My little 3 month old daughter, Ariana Marie, had two of her biggest "firsts" yesterday!!!
In the morning, her daddy was feeding her formula. I was in and out of sleep next to them. He set her hands around the bottle, about an inch and a half from her mouth, then he took his hands away!!! She held up her own bottle!
Then last night, she was real fussy, so we set her down in the playpen for some "tummy time" (we figure if she's going to get mad about something, have her use the energy to move around and get tired). We were standing by her playpen, and saw her raise her hip and leg off the ground. She's done that before, but we kept watching. She continued until she was flat on her back! The movement was so easily continuous that she looked like she had done it for years!!!!
Sorry, I'm an excited mommy. ^_^

Have you ever noticed how much smarter, cuter, and more fascinating little ones are than we grown-ups?

Aaaw~
I think that's one of my favourite things about being a mommy...getting to watch this little person discover new things and abilities. It's absolutely delightful. whee

Ariana is too cute. She can roll from her back to her tummy now. It's hilarious to watch her, since she can only roll in one direction.
I also heard her laugh for the first time, yesterday. My mom was telling me about it, so I smiled at Arie, and she laughed. It's so cute, it sounds like she's fussing, but with that big smile... lol.
