for the anime? that was when they excaped fromt the belly of the demon and naraku excaped(yet again) but i dont remember if they got the jewl or nto, but they have one shard tho.

yeah seriously thou like it was a pritty shity ending i want like a good ending like they live happly ever after and inuyahsa and kagome like date and stuff and inuyasha and sess make up instand of hateing each other that whould be a awsome ending o and shippo finds a love and stuff like yeah

The reason Inuyasha ended like it did was cause a key person in the production of the anime, a producer, writer, or artist died and the creator of Inuyasha didn't want to continue the series. Or so I've heard. I've also heard that sence the creator is doing the manga, or it has ben extended past the point that the anime ended, she felt that she should continue the series, and will do so. I'm not entirely sure, you could look it up on come fas sites and what not but I'm too lazy and tired at the moment to do so myself.
