It is very sad. I purchased Final Fantasy XII when it came out and I still have only 4...maybe 5 hours of it. What is the matter with me?!?!?!

It's supposed to take about 100 hours to finish.
They always say that, but I almost always manage to knock a few hours off their time.
Like FFVII was supposed to take 70 hours to finish the story, and I did it in around 53. I've clocked up almost 180 hours on it now.

It's so true though. I like playing long games like that. I managed to beat X and X-2 in under 30 hours. Can't remember the exact number though. Anyway, I am just worried that my lack of playing is due to not being interested in the game for some reason.

Dhoffryn is correct. FF XII has Sky Pirates. The game dropped back on 31 Oct 2006, but a friend of mine borrowed it. I suggest you play Final Fantasy Tactics before you play XII. On another point, the reason they tell you it takes so long is the side quests and minigames.

But it takes long with any RPG game. It's just that I am having trouble staying focus into the game in order to progress.

I bought Final Fantasy XII at the beginning of November. I put like 10 hours into the game, stopped playing it and lent it to my friend.
It's not that great compared to the other ones.
Right now I'm re-beating Final Fantasy III (US).

I was told that it's slow in the beginning and that it will eventually pick up the pace. It has awesoem graphics, I admit, but I am still not...you know...getting into it. Did you get into it at least a little bit at one point? Any point?
