is it the entrance fee? cuz- it won't be much if everyone wants in. i plan on chipping in, you know. lol.

well- if enough enter, i'm thinking the fee to be like, 25 gold each. is that too much?

ok well - in the subforum about contests -

i was holding a monthly contest, and paying the gold myself- but really, after buying this guild i can't afford it.

so i thought, ok, entrance fee, and 25 gold is NOT that bad, but i guess my monthly thing may have to skip this month. (even though i was going to make up the rest of the gold myself lol)


the contest is this.

you make an avatar at tektek that is as close as possible to a character from buffy (or angel).

you have to choose a particular picture of that character from the show, and then emulate it in your avatar.

there were some very good ones in the past.

and my prize money this month, if people will enter, will only be for 1st place.


2500 gold for 1st. and i'm still willing to do that, just to get the ball rolling, even if people can't afford the measly 25 gold (which, if they make 2 posts a day, they surely can afford, they're just selfish and cheap and want things for free ROTF- WELCOME TO GAIA where very few of us give things away).



but i demand perfection with the avvies, cuz 2500 gold for just going to tektek for 5 minutes and throwing something together is a nono. lol

also, whatever pic you used as inspiration? i was it either posted there, or linked.

that may be cuz the stupid a** captain didn't post the new thread for you all to enter in.

i'm just sayin.

No - you should go check the sub. the only one that had a 25 gold fee is the avatar making contest.

But no one did anything about that, so the captain is paying all those thousands out of her own gold, even though --- nah, don't get me started.

Anyways, since it's the end of the month, I do believe that the contests will be replayed monthly, and you should wait till the 1st.
