily sniff out Sefirex from there and find his 'friend'. Stepping out into the sunlight he waited for Vexen to join him. "Do you wish to join me to find our first companion or would you like to see what you can do about figuring out what we should be looking for in the second?"

Blinking at the cityscape, Vexen turned his head, seemingly considering the question. After a moment's silence, he took a breath and spoke.

"Truth be told, I'd prefer to tag along. I'm curious to see this person and I think I would prefer to stay away from the castle for a short while."

If he were to admit the truth to himself, he didn't want to go back and risk Saix finding another task for him to accomplish or Saix deciding that he wanted to interogate Vexen the way he would surely be interogatting young Roxas. No, better to stay out of the Berserker's way for the time being.

Lexaeus joined the two on the roof, looking unimpressed at the view as he silently towered over the other two. He had to admit the change in scenery felt refreshing, in a way that wasn't really feeling, but was pleasant enough regardless. He didn't say a word as the other two discussed their plan of action, but he also preffered the scientist to join Zexion. It saved him from having to judge which one could make better use of his presence.

"Good..." He hopped up onto the edge of the building and stuck his nose into the air. Most of the stupid people smelt horrible but he could catch a small trail of the almost sweet scent Sefirex. He could also smell the icy chill coming from Vexen and Lexaeus along with another cold scent. That second cold smell he'd have to follow later. Sefirex was his target now.

Opening another portal he hopped off the roof. "Follow me though this one. It should lead us to him"

"Lead on, my friend," Vexen replied simply, bowing slightly att he waist and indicating that Lexaeus could preceed him. Not that he intended to abandon his companions, but to Vexen's mind, Zexion was weaponless and Lexaeus was the more menacing looking of the three. After all, who was going to find a shield intimidating?

Lexaeus barely inclined his head in a nod to Vexen before striding through the portal. He didn't feel the need to materialize his weapon, that would come if there were truly any danger on the other side. Since Zexion seemed to know their target, he doubted he would have to use it.

Sefirex would probably not like a black portal appearing beside him but Zexion didn't care. It was easier to do that than appear somewhere discrete and then show up. He'd have to get used to the portals eventfully or he wouldn't' be able to get in and out of the castle.

"Sefi..." He purred as he stepped up behind the other. He could easily ignore the poor startled girl at the counter at the little snow cone stand. She'd get over it or the sight of Lexaeus would make her faint. Neither option were his problem.

Sefi whirled around as the portal appeared, the dark clad Audio instinctively pulling his weapon from the darkness before he had a chance to realize why this portal appeared. As Zexion made his presence known, the boy calmed down...slightly.

"Zexion..."

He purred, back, armed hand lowering a bit but still ready to strike if need be.

"Who are your friends?"

A single eyebrow raised, Sefi let his eyes dart to the other two before looking back to the smaller Zexion.

Vexen blinked for a moment. Zexion purring? Wonders would never cease! Pushing his amusement back, he allowed himself to study the younger male with clinical coldness. Except for the hat and sleeveless coat, he appeared much the same as any other Organization member. And if his wariness and seeming attitude were any indication, The Academic could foresee all sorts of delightful personality clashes breaking out between this "Sefi" and oh, say Saix or Larxene.

Moving in close to Zexion, Vexen whispered into his ear, "He certainly seems promising."

Lexaeus paid careful attention to the scene he stepped into on the other side of Zexion's portal, as was appropriate for all good hulking bodyguards. He attempted to tone down his intimidating glare somewhat, since it appeared there would be little need for it as of yet and he didn't want to scare off their new recruit before Zexion could do the convincing. That and he didn't want to frighten the girl at the snow cone stand too badly, she might cause a fuss.

He reached out and tapped Sefirex blade. "Put that thing away. They are my friends." He nudged Vexen slightly "This is Vexen and the giant behind me is Lexaeus."

He tilted his head back to grin at Lexaeus. "Remember i told you there were more with the coats? It's about time you met them." He could imagine himself the fights between Sefirex and Saix and perhaps some of the others. Ego's were always amusing to watch clash.

"Hrmph..."

Sefirex released his grip on his weapon, the sword quickly dissipating into darkness.

"Your friends are interesting but just why do you want me to meet them -now-?"

The scarred Audio folded his arms, fixing the three with a cold stare. Zexion's nature, as much as he loved it, always set him on edge. He was one to twist words and situations to help himself, and Sefi couldn't help but be wary of this sudden turn of events.
