I agree that Kikyou is a very good character, and that she is not evil or stupid just because she is no longer living, but calling Kagome a Biotch is a bit extreme. even more so a Biotch is a female DOG!! That would only make her and Inuyasha closer, and I'm pretty sure you don't want that now do you?(I don't either) I really don't like Kagome myself(at all), but it was a pretty dumb move to say that comment when this thread is full of Kagome lovers that will bite your head off.*sigh* And yet to them, they think it's alright to call Kikyou a biotch. WHERE'S THE JUSTIC IN THAT PEOPLE?!!?! gonk

Certainly anybody who spent some time being dead is within their rights not wanting to return to that state.

HOWEVER

You did nothing to justify eating souls. In my book that is worse than murder. It's metaphysical cannibalism. Kikyo has the right to continue her existance in the living world, but she does NOT have the right to prolong that existance at the expense of others. She's worse than a vampire. She's consuming the souls of other girls who had tragic lives, tragic deaths, and now she's subjecting them to a further post-mortus unpleasantness. It's like those old ladies who bath in virgin's blood to keep them young, or dark sorcerers who sacrifice infants to preserve their immortality.

As for the "biotch" comments, many immature fans result to insults and show an inexplicable degree of violent hatred, Kikyo fans and Kagome fans alike.

She's an undead construct, which is a shade different from being a human. She doesn't chew and swallow them, but demons serve her and collect souls, and she absorbs them into her body (you see them drop into her with a little shimmer). It's not clear whether they become integrated or used up, or if they just remained trapped inside her, but either way she is preying upon them.

I use "eat" because it's the most appropriate term. She needs souls for sustenance. They keep her undead and mobile. She doesn't put them in jars or guide them somewhere, she takes them into her body, which is somewhere they don't want to go, otherwise she wouldn't need the demon soulcatchers.

"Dead" souls are no different from live ones. That's the primary thing about a soul. It's the part that continues after death. She's a dead person, and she's eating, absorbing, collecting, call it whatever you like, other dead people. They don't go to the afterlife, they get snatched up and delivered into her cold clay (literally).

Im srry Im not trying 2 dis any characters but I hate Kikyo. She does eat dead souls but not all the time.and the souls should be resting in peace not going into Kikyo. she is NOT helping inuyasha and others finding the shards I never saw her give them a shard b4 but only take it away from them. Kagome only whines because she LOVES inuyasha its the same w/Kikyo basically.

you asked why we hate kikyo? well why do u hate kagome? -.-

i personally hate kikyo, i mean shes ******** dead, why cant she staay dead? why does she always come back to life?
