So, The Nintendo Wii and the Play Station 3 are out. Most places do not have Wiis to sell, and won't until March. Play Station 3, on the other hand, have an abudance of consoles. I even heard at Walmart that they are not selling fast enough.
So, my question is this. In your mind, which system is better and why. Do not give me "because it rocks" or "such and such is stupid". Real details, folks.
I think the Wii is better, which is sad becuase I am a Play Station fan. Play Station 3 has some nice graphics, but they are replying on their fans to stay with them. Nintendo has opened doors with a revolutionary idea that is fun for everyone. That is why Wiis are selling like hotcakes. Plus, Sony thought that they could put whatever price on their console and people would still buy them. Not happening.

AT OUR MALL THERE WAS THIS VIDEO GAME THING AND THEY GAVE US AN EXAMPL E OF THE WII.
HOTT.
I DON'T KNOW IF IT WAS JUST CUZ IT WAS A SAMPLE WII AND HAD TO BE PERFECT FOR DEMO OR IF THE REST THAT THEY LET OUT WILL BE JUST AS GOOD, BUT I THOUGHT IT WAS GREAT, GRAPHICS WERE SO-SO COMPARED TO XBOX (HAVEN'T TRIED THE PS3) BUT BEING IN CONTROL LIKE THAT? HOT.

The Wii seems like it might do the best this time around. It's got new interesting gameplay, a really hot title (New Zelda game yay) and is the cheapest and seems to be the most available. Where I'm from I have yet to see a PS3. The xbox360 has killer graphics but they never have any good console rpgs.

My roommate just came back from her rmother's place and brought back with her the old Nintendo Entertainment System. I loved that thing. Since there were not memory cards back then, I used to leave the game on pause and just turn off the television when I was heading out. Cool. rofl

They cheated themselves by making PC games and then making the same games for their Xboxes. Not a way to grab buyers. They should just leave quietly with their tails tucked. 3nodding

The Xbox 360 provides a good array of games, but that is only if you are interested in bloody gorey shoot 'em up types.
Now the Wii on the other hand provides moderately good games, but the best so far still seemss to be The Legend Of Zelda Twighlight Princess.
The Playstation 3 is kind of shitty. Nintendo expects to sell 2 Million Wii's, but Sony barely produces any at all. The graphics may be "amazing" but I have yet to see a game that fully utilizes that. Now the Blu-Ray is retarted. It costs a lot, and plays the same quality as some DVD player. It has a very small range of games so far, and Resistance Fall Of Man is the only thing keeping it alive. Now the PS3 is coming out with something called "Home." It is basically a rip off of Second Life, except you have to run to certain areas to look at certain things. It is dropping fast and I never thought it would live up to the PS2.
That is why I think the Wii is the best with it's fun innovative systems, creative ideas and coming soon, ONLINE PLAY!

I think at the moment Wii rocks because the entire concept is new
but then it will probably get old and people will want to play games wherethey can just sait and play with a controller..

You can sit and play the wii, too. Part of the novelty is getting up and being active, but the reality is that you can sit down and be lazy and play; just like regular games.
