Bathsheba lingered by a small, whispy tree as she gazed up at the mid-day sky. The sun was bright and warm, giving her light colored coat little grief as far as temperature. It was a clear, sunny day and he couldn't help but pause in her travels. She normally flew when days were grim, dull, storm ridden, or something required her immidiate attetion. But for now things were calm and quite and she was able to stop and take a silent moment for herself. For that was about as much self-indulgence as she allowed herself, for her duties were always her top priority.
With a small turn of her head she set off again, her wings folded neatly at her sides.

For once, Angusho wasn't doing anything in particular, he was merely sitting around as his comerades drank from a nearby watering hole. It almost bothered him that he was hardly moving, the large pink lion was almost always in motion.
Then, just as he stood up to leave his current state of boredom, he spotted something out of the corner of his eye. A lioness, by the looks of it, and not one he was traveling with. Upon closer inspection he would have seen her wings, but he was already in defense mode. He had to protect the group from unwanted rogues.
"You there, what is your buisness here? Speak quickly, and leave just as quickly." He said with a low growl, eyeing the strange looking lioness. For one thing, she had what slightly resembled a mane coming out of her neck, for another she had jewlery. Had he been observent enough to notice that her wings were real rather than merely markings, he would have been able to add that to the list of strange things about this seeming rogue.

One of Sheba's ears moved slightly at his voice and she soon turned her head slowly to bring calm amythist eyes upon the agressive pink male. She wondered if he lacked respect, for it was rather dangerous to speak to a god or goddess in such a fashion. Even those who disliked them knew as much. But within moment she saw his ribbons of strong duty to his pride. He was just doing as he should, and she respected that, even if he should treat her with a little more of it.
"I need not explain myself to you, for my business is everywhere," she said simply, practically. "But I apollogize for setting you on edge." She took a few steps out of the tree's cover to be seen a little better, her wings flexing slightliy.

At the movement, Angusho noticed the wings, and blinked confusedly, but did not flinch. He stared at them for a moment, the growl in his throat receding and his mind working furiously, looking for an explaination.
Being a bit on the dumb side, he could not find one, but quickly assumed (correctly) that this was no oridnary lion.
"Who... What are you?" He asked hesitantly, ignoring her words.
Such a strange creature, and not resembling any of the entities that he and his pride worshiped. She was most deffinately not father earth, nor brother river. She didn't appear to be mother sky, though the option of being sister tree had a slight possibility, her being by a tree and all, but she didn't seem the jealous type, as sister tree had always been depicted to him by the elders.
The only other option was Kita'mauti, the death fixer... She would only appear when a great king was to die soon, and the female did seem rather shadowy, that must be who she was, right?
"No..." He said to himself, immediately thinking of Ndege. "No, Ndege shall not die, he is being protected! Leave, Kita'mauti, away with you! My lord is still strong, he will live! You are not needed this day." He explained frantically, wondering if he should turn and run to find Ndege, and protect him from the danger he was inevitably facing.
