I just think it'd be really cool if we could hear each other sing. I know a couple people put up performances for us to listen to/watch, but I know I'd love it to be able to share just my voice and hear just others.
If you're not shy to sing (and have a computer mic :p)(I got mine for like, 6 bucks at Radio Shack) then I have YIM (stalkingpaparazzi) or MSN (paranoid_angel312@msn.com) and it'd be super cool to talk to you some of you one on one and get to share singing talents.

I've got one, and I have Yahoo, but I currently have an awful head cold, and though I can sing, I can't really hear myself sweatdrop Perhaps in a week or so?
And I'm glad I'm not the only one with this idea! I wanted to make a thread for this, actually, but your way works a little better. biggrin

awesome! I like hearing other people sing. ^^ It's great!
Also, as soon as I find a decent sound program that's free to download, I'll post up a link for you guys too. I used to have one, but I got rid of it due to it losing its free trial sad But everyone should have one. They're oh-so convenient. Especially when matching up acoustic tracks with regular tracks (Which sounds insanely awesome!!!) and such.
and letting the world hear how pretty you are with weekly podcasts!! razz .... speaking of which, I should probably start my own podcast soon. That'd be insanely awesome..
I'll stop talking to myself now ^^;;

Hmn.. for the Audacity thing.. how would you rate the program in terms of usefulness, comprehensibility, and overall pleasantness to use?
I'm sometimes rather picky about what programs I use :p

as for audacity: it works quite nicely and exports to .wav without any external thingies. Exporting to mp3 seems more complicated, but once you download lame and tell it where to look for the .dll it's fine, never have to worry about it again.
As for which website, I use putfile a lot, not sure what esnips is like.

Well, I gave it a try and I seem to like it. Now, if only I can find something that makes my voice sound decent enough to share with you guys... >.< and sync up some music with it or something.

I LOVE MULAN AND THAT SONG!!!! i would love to have the sheet music. ^^
