I love the Tachikomas more then any one else and the entire gits seris. I really do I cant help it I love there personality's and there voices and as tanks they are just plain bad a**. Any one else love the tachikomas? I love them as much as they love Batou.

How would that even be possible and I love the tachikomas I dont want to bang them. The major is a different story but I don't look at the tchikomas like that.

That would be a freaky thing to see if they could have babies. If it was possible it would probably like a spider egg sack.

That's nasty because I hate spiders even though I love Tachikomas. The messed up part is there Ai I was purely unique and thats would made them special. The couldn't be recreated again even if some one wanted to. Ha ha ha funny thought when the Tachikomas where talking she said the one that was always reading seemed to enjoy having its brain taken apart.

I watched the one tonight where the Tachikomas meet there daddy and it's pretty sad. I'm not sure how I would feel about being the creator of some thing that changed the world and never being able to take credit for it. We all idolize them for what the can do but I don't think any one really takes into consideration what they lose. The members of section 9 give up there lives to the government because of the importance of the things that they take part in. It's kind of sad really, that's why the only one that has a is togusa.

Yeah, that episode was sad. :C I would feel pretty bad if my creation was taken away from me. Especially something as special as the tachikomas.
But i guess that's just how it goes when you work for the goverment.

Section nine have been stripped from their freedom according to the ending and what the Major said. but i have a couple of questions:
-Can't they quit whenever they want to?
-If their cybernetic parts/components belong to the goverment; would quitting mean they will be stripped from them?
-If so, then what's keeping Togusa from quitting section nine? (Hypothetically of course)

And about the Tachikoma song, i'm not sure which one you mean, but if it's the one they sing in the last episode of the 2nd gig then this is what i found. [Link] If for whatever reason, the link decides not to work, then this is what it said.

It said that the song is called Bokura wa Minna Ikiteiru (We Are All Alive). It's a song Japanese children learn in elementary school.

As such, that might explain why it wasn’t released.

There was an attempted translation, but the original lyrics were not given.

“We all are alive.
Alive, because we laugh

we all are alive
Alive, because we are so sad.

Red blood running though your palm.

mimizu (a bug),okera (a kind of bugs), and amenbo swimming bug)

Well the answer to that is simple enough at least in my eyes. I mean even though the cyber brains would have to be stripped and declassified, it's pretty simple. Even with all they give up they are still not prisoners they are the for the same reason they joined. Because they chose to use what they where good at to make the world a better place and make a difference. And they two section 9 doesnt bother with Minos they take down the big fish that cause problems on a world wide scale or at least affecting Japan.

I aspire to have my own Tachikoma someday. Slowly I've been building up to one. Tiny Skulpy models, to actual robots I've built.
