I liked Ohayocon this year, as I have every year. It was my first time on Ohayocon Staff, and getting to meet new staff, and see old friends was great.

There were awsome cosplays!
(Sorry I was on cosplay Staff, so yeah..lol) Thanks to everyone who participated.

To everyone I roomed with, thanks, it was fun.

Umm, right now I am still at a lack of sleep due to not being able to sleep last night. (Songs, and the con running through my head, plus coughing a lot last night.) Hopefully I will get a good ammount of sleep tomarrow since the Ohio State Buckeyes game is tonight. Go Bucks!

ummm as for the elevators, thanks to all who didn't break them. ^_~
Thanks to every9one who didn't damage anything. (Including the stairwells, although somone had put a small hole in one of the lower ones, I noticed walking to the 5th floor, from the 1st on friday.)

I hope everyone had fun!

I couldn't decide what was worse, the ridiculously crowded elevators or the creaky stairs that people were stampeding down.

Mostly, I pushed my claustrophobia aside and shoved my face into either my boyfriend's chest or my big gay friend's chest and pretended that I wasn't in an overpacked elevator full of con funk XD

The biggest thing that happened to me in the con was when I joined the congo lines. We got broken up twice by security and threatened to take our congo to city hall. It was hilarious when we met Jesus. "Look! The ashes do not fall!"

Eh... Ohayocon seemed kinda slow this year. To be honest, im most excited for Anime Punch.
At the dance, did anybody see a slutty Link? That was me. ^^

This was the worse Ohayo Con ever. I highly doubt I will go back. I know I'm not doing artist alley again next year that's for sure. This year was so unorganized, the dealer's room/main programming was a mess and because of that the artist got completely jipped off. And they stopped the line for tthe masq. in front of my table, blocking it so others couldn't get to it.

The program guide was a joke. It use to better and colored. The registration, wtf? I'm glad I was a panelist, other wise I would of been pissed to non-believe. And the information gophers didn't know crap either.

I'm just very fustrated overall with this convention. Usually Ohayo Con is my favorite, it was my most disappointing convention ever.

It was a little slow this year. What was with the dealers room this year. I mean it seemed so cramped than it was last year.

Good thing. I got to see two of my old friends from the collosolcon there and made some new ones.

If you saw a songstress Yuna of black haired Winry that was me.

For the program guides:
The person who made those, died after Ohayocon 2006. True it is not a proper excuse, but someone did get "thrown" into it. I know there were deadline issues, with getting everything in on time this year.
(Lack of time finding someone, lack of experiance, and and lack of information submitted for the program guides, created what everyone got.)

I was very unhappy about the program guides, but I have talked to some staff members who were also upset about them, and never want those kind back again.

Dealers room:
2 weeks before Ohayocon was to start we lost a huge protion of the convention center.(to another convention)

Therefore everything was changed around. (Although I do hope next year we go back to the setup for 2006, rather than 2007's set-up.)

Lets put it this way, if you had gone through losing half the convention staff in 2005's summer, and started with alot of new staffers in 2006, you would be hurting.(not to mention certain things which Ohayocon had a lack of, thus causing the badges they had for 2006.) Now take those new staff members, and old put togehter. Drop off a few key "seasoned" staff members, add many more new staff members, a quick change to everything, new department heads for a lot of departments, then a lack of "at con staff" In addition add a death of a great staff memeber, who held many things together, and had many close friends on staff. Add in the morning period, holidays, other conventions, troubles from previous years, "Issues I can't talk about", and a bunch of sick people, and you have Ohayocon 2007.
I know it doesn't mean much, but basically all staff members know this year wasn't a good year, and currently everyone is getting things prepared for meeting for the 2008 Ohayocon. Many, to all staff memebers are reading over what everyone has to say, and they want to prevent these same things from happening again.

Remember how there were a lot of huge holes in the stairwells of the Hyatt last year, well this year, there was only one small one made.
It got blocked off, and everything.
So Ohayocon does take in things you say, and try to turn what you say around for future conventions.

I hope that in 2008 everyone might give Ohayocon a second chance.

This all depends on the jobs I manage to get, and the money I save up, but I definately will try to give it another chance next year. ^^. I mean, Sugoi05 was lacking, but I still went back in 06 and I was pleasently surprised.

With all the stuff that ended up happening, now that it's been explained, the disorganization makes sense, and I'm not going to count that all against the con in the long run ^^. Though, I think Sugoi and AP are going to be of a higher priority next year, just because they're smaller cons and I think I like the smaller stuff better.

Crowds get to me sometimes x.x
