Before I start the fic, I've gotta say a few things. All characters in this story are (c) to me, as well as the plot, so no stealing and we'll get along fine. ^^

Yes, Ryo's bi, and this story is about his past. So I put the warning there just in case someone complains. Now don't say I didn't warn you (that damn pun is used too much XP). Oh yeah, and there'll be cussing, and knowing Ryo, a lot of it. So another warning.
This particular story begins when Ryo is around five hundred and twenty-one. He just got out of a cell his mother locked him up in for about five hundred years of his life. So, now he's currently wandering around in a town on Earth.
Chapter 1: Wandering
Ryo was walking. Just walking. Headed towards no where in particular he was. He just needed to get away from that one place. He couldn't even remember the name of the place he was locked in, but he knew that he'd never go back. So, here he was, wandering the streets of some nameless city he'd reached. His crimson orbs were set on the ground, not even casting the buildings around him a glance. He was wandering in the shadows of the night, not wanting any human (or demon, elf, dwarf, etc.) contact. And soon he was out of the city again.
He kept wandering, eyes on the ground, until he literally bumped into something. That something turned around to look at Ryo, staring down at the shorter humanoid. Ryo felt the gaze of the taller person and looked up to meet the clouded eyes of the elf, "Sumimasen," he muttered, quickly looking back at the ground and walking around him. The elf grabbed Ryo's shoulder, turning him around to gaze into the demon's crimson pools. Ryo made no move to stop him, he just stood there waiting to be let free with a rather jaded expression. They stood there for a long while, just staring at each other. Apparently, the elf was finding something of interest in those eyes, because it was about an hour until he finally stood up and embraced Ryo, tears clouding his eyesight. The demon did nothing to stop this, just stood there like a dead doll with no soul.
"M.. Mysia," the elf said softly through sobs, "Ai't mai mysia." The elf's ebony hair fell over his eyes while he rocked the demon back and forth like you would a child.
"Wakarimasen," Ryo spoke up, his tone emotionless.
"Do you speak Common?" the elf asked in a hushed tone.
"Yeah," Ryo replied, just as emotionless as before.
"Alright, may I ask if I could travel with you?"
