December 2008
Über fluent: English
Intermediate: French
Decent, understand more than I speak: German
Elementary with magical bursts of super comprehension: Spanish (can figure out the gist of a conversation or anything written, read it, count to 12, basic sentences, insults and curse words) Swedish (can figure out the general point of something, count, read it, and make basic sentences)
Pathetically Elementary: Arabic (can read some of it, vocabulary doesn’t go past 50 words) Japanese (can count to 10, say some phrases, read some Kanji, vocabulary not past 50 words) Hungarian (able to understand what my grandmother says when she yells at me, can count to 5, say some phrases and read it)
On the shelf: Russian (I know like…6 words. I can read half of what's given to me.) Finnish (must learn!) Chinese (Eh….I know some expressions.) Norwegian (Can sort of understand using my knowledge of other Germanic languages) Hindi (must learn!) Icelandic (must learn!) Zulu (I forgot the three words I used to know. >_< It sounds so cool!) Norse (I seriously want to learn this….) Welsh (I just want to....)
