Fancy Slide show (Exterior)
Fancy Slide show 2 (Interior)
Over several generations of her family, Kuroi's 'estate' has grown to be quite something to see at least once. Due to the role of nature and poetry in both of her parents' jobs, the Kousetsu family's main house is only large enough to accommodate the family and their needs. Besides the small amount of space for the Main House, Servant's House, the Koi Pond, The Tea House and a small temple, the rest of their property is an untouched hillside. In fact, there is always a small walk in between any of these places so that one would have no choice but to be more aware of the nature around them. It's a very tranquil place with touches of both Traditional and Modern Japanese living.

"Okay, so you're sure you have everything right?"
"Yes, sis."
"You have your toothbrush, your Gameboy DS, and your games?"
"Yes, sis."
"And did you pack an extra pair of underwear just in case..."
"Aw come on sis! Yell it out why dontcha?!"
Kuroi furrowed her brow and crossed her arms over her stomach as she looked down at Ketsueki. She didn't see a problem with her asking about it, seeing as there was no one within a few miles of their place as it was. And besides, she knew without her that her little brother would end up calling home to ask for something. She could not have that happen the afternoon of her party. She was hoping that there would be a good amount of people that would end up coming, seeing as the invitations she had sent out had stated that the guests could bring two others with them. But then again, the Hosts of the Host Club did have that hour and a half to two hours of Club Activities. Hopefully they'd come soon afterwards.
Sighing softly to herself, she ruffled up her little brother's chestnut-brown hair and gently led him along to the waiting vehicle. Just for tonight she had arranged for both of her siblings to be gone, away staying the night at their friends' houses. Taka had gone earlier, and now she watched as Ketsueki was driven off as well. They were a nuisance of course, but she would end up worrying about them during the party. Such a nice Big Sister! After watching the vehicle until it disappeared into the distance, she spun around and started through the house to the back yard.
"Now I need to set up for the party..."

"So we have the mochi here, and next to them will be the onigiri. No, that'll look too wierd. How about this...?"
She was down to the last details, and all the while trying not to break down with nervousness from the fact that people were coming and she was hosting. She had tried to do her share of the work with the servants, mostly with the decoration of the paper lanterns on the tree branches and the lines of ground lights in the shape of a coiled dragon wrapping itself around a Sakura tree in the backyard. She had tried her hand at cooking some of the food, but all she ended up doing was rolling the onigiri. What kind of wife would she be later in life? After a little bit, she decided to place the varaity Japanese crackers next to the onigiri, took a few steps back, and simply flopped onto the chair behind her.
"Both inside and outside of the place are done and done. Now I simply wait for the guests to come."

Alcy stood in front of the gate. "Hmmm..." She looked down at the invitation she had recieved. "Yep, this is the right house...." She stood there for a moment, then pressed the bell next to the nameplate. She hitched her guitar on her shoulder and fingered her ds in her pocket, hoping she wouldn't need it.

Not long after the chiming of the doorbell had faded did the front gates open, seemingly by themselves. That was before the maid stepped out from some unseen hiding place and bowed towards Alcy.
"Welcome, Miss. You must be here for Kuroi-chan's party. Please follow me."
She straightened herself up and motioned down the small path leading from the gates to the front doors of the house. On both sides of the path were bare but all the while beautiful sakura trees, each with at least five red paper lanterns hanging from their branches and strings of lights connecting them all. The maid smiled, then turned and started down the path to the front door to alert the Mistress of the guest's arrival.

Alcy quickly looked left, then right, then quickly followed the maid that had appeared from behind the gate. The scenery is really nice, she noted, her artistic mind noting the way one of the lanterns dragged the branch down. Her guitar started to slip off her shoulder, so she hitched it up again.

As the maid opened the door for Alcy, the first thing one would notice would be the room just beyond the entryway. Several tables had been pushed together in order to make room for the banquet that had been prepared for the female Kousetsu's guests. A large varaity of Japanese dishes made up the bulk of the food items there, but there were also some Western dishes present amongst them. Not to mention there were several bags of Cheetos and Doritos off to one side of the table.
The next thing that might be noticed would have been the grey eyes peeking at Alcy from over the back of her chair. She had heard the footsteps a little while before the door had opened, but hadn't gathered the hostess-like attitude before they had entered. Eyes wide with joy and excitement, she smiled and stood to greet her.
"Welcome to my party, Alcy-chan. Make yourself at home."

"Ah, konbanwa, Kuroi-chan." Alcy gave a wave of greeting and smiled. She took her shoes off, then walked over to one wall and leaned her guitar against the wall.
"So, i'm the first one here, then?" She looked around, excited to be in a new place, taking in her surroundings. "So what are we gonna do while we wait?" she looked at Kuroi.

"Ah... How about a tour of the house really quick? Then we can go into the game room and play something until more people come!"
She was worried. Maybe everyone was simply getting ready for the party and was taking a little bit of time. And the Hosts could take their sweet time if they felt like it, for she had respect for their Club Activities and such. But still...
"Or we could go straight to the video games. Your call."

A gleam came to Alcy's eye. "Video games!" Alcy simultaneously pulled her DS and her personal Wiimote (blue cover with necoconeco stickers) out of her pocket. She looked up at Kuroi and grinned. "What games do you have?" She started to chuckle, slightly evilly.
((Come, Hitori-san! The fun's about to begin! ))

"Well Christmas was only a little while ago. I got myself Guitar Hero I & II for the PS2, Mario Party 6 for the Gamecube, Trauma Center: Second Opinion, and Zelda: Twilight Princess. Pick and choose, my friend."
She had specifically asked for multiplayer games for Christmas, having been planning this for a good while now. She was not about to leave her guests without some entertainment if the Hosts didn't show up for a little while more. As for the games like Trauma Center and Zelda, those were fun to watch anyways.

Having slipped away from the twins house, Hitori ran the whole way there. His eyes steady on the road, having memorized the directions by heart. Silver hair wisped around his shoulders as he moved, the strands dancing in the slightly cold wind. It was a traditional house wasn't it? It meant he had to be on his best behavior. The new years plans for Kuroi- in fact he hadn't seen her at all during the party. It was strange, that he would notice but just pass it on as something small- it was New Years after all. Though, thinking about it, he hadn't seen Nekozawa either. Perhaps the firecrackers would set him off. But there he arrived, a flushed look on his face from the running. One thing that did settle in the back of his mind- was there a chance his father would be there?
