Keegan felt his eyes narrow and his lips lift to bare his teeth to the elements. The cold whipped through his coat tenaciously. He snarled audibly and lowered his head, acid green orbs bright with vengence. He knew what his purpose was now. He had to create a pack, then take his revenge upon the vampires. That one had killed Garthon, and he would never forget his scent. Even if it took him forever to kill that loathsome creature, he chuckled mirthlessly, he had eternity.
He lifted his head suddenly and howled, the song caressing the tops of trees and the lands around him. His eyes were closed as he expressed his sorrow, anger, frustration, and passion. His pack line had a history of being vicious, so now, all he had to do was raise an army of killers. That ought to be easy.

A small light appears near a tree, catching no ones attention. A small child walks around the tree trunk, watching the wolf as he howled. He seems to just watch, with his head covered by a cloak, and a jacket around him as he stays warm in the winter snow.

Keegan sat upon his haunches, his anger gone. What replaced his fury was the anguish that he knew would come eventually. He had no one left. Gart had been akin to his father, and Keegan would never forget that. He suddenly stopped as he thought for a moment.
There are other packs here, other than just mine. His eyes widened with realization. He could ask them all if they would like to help with his war. After all, the lycan thirst for blood wasn't something that one could override. A malicious grin overcame his mouth, twisting it into a smirk that belittled the most evil of expressions.

Keegan's fur upon his back bristled as he thought he felt someone behind him. He then trotted down the knoll and headed towards the town.
-----
Elranth watched the pup go with a slight humor. He had noticed Tesunie, and he thought it full of foresight that the guardian had chosen this one. He seemed to be full of fire, and Elranth judged that could either be good for his case, or not. He turned, his form that of a transparent wolf, and he began trotting away, towards the other packs.

Myser could be seen leaning against a tree playing his favourite instrument, a guitar. "Greetings Keegan. How are you this fine evening?"

Keegan stopped in his tracks and looked at Myser. A grin touched his canine lips, lifting them and exposing his pearly teeth. The Alpha looked at his Beta with amusement. He then shifted himself to human form.
"Pleasantly occupied, and yourself?"

Myser seemed to be in a sadisticly gleeful mood. "Just escaped from the pound." He chuckled a bit and began to pick at his bloodied teeth.

"Had fun with a guard did we? I sure hope you kept entertained..." Keegan let his sentance trail off as he looked at the wolf before him. He shook his head, and a grin touched his lips, drawing one side of his mouth up crookedly.
"Anyway, I have a job for both of us. We need more pack members, and the vampires outnumber us at least 3:1. That's if I'm hoping strongly anyway. Any ideas?"

"Why do you even worry? We know how to kill them. Maybe hide in a mansion owned by either one of us. If we don't invite them in, they become vulnerable to things that would kill or weaken them and their powers fade away. Either that or stay on the other side of a bridge across a river and snipe at them with projectiles." Myser began to breath again after his fairly large onsluaght of words.

Keegan chuckled darkly. "You're quite naiive. Just because we don't let them in our doorway, doesn't mean they can't come in through a window. Vampires are like us, human at one point, and they are also intelligent. They'll find any loopholes possible."
The lycan then dropped to the ground and sat, setting his arms upon his knees. He then closed his eyes and rested his forehead on his forearm. "I suppose we do need to find a house, or some sort of permanent residence. You and I shall build it up and fortify it against intrusion of any sort."
Keegan looked up at Myser. "Sound like a plan?"

"Sure does." he said as he raised his arm in a gesture. " We just need to make the windows small so they can't get through." He jumps into a tree and lands on a branch. "I think I know a place we can go that the vampires cannot. It's north of here accually."

The strange creature looks around the tree, observing the two lycans, while he himself go unnoticed except to others of his kind.
He giggles with glee at the lycans plans. It was fun to spy on others, even better when they couldn't see or hear him easily. These Lycan are smarter than thought. I wonder how well they will do against the vampires? We had best not test this yet... His eyes puzzle through the possibilities, as well as what he could do to guide them to their true goal.

The small child floats up into the tree, no longer hiding behind it, but up in the branches. He still keeps out of view, keeping the tree's trunk between himself and his charges.
I need to be weary of that one it seems. He is more aware of his surroundings than I thought. I don't want them to know I am here yet.
