"...the Challenger!"
Christian Cage's TNA music pipes into the arena. The arena lights go down.
"Hailing from Roanoke, Virginia, standing 5'10", weighing 217 lbs, he is "Your Favorite Wrestler," Casey Bennett!"
Casey stands at the entranceway, as one overhead light focuses down, then another from the far end, then another from the opposite far end. He raises his arms diagonally in the air, as sprays of sparks rain in from the top of the entranceway. When the sparks end, he walks slowly down the aisle, followed by the spotlights. He climbs the stairs and enters the ring through the ropes, finally removing his ring robe and crouching down mid ring with arms diagonally up and head down, as though soaking in the adoration.

What cha gonna do when we come for you? (come for you, come for you) What cha gonna do when we come for you? (come for you, come for you)
The crowd roared and leaped to their feet as the new Estremo champion jumped up from underneath the stage as pyrotechnics shot up. He then ran forward a bit, rolling his hands to the left side of his head and pointing a fist to the crowd. He currently had the Estremo belt around his waist and as he began to walk down the isle, the announcer began his introduction.
"And his opponent, from San Diego, California, standing at a height of 5 foot 3, and weighing in at 140 pounds, he is the ESTERMO CHAMPION, REEEEYYYY MYSSTERRRIOOOO!"
By this point in time Rey was in the ring and he eyed Casey as he walked over to the right turnbuckle that was farthest from the ramp and climped up to the top rope and did his famous taunt, afterwhich he pointed at his E.G. arm bands and then to the sky, before jumping down and taking off his 619 shirt and removing the belt from his waist, kissing it before handing it to the ref. He then turned and faced his opponent, waiting for the bell.

Before the bell, Casey rushes Rey and attempts to clothesline him.

Rey, not putting it by this young, stubbord opponent to attack before the bell, was perpared for a onslaught, hence ready to move. Rey ducked the clothesline, and due to him still being in his corner, other Casey would brake in time, and narrowly avoid the corner, which would cause Rey to attempt a drop kick to send him into the corner, or he would run straight into it, and Rey could attempt to smash Casey's face into the pole.

Casey failed to put the brakes on in time, and ran himself straight into the turnbuckles. Rey immediately made his follow-up attack count, springboarding off the second rope to the outside, pulling Casey across and down into the ringpost.
Casey bounced off the metal post and into the ring, rolling into a face-down prone position. At this point, he didn't have a leg to stand on to counter Rey's further attacks.

Rey climbed up to the top turnbuckle and pointed to the sky, saying this one was for Eddie, before leaping and attempting a five star frogspalsh. If this connected, he would go for the pin and try to make quick work of Casey Bennet.

Casey was thrown for a loop from the opening, but not so badly that he couldn't roll out of the way of Rey's frog splash attempt. Mysterio went splat into the area Casey no longer occupied.
Casey rose quickly to his feet and grabbed Rey's left leg, intending to lift it up and forcefully drive Mysterio's knee into the mat several times.

All of the wind Rey had had in his lungs, was knocked out when he hit nothing but mat on his frog splash attempt, which allowed Casey to connect with all of the knee-to-matt manouvers that he attempted.

Casey sneered with each knee bash. "YOU (WHAM!) ARE (WHAM!) MY (WHAM!) b***h (WHAM!)!" This led to a massive amount of crowd boos, which he soaked in as though it were applause.
Staying with the targeted area, he turned Rey over on his back and elevated the left leg, intending to roll forward and perform a snap kneebreaker.

Rey's vetran surival instincts began to kick out as he pulled legs back and pushed them forward quickly, hoping to push Casey away and into the ropes. If that worked he would get up and try to drop kick him to the outside.

Rey was successful in bringing his legs up for the push into the ropes. On the rebound, Casey hooked his arms around the top rope to arrest his movement, causing Rey's dropkick to catch air and nothing else.
Casey followed up with an attempted diving elbowdrop on Rey's left knee.

Rey had attempted to roll out of the way of the elbow drop, but didn't do this in time, causing the elbow to hit the side of his knee, sending a shot of pain through it. Rey tried not to make it evident that it was hurting by standing up.

(OOC: For the remainder of the match, unless said otherwise, any knee-focused attacks or holds Casey attempts will target Rey's injured knee.)
Try as he might, Rey couldn't conceal the weakness of his knee. Casey smirked at his handiwork.
Casey rose with Rey, measuring him first for a European Uppercut, and if successful, a follow-up kneebreaker.

Rey's bottom jaw smashed up against his top jaw bone as he uppercut hit, causing him to be too diased to do anything about the kneebreaker. He fell to the mat, holding his knee in agony.
