So this weekend my dad is going to see his mother and I have to go with. I really don't want to but they keep gilting me so I have to go. my mom says I don't have anything going on this weekend,nothing better to do. My dad says he doesn't really have to go but I have to share in the pain. I really really want to say no but can't. My dad will be hurt because I don't want to see my Grandmother and I'm sure my mom will threaten me at some point with the "Go with your father or we'll kick you out of the house". I'm an adult for goddess sake but my parents can still guilt me.
So far the new year for me sucks. I've dealt with my 2 friends breaking up becuase the girl decided to lie big time to cover up something small,getting in a car accident,and being forced to go visit my Granmother even though I don't want to. Happy f-ing New Year.

My mom is the Queen of guilt. She just calls me to say hi and I tell her everything. When a guy spent the night after we got drunk she didn't know but the next morning she called me up and her just sayig hi made me spill my guts. That and the whole "we'll kick you out" thing over my head really pisses me off,so yeah I'm stuck doing whatever. grrrrrrrrrr

Peles... no offense but if you're living in your parents house and they don't charge you rent or anything like that, then it's no really unfair of them to ask you to do things for them. Is it really so bad to go visit your grandmother? She is your family after all. Honestly, if you don't like it so much, save up some money and get yourself an apartment somewhere, then nobody will be able to tell you what to do.

Dukes Peles... no offense but if you're living in your parents house and they don't charge you rent or anything like that, then it's no really unfair of them to ask you to do things for them. Is it really so bad to go visit your grandmother? She is your family after all. Honestly, if you don't like it so much, save up some money and get yourself an apartment somewhere, then nobody will be able to tell you what to do. Enter at......Your Own Risk
I am working on getting a job,saving up for a car and than saving up for an apartment but its going to be awhile. I know I have to put up with my parents crap but it gets too much when they want you to do things you really don't want to.
as for seeing my Grandmother I don't want tot because I rarely know her, she very depressed,have nothing to talk to her about. It will be a weekend of akward ilence and my dad crappy. No thank you.

Maybe you need to try to find something in common with your grandmother or something... I don't know... but if you go there intent on being miserable then you'll probably just end up being miserable.
