Baku sighed while petting Entengo and looking up at the sky, frusterated. The Dark Axis was beat here, all that was left was to go to Lacroa and Ark and finally rid of their presence once and for all.

But until then, they had to wait for the opportunity.

He growled. "Damnit, what can I do right now to help Ark?!"

(Any SDs are fine. :3 Though of course the other characters won't know them, but that makes it interesting and fair. n.n Unless you make a thread specifically for one of the SD Gundam series like Sengoku. I'll add this to the read first ^^; )

"I...I made it..."

It had been a nerve-wracking journey, passing through the gateway only seconds ahead of his master's....

Retsumaru shook his head. He didn't want to think about his master's last moments, struck down by the traitor Tekkimaru. The chilling laugh as old Rekkamaru's Gunsoul was pulled out of his body, drawn into Tekkimaru's naginata.

"Bakunetsumaru. I have to find him!" Determined now, the young Musha Gundam started off in a random direction, the massive sword strapped to his back tearing a rather large furrow in the ground behind him. Surely, even in this strange land, a warrior of Bakunetsumaru's skill and renown would have made a name for himself.

-2 hours later

"No," Retsumaru explained patiently to the small group of police gundam surrounding him. "I've never heard of this Dark Axis. I'm just looking for Bakunetsumaru. No, this isn't a challenge. I mean, I would be honoured to learn from him, but now is not the time. Could you please let me go see him?"

"Oi, Bakunetsumaru!"

Leading a small group of police Gundams, Leonardo, assistant tot he mayor herself, approached the warrior. "Sorry to be interrupting you, but this stranger here says he knows you. Keeps calling you a great warrior. Uhh, not that you're not. You are, but he keeps saying it, so AUGH!"

That alst was from the diminutive Retsumaru fairly flinging the police gundam aside, running -over- Leonardo, and stopping in front of Bakunetsumaru, kneeling, head bowed, one fist planted firmly in the ground in front of him, the other crossed in front of his chest, palm open.

"Bakunetsumaru, at long last. Forgive my appearance, but I have come with terrible news. Please, I ask that you hear me out."

"Are you...are you really the great Bakunetsumaru? I've travelled so long...And the news I bring is grim...

--Ark, 2 weeks ago

The old Musha watched Retsumaru swing the wooden stick, carved in a rough approximation of the massive blade strapped to his back. "Easy, there, Retsumaru," Rekkamaru cautioned the younger musha. "Your swings are too rigid, your stance too firm. When using a massive blade, your body must become more flexible."

"What's the point," Retsumaru grumbled. "I can't even draw the blade, much less swing it."

"Give it time, lad." Rekkamaru stopped, looking around. "What is it now, Tekkimaru? Can't you see that I'm teaching someone?" A black and grey Musha Gundam appeared, sporting red armour on his shoulders and feet. "New look?"

"I've increased my power, old fool. Now die! SHADOW GLAIVE!"

"I...uhhrrr...!" Rekkamaru gasped as Tekkimaru's weapon appeared, firing a black bolt of lightning. The older Musha struggled. 'R...Retsumaru...!"

"Rekkamaru!" Retsumaru shouted as the old warrior was absorbed into the Shadow Glaive. "You....what have you done to him?"

Tekkimaru chuckled. "I have taken his power, boy. Now his gunsoul's power will be added to my own. I'd give you a demonstration, but you're not worth my time."

"You...I will never forgive you, Tekkimaru!" Retsumaru drew a small dagger, attached to the side of his scabbard, and made ready to charge.

"No, Retsumaru!" Appearing before him, Rekkamaru held his arms out. "You are not strong enough yet to defeat him! Escape, and fight him when you are stronger!"

"Get back in there," Tekkimaru snarled, drawing Rekkamaru's gunsoul back into the naginata. Distracted, he failed to spot Retsumaru leap forward and deliver a powerful slash to his face. "You'll pay, whelp!"

Retsumaru ignored him, running on as fast as he could.

Head bowed in shame, Retsumaru finished his story. "Tekkimaru has claimed that he will take the power of the Dai Shogun's gunsoul using the Shadow Glaive. I ask you to help me; all Ark is threatened by Tekkimaru's actions. As he takes gunsouls into his body, he gains in power." Retsumaru looks up, awaiting an answer.
