Haha. I love how this discussion turned into a separate thread. Though maybe this should go as a general topic in the main forums? It kinda applies to all the series', and the videogames.
Well, we already know that I prefer the Japanese, at least. ^.^
As for subtitles, they make life a lot easier, but I can get some of it watching RAW's. Enough to know whats going on, at least. XD

if i could understand japanese, life would be so much happier. emo but sadly, there are good qualities to both english and japanese voices... though since subtitles are cheating, and i hate reading them anyways cause i'm a slow reader, english comes first.

I'm legally blind, so English is the one for me. If I could actually read subtitles as fast as fully sighted people, I would have no problem with Japanese. So, until they have a cure for my disease, or I learn to speak Japanese, I'm sticking with English as much as possible.

I prefer Japanese this is because the English ones usually use god awful voiceovers for it which often dont even suit the character. Ive been watching anime for many years now and I watch ost of it in Japanese cuz it doesnt get aired where I live. Although I have to admit that sometimes the Japanese voices are bad too but this happens alot less. I partially understand the Japanese but most of it I get from the subtitles.

I prefer the japanese version over the english version. Mainly because the japanese version was the first one I've seen so I got use to the voices and stuff. I've heard that at the beginning of the english dub, it sounded as if the dubs were pretty bad, recently I've heard they've been improving. I'm pretty dissapointed they took out Ovan's plant puns, now he makes no sense.
