This Unofficial Operation is meant to acquaint the Pilots in it with the flight controls and capabilities of their MS. There is a possibility of changes to the mission later on...
The staging ground is an open patch of land in the shape of an oval, and surrounded by woodland.
At the middle of the patch is an urban-type of randomly shaped and spaced walls.
At the north end is a firing range-type area with both stationary and MS-shaped moving targets.
At the south end is a medical station and armory, containing regulation 105mm Machine Guns, along with paintball refits of all other weaponry types.

Entering the staging area piloting his Zaku I, Majik's MS steps into the vicinity of the Med Facility and Armory.
"Ready for a little training fun? But first, tell me what your callsign is... I didn't catch it..."

Walks over to armory and yoinks a 105mm Machine Gun from the ones laid out. Checks to make sure loaded and functions correctly. After the check, ML's moves MS into position to begin Exercise.

Picking up a paintball 105mm along with a paintball sniper rifle and paintball rocket launcher, Majik lugs his equipment over to the firing range and sends in the codes to start up the moving targets...
"Lets begin with traditional firing practice from the firing line. After you become acclimated to your weaponry, we can move to the urban warfare portion of the area."
Hefting the down-sized version of the Zaku-II Sniper rifle, Majik's MS goes to the kneeling position and takes aim, firing three shots in rapid succession. Farther down the range, two of the markers make contact with a moving GM target at mid-to-chest level, the third round striking where the dummies weapon might have been in a combat situation...
"Meh... two out of three ain't bad... wish I'd sprung for some sort of targeting mod, though..."
Offering both the Sniper rifle and Rocket Launcher to ML, Majik nodded his Zaku's head.
"Your turn."

"Boomsticks!!" ML yells as he takes Majik up on his offer.
Hefts Rocket launcher using shoulder as support ((SPNKr style)) and places sniper in the other hand. While crouching down to one knee ML waits for a target to appear.
A moving target 'scurries' across his line of sight and ML shoots both the sniper 5 times and the RL 2 toward the target aiming a little in front of it. 2 sniper paints take out a knee 1 hits torso area, others miss. Also 1 'rocket' hits ground close to target, other fly right by.
"I wish rocket was a Rocket. It would have exploded."
((Wonder it I could get a Afro put on my MS....))

Opening the com, Majik chuckles.
"Fancy work, ML, but try that in combat and you'll only reduce your mobility and chances of survival... plus, I don't think your teammates would be very happy with you."
Picking up the scattered weaponry and moving to the Armory, Majik places each piece back in its respective place. Removing two 105mm paint ball machine guns, he then proceeds to the urban part of the course.
"You ready for something a little more challenging?"

"What you talking about? The sniper thing? I don't snipe, I run in and blow s**t up." ((Of course you knew that though right?))
Fluffs afro a little bit and makes it a little bit more bouncy, even though no one will notice.
"Guess one of those guns for me? And here is a quick one, now I can run in and be pretty much suicidal right?"

Tossing ML a machine gun, Majik starts moving off into the opposite side of the course.
"And as for being suicidal, that may have worked to overwhelm the enemy in simulators, but against a seasoned GM pilot.... things wouldn't be pretty, to say the least..."
Reaching the other side, Majik makes a final transmission before cutting radio contact.
"alright, you ready to get started? I'm moving into the course. Treat me as if I were a hostile... I'll be gunning for you as well."
Racking the bolt back on his weapon, Majik moves in cautiously...

Moves into urban area. Sticking to shadows of buildings.
'Wonder what he'll try to do. Records show he like to snipe, but some people change strategy in situations. Guess I gonna find out soon.'

Reaching the approximate middle of the course, Majik turns his Zaku I and begins to move off to his left and forward, moving slowly and surely to prevent seismic transfer of his movements that would give away his position...
Now... ML seems to like rushing in haphazardly... lets see what he does now...

Watching from atop a 'building', ML watches as Majik moves. ML had to climb it with his hands so he wouldn't use the thrusters. He left many holes in the side.
ML then jumps from his perch and right at Majik. ((Af-Ro, Showtime!!))Halfway down he begins to fire his gun toward Majik.
"Here comes the Afro!!"

Hearing the report of ML's machine gun, Majik turns rapidly and hops backward out of his line of fire, dodging around the corner of a building. Taking stock of his MS, he notices a few hits to his left arm and lowers its responsiveness, just as if he'd been hit with real rounds....
Darting back out and strafing the area where he was ambushed, he squeezes off a few rounds in MLs general direction and moves on from building to building, keeping to the shadows.

Watching Majik scurry off into the buildings, ML lands and is instantly hit by some 'bullets'. One hits his gun and others patter his torso area. His places his gun down since it was 'broked' and reduces stats on MS.
Well since Majik ran off so fast, I don't think that he knows my gun is dead. Maybe it's time to start to sneak.
ML then begins his sneaky ways. Not being too good at it he pretty much believes that Majik will find him soon. When he would, ML's reaction time and all would be down for his whole suit so he'd be at a disadvantage.
