I'm probably going to AnimeNEXT summer of 2007 and I need help with the cosplay.
One of my friends is cosplaying as deidara (which she does very convincingly) and I don't know who to cosplay as! I want it to be someone from Naruto but I can't think of any brunettes!
Any suggestions? I look the same as my avvie

Ack!!! That is too awesome!! I'm going to AnimeNEXT too!! Oh my gosh, what a coincidence that somebody actually lives in NJ for once!! Like EVERYBODY on Gaia lives on the West Coast or something..
But damn, that means I won't be the only Deidara there.. and I'm sure your friend is gonna look amazing. I don't think I should cosplay. But I do hope to see you there though!!
And as for your question....if you could dye your hair, I'd say maybe Ino. But it's hard to say without a real picture- an avi can only look so much like a real life person after all...

You could be Itachi. Ebony is not a hard color to get if you have darker hair. Plus, it would pair well with your friend, and if you ever decided to do Deidara with a wig, you'd have a lovely uniform for it! heart
Alas, I fall under the majority that Aurora mentioned, and I live in the NW, so I won't be able to attend. But take pictures! I'm a huge cosplay enthusiast.

Man, I'm nowhere near any of the conventions, except the Renaissance Fair in Tennessee, and if I cosplay as Deidara there people will think I'm nuts sweatdrop

I wanted to cosplay as an Akatsuki member for AnimeExpo this summer, but i was too lazy to have to look on websites for the coat.
So i decided that i will be Shikamaru instead because i already have a Chuunin vest.
Kind of ironic. 8D

well,I dont know.I would of probably dyed my hair blonde, (if your hair isnt already) and try getting a hold of everything that deidara looks like and such.I really dont know sweatdrop I think I would of gone a wee overboard just to look like him rofl

I don't live anywhere NEAR where anime conventions are held. And there is no way my dad is going to drive me all the way down to Texas or something for that.
I wouldn't be able to cosplay as an actual Naruto character without a wig. And I hate wigs. They're itchy. Dx
