-Ashura-ou will wake up soon and the next country the gang will land is Celes. -CLAMP mentioned again that Tsubasa will have a Happy Ending. Although there might be a character (or more than one) who won't have a Happy Ending (ohohoh~). However, CLAMP's concept of "Happy Ending" is unusual, the person said that during RG Veda's time, CLAMP also said that it would have a Happy Ending xD -Also, the people who attended to it said that CLAMP's Internet Radio (and probably CLAMP-PLA.NET too) will cover the event ^__^ I can't wait !! A special thanks to Sakura-chan for helping me out with the translation ^^
EDIT: Fixing and adding some things: - CLAMP specified that only one character will not have a happy ending (I wasn't so sure about it before, sorry ^^") - Tsubasa and XXXHOLiC's climaxes will happen at the same time, meaning they'll end together. Also, the links between both series will get stronger and stronger from now on. (Thanks for the scoop, r_u_k_i_a-san ^__^) - The drink served at the event was called "Kuroi Mokona" (Black Mokona). - According to Satsuki's column, there will be more events throughout Japan during this year, including ones outside Tokyo. ~ taken directly from here. ----------------------------- Soooo... thoughts? sweatdrop

Ahah. You beat me. I should stalk him more.
Personally, I'm not exactly looking forward to Celes. It's just a sign that the angst is going to go on for a whole 'nother arc. DX And really? I miss the happy, now that I've had my fill of bloody angsty OTP to last a lifetime. (Well, not quite. But w/e.)
As for the "happy ending" part? Kurogane and Fai seem pretty set, as soon as they stop hating each other. It's probably between the Syaoran duo, for that tragic ending. :/ Because if Sakura were to have an unhappy ending, it would make both of their endings unhappy... so it's impossible. Lucky girl, she's safe. xP

Actually, I only found out because someone posted a link to the entry in the Kurogane/Fay lj community. sweatdrop
I'm looking forward to Celes, but at the same time, I'm dreading it a bit as well. I've been extremely curious about Fay's past from the very beginning, and now it finally seems like we'll get to find out what actually happened. But Fay and Ashura meeting again... seems to me like it could be a potentially dangerous (or even fatal) situation for Fay and/or Kurogane. I don't want anything bad worse to happen to them. surprised
I've been enjoying the angst, for the most part. Which is really strange, because I usually prefer the happy-cute-fluffiness, as well. I guess that in this particular series, I found the angst to be refreshing. Although I miss seeing the characters happy, it feels like we're finally making progress in the story and character development. It's kind of like a turning point. I'm hoping that the characters will eventually find a balance between the fluff and the angst, though, because I agree... a lot of this does go a long way!
I'm not really sure what to think about the unhappy ending bit. I agree that it's very likely that they are referring to one of the Syaorans, but I could easily see it being Fay or Kurogane, as well. I can't really decide between the four. surprised I agree that Sakura seems to be the safest in the group.

Heehee...I'm looking forward to Celes, too. And after reading a bit of RG Veda and finding some stuff out about Ashura-ou, I don't believe Ashura-ou was a terribly bad person. I can imagine him as sad that his wife killed his son and left him for his greatest enemy. I also think that Ashura-ou may have taken Fay in as a sort of son. Perhaps Fay was a prince, and he didn't want to become king? I dunno. I'm wierd. Point is, I don't think Ashura-ou was a bad person (to begin with, at least...).
And yeah: I don't really think Fay and Ashura-ou's meeting will come out well, either. Knowing CLAMP, it'll probably end in tears (for all we know, Fay could be the one who doesn't have a happy ending crying ). But I REALLY hope Fay has his Happily Ever After (preferably with Kurogane heart )!

My thoughts on the whole thing:
Maybe what we think is going to happen wont happen. Maybe Ashura-ou is really the good one and Fye isnt. :O Then what would you guys think then o: xD
Or maybe it'll be like:
Ashura-ou: "FYE"
Fye: "NUU DONT SAY IT!"
Ashura-ou: "Fye... I.am.your.father."

I think it is very likely that Ashura is not the bad guy that everyone seems to assume that he is. If that were true, that wouldn't necessarily make Fay bad, either... but given that this is CLAMP, anything is possible. I agree that whatever happens is probably something we won't expect and didn't even think of. [Spamasaurus.Rexx] Or maybe it'll be like:
Ashura-ou: "FYE"
Fye: "NUU DONT SAY IT!"

Me, too! o.o It could be ending soon, although I don't think this really gives any indication of when the series will end. It only states that there will be a happy ending, not that it is going to end anytime soon. I hope it doesn't end soon... this is the only manga that has really been able to keep my interest lately.

It sure would effect the TRC and Holic-verse simultaneously and possibly disasterously. Heeey~~ That would mean everything they paid is null and void, perhaps, right? Gets returned? Yeah, they have...which brings up the question of "What's up with all the bodies lying around in Celes castle courtyard(?) in the first volume?" I have no idea...perhaps it had something to do with Fay's magic...I dunno. I'm just guessing. But I suppose we'll find out in the near future, so yays! And I know I'm just stating the obvious, but Fay's such a sad character (and I could go on about how he acts happy when he isn't and the fact that he hides just about EVERYTHING about himself, but I won't, 'cuz that would take FOREVER for me to type/you to read). In my opinion, if anyone in Tsubasa deserves a happy ending (besides Sakura 'n real!Syaoran 'n Kurogane), it's Fay. Hey! Has anyone besides me gotten the idea that maybe it's not any of the main characters that gets the unhappy ending? Maybe it's a kinda-on-the-side character, like Fei Wang Reed! Right....now I'm being silly; sorry...
