Years back, before i was even born, my grandad found an abandoned doll on a train.
He decided to bring it home with him (smart move that), and kept it in a spare room.
He intended for it to be played with by my mum and aunt, but they didn't like it (for obvious reasons).
Then, a few years ago, my grandmother showed it to me and my cousin, we must have been aout five at the time.
Anyhoo, we thought it was creepy but cool, but it seemed really unnerving like it was watching everything we did.
I was too young to realise the creepiness of what it said when it's cord was pulled, but i was reminded about it a few months ago, it scared me big time.
It used to say things like;
"I lost my head over you"
or
"My feet are coming closer"
and sometimes
"Here comes my body",

Wierdest of all though, it would sometimes say;

"goat" confused

When me and my cousin looked for the creepy doll, we couldn't find it.
It had literally dissapeared.

All I know is if the doll really was possessed or in some way satanic, goat could stand for Baphomet.

baphomet isn't a satanic figure.
I don't know what he stands for, but he isn't necesserily evil

"Goat"? xD I would have loved to meet your dolly. <3
I'm pretty good with stuffy's and dolls. I've had my pink bunbun for over 11years now. He's not possed or anthing but since I love him so much and have had him so long, he's probably got a good amount of my Magick in him just from the love and his being my best friend and probably most prized possesion.

That's really scary... I don't like dolls much at all.

Your story reminds me a little of my own experience with a seemingly "haunted doll." It was my doll and I hated it. I got it as a birthday gift when I was five and it was one of those dolls that open and close their eyes depending on the position they're in (horizontal or leaning back its eyes shut and upright or leaning forward its eyes are open). I was a little freaked by it so I put it on a rocking chair in the corner of my room and never played with it.

Weird thing is that at night sometimes it would rock back and forth and the eyes would open and shut. It gave me nightmares and every time I had a nightmare about the doll and woke up scared it was rocking in the chair and would stop abruptly. Mind you, I don't sleep with my windows open so there was no breeze and this only happened when I had nightmares about the doll.

I attempted to play with it once because my great-aunt who had given it to me loved that doll and was old and ill. I felt guilty for ignoring it. I had a tea-party with my cousins which lasted no more than five seconds because we were scared because it seemed like it was "watching me"; I know that sounds cliché but it's eyes were really creepy for us at the time (we were like six?). We faced the doll and rocking chair toward the wall (so it wouldn't see us rofl ) and for years it was ignored and when I was about nine it was stuffed into my closet.

Just two years ago I remembered it and wondered what had become of it. It disappeared. I asked everyone in my house and nobody knew where it was. We checked everywhere.

It was supposed to be in the closet... but it's gone and I'm glad! But sadly, since it's disappearance my great-aunt has gotten even weaker and more sickly.

I hate dolls with a passion. I can't stand them. When my grandma died she left one of her dolls to me and one to my sister. I couldn't stand having mine in my room. It scaried the hell out of me.

There use to be a story about a doll that a girl at my school loved to tell during our ghost telling lunchtime breaks. This is NOT a true story (at least i hope it's not) but i'm not sure where my friend heard it. She may have made it up. But it alway scaried me.

It was about a girl that got given a doll but didn't like it so put it in the cupboard under the stairs. Not long after that she would heard things on the stairs, then one night she heard a voice saying 'I'm on the first step.' The next night she heard someone say 'I'm on the second step'. Night after night she heard this voice getting closer. Finally the voice said 'I'm here.' The next morning the girl was found dead in her bed. Her mother thought that it would make the girl happy to but buired with the doll so they would never be parted since the girl died with it in her arms.

I personally blame this story for my hatered of doll.

Dolls are weird and can be pretty creepy.

There's this really old and famous doll named Robert that lives in a museum down in Florida. I'm guessing some of you have heard the story behind this doll...

I girl I knew in elementary had a story. Actually her dad knew the story but people said he was shaking when he told it. They locked away the doll in a chest and it got out at night. Then the next day they found their cats head in front of the front door and they couldn't find it I don't think. I don't know if it's true or not but I also think there's more to it but I just forgot. It had a creepy name too. They got the doll from a magic shop.

Oh, I have heard about Robert....he creeps me out sooo much. I would watch the doctumentries on him and it freaked me out, lol. My uncle almost moved to Key West, FL but he never did. If he would have moved there and we visited I probably would have ended up visiting the museum and seen him. In a way I'm glad we didnt go, lol. I probably would have had nightmares. whee

He's depicted in a lot of art as a satanic figure.
I think the media has made him more into one.
Either way its still a similarity.

I have also seen documentaries of him on television and they are creepy. The fact that people feel that his eyes are following him and I think he's even moved before.
