This is where the crew of the Intellect can post their characters' profiles and biographies. Before posting here, PM your profile to me so that I can approve your joining the crew. Please be as elaborate as you like, the wordier the better in my opinion.
My Profile:
Captain: Catherine Leanna Terrel, a.k.a the Scurvy Skylark, played by Bunnyhiphophip.
Appearance: Long unruly dark brown hair tied back with a ragged red bandanna, has two gold hoop earrings that she had welded shut around her ears, wears a loose shirt and pants for easy movement. Always at her side is her sabre in its scabbard, her golden compass (that may or may not have special properties, I'll never tell.), a likely half-empty bottle of rum, and her trusty undead monkey Jack.
Background: Catherine was one of the most successful female buccaneer captains in the sea, captain of The Archer, cumulatively the wealthiest pirate ship in the Caribbean. She was in a bitter rivalry with her half-brother Edmond, who was first mate of The Corona, a larger ship, and more modern. In a vicious battle off of Curacao, The Corona's captain was cut down and Edmond went missing, presumed dead. The Archer was sent to the depths along with most of her crew. Catherine was able to barter passage on The Corona out of Curacao, but she was cast overboard halfway to Antigua and washed up on an overgrown sandbar. From there, she worked on a small fishing vessel that soon ran afoul of a reef, leaving her stranded on a makeshift raft. She floated into Tortuga and managed to commandeer a smaller vessel with a couple of drunk wretches which she traded, along with several bars of gold, to an undercrewed captain stranded at Nassau in exchange for the Intellect, which she repaired and set ready to sail.

Stowaway: Edmond Frederick Terrel, played by Bunnyhiphophip
Appearance: Smooth dark brown hair in a short ponytail, cold grey eyes and a bronzed face. He is broad-shouldered and muscular, and wears the dark blue coat of an official of the King's Navy, which he took from said official when he was taken aboard the Corona. He carries no sword, but he keeps daggers hidden around his person.
Background: Formerly First Mate of the Corona, Edmond is now a stowaway on the Intellect, having followed his rival half-sister Catherine to Nassau after he was sent adrift in the battle between the Archer and the Corona. He believes that rum is vile, does not enjoy piracy or theft, and loathes killing, as he believes all are beneath him, but he is completely obsessed with riches and could not bear his sister's success as a pirate. Now he waits in the rum cellar of the Intellect, waiting for the stores of treasure to fill up, and for his chance to finally beat his sister.
