The manga is over and it actually explains everything unlike the anime. the endings are different.., and it's liscensed by tokyopop, but they haven't come out with a single volume yet..

There was supposed to be a 2nd season for the Spiral manga. I saw it when I was buying volume 5 of the 1st season of Spiral. Though the 2nd season will not be finished because one of the authors passed away.
The anime is okay. Not really the best ending but it leaves things at a cliffhanger for more to come.
