(( you all know the rules =P ))
Rahu was currently by himself or so someone watching him would say that. but thats if they couldn't hear him growling and snarlling at his familiar Ra who was up in a tree cawing a laugh at having tricked him into geting all wet. snarlling, Rahu glared up at the tree which Ra was perched in. " a nasty trick like that desurvies a punshment!!" stomping a hoof, he was beyond mad at having been raced right intothe lake next to him. again Ra only laughed. " oh lighten up, you needed to cool off dear Rahu."Shaking his head feriously, he shot a death glare at Ra, still wantign to wring the birds neck. it was liek one minute the bird was actualy tolerable then the next the blasted bird played a trick.

Today was unusual since, for once, Aruna had gotten Miakoda to get rid of all the green she usually wore these days, and now she was back to normal; her old, original, chocolate colored self. It really was odd to see herself like this, she thought, a smile wanting to appear on her muzzle. Flicking her impossibly long tail (well, it wasn't that long, but it was long). As she walked, her quick, sharp gold eyes spotted a very familiar stallion. She chuckled softly as she watched the scene unfold before her, and quietly trotted up to the two "bickering friends." Cocking her head, she then called out, "Rahu?"

Rahu's head snapped rather quickly to the direction he heard his name and blinked in surprise for a momen before giving a snort. " yes Aruna?" turnign aroudn so his head didn't have to be turned, he noticed a different look she had. it seemed she got rid of the green she had been wearing for a while. but he let that go for the moment as he glared at Ra once again before lookign back at Aruna.
Ra would have snickered if he could have adn swooped down right at Rahu before taking off on his way, causign Rahu to ahve to duck and growl at him.

"What? That's it? No 'hello', no 'hey, how are you'?" she asked, before her eyes followed Ra. "Since when did you get a hawk? Some kind of pet?" She asked this seriously, since she didn't realize that the hawk might be able to understand her. It was obviously laughing at him, but she held her expression in check; after all, Rahu didn't really need to know what she feeling, not that he really cared. All she felt at the moment was curiosity, truth be told. Gold eyes roved around, ears twitching carefully as she suddenly took an interest in her surroundings.

" when you said my name it sounded more liek your where askign if it realy was me so dont go huffy on me." Rahu rolled his eyes a bit and snorted. " don't ask about Ra, he follows me on his own when he feels." snorting again, he noticed she was more into loking aroudn than anythign which he did care. " now since i feel the need to ask, why are you here anyways?" truth be told he figured she would stick wit hher mate delano but it seemed sicne he had ran into her yet for the secodn time, her mate was no where to be seen with her.

"Oh, sorry." She shrugged and looked back from watching the scenery, sighing as she watched Rahu and his new... "friend"... And then came the question. "Huh? Oh. Just wandering around... Lano's off somewhere... he's nearby, and since I felt a little lonely, I just looked around for company." She spoke with a calm, impassive voice, as was her nature. She had returned mostly to herself now; an observing, quiet mare who had an expressionless face; how long had it been since she'd been herself, she wasn't quite sure.

Rahu raised a brow the shrugged. it seemed hse was basicly her old slef and looked it also. " i'm not the best to choose for company, never have been." he eyes gazed about, as he heard delano was near by. last they met, they faught and he lost to his annoyance. snorting, he was pretty much his old self but then there was still things to work out.

Aruna mentally laughed at Rahu's words and then looked at the sky. "It's weird to find you out here in the middle of the day; usually when I see you, we meet at night. And anyway, I'm more awake at night; it's just that, lately, I've been unable to sleep." She didn't care if Rahu didn't care what she talked about, and he seemed back to his old self from what she'd seen... the last time she saw him, they'd fought and argued until she'd finally gotten him to forgive her for whatever it was she did. She still wasn't really sure what the issue was, but it was a forgotten, unneeded memory.

" true enough and the only reason im up and about was to get a run before sleepig but that basted hawk got me to run into the lake." Rahu muttered the words about what Ra had done to him and really you could tell he was still a bit wet from what had happened. " i never really sleep at night anyways, too annoyign to run into alot of soquili in the day."

"I figured it had something to do with that... is he a hawk?" she said, watching the bird as it flew around Rahu. She hide a smile, and then looked over her shoulder across to her surroundings. She had been with Delano for so long it felt weird to not have him around. She knew she was independent, and definitely didn't need him, but somehow, she had changed. She wasn't sure if it was for the better, but she was her old self and at the same time, she wasn't. She was much less critical than she used to be, but was still as observant and sharp of tongue as ever. "I agree. It's better at night, with the stars and moon at your back... besides, the warmth of the sun makes anyone sleepy."

Ra perched back into the tree and kept silent, watching the two from his perch in the tree.
" yes he is a hawk.. an annoying one at that and hardly leaves me alone since he seems to think he was suppost to followme about."Rahu glared at Ra and snorted. really he hardly had anything to talk about to Aruna, specialy since he put everythign that happened between them in the back of his mind to forget. " it not the sun that keeps me to liking the night, i have always prefured the night for other reasons." snorting again, he went over to the shade of the tree.

Aruna wanted to roll her eyes at Rahu, but refrained from doing so. She knew he was a hawk, she had merely been asking a rhetorical question about Ra. At any rate... "I think it's quite sweet of him to think he has to take care of you," she said, an underlying tone of sarcasm edged into her words somewhere. "You've preferred the night for other reasons... how vague you are, dear Rahu," Aruna finished dryly, her golden eyes continued to look around at her surroundings. She was actually waiting for Delano to call her to his side, but he had yet to do so, and so she focused her attention on Rahu, for now.

Rahu blinked in surpise as she called him dear rahu. shaking his head, he gave a snort. " he hardly needs to and you know im vegue when i dont want to get into, but..." he let his sentance trail for a moment. " i think you shouldn't be calling me dear Rahu, Aruna." flicking his tail, her calling him dear rahu put him on edge for the fact it brought back old memories and he didn't need that. " and now i think i'll be going before anyone unneeded pops out of no where, dear Aruna." it was but a slip of a tounge when he said that and turned away leaving at a brisk run with Ra going right after him. it would be unknown yet if Rahu would pop up again.

She blinked, for once feeling like a naive fool as she couldn't quite comprehend just what it was Rahu was talking about. She held back a grin at Rahu's reaction, not catching that he had reacted more to her words 'dear Rahu' rather than her other words. And then he stated why he reacted, and her eyes widened slightly in surprise. "Um... I'm sorry?" she said, quite obviously confused. That was a first, especially since she was hardly ever confused around Rahu, who was indefinitely her best friend of all time, even though she half-hated him... but she felt that, these days, she didn't really hate him as she always claimed to, and could never really bring herself to say 'I hate you/him' to/about Rahu with full meaning. "Um... good bye, Rahu..." she said slowly, shock registering only minutes after 'dear Aruna' had truly gone through to her brain. Ears twitching, for she had heard her mate call out for her (finally), she flicked her tail with a finale, and trotted out across the area back to Delano.
