I love a lot of Goth-rock and Darkwave. I especially like Siouxsie and the Banshees and Cinema Strange.

Meh, I just wanted to throw together a music thread that I thought fit all the bands I liked. razz This works for me! XD
And, yeah, Darkwave counts as Goth Rock... and Death Rock is like Goth Rock and Punk, so it can be here too! w00t
metal = everything from Linkin Park to Korn to SOAD to Black Sabbath to Led Zeppelin. And Punk = any punk, soft or heavy.

Oh good, I like bands from all those genres.
It may be because I've DJed before? or just made scads of mixtapes back in the days of cassettes, but I never understood people with a gung ho loyalty to one genre of music. I like all kinds of things; it's best to let one's tastes do what they do and be eclectic.
Besides, any song can be covered in any other style, so let your brain run wacky. A song you don't like as it is now might still be a good song if you envision it played by another band in another way.
I like oldschool punk a lot- Dead Kennedys, Ramones, Agent Orange, Reagan Youth, TSOL, Artless, Lydia Lunch and suchlike. I could go on and on but I won't bother.
I like mostly classic old metal- Black Sabbath and early solo Ozzy, Iron Maiden, Venom... I like some death metal like Cannibal Corpse, but for the most part I like to understand the lyrics.
Some of my fave Goth bands are Sioxshie and the Banshees, Christian Death with Rozz, Bauhaus, Women of Sodom, and Candy Spooky Theater.
I also like...what? what would you call that genre? Not industrial, certainly, that's too hard. Not trance tho; that's too soft. Anyway. Wherever you'd lump Legendary Pink Dots and Coil and bands of that ilk.
