~*Creatures and Monsters*~
What good is a fantasy land without its own creatures? Here are a few that we've made up! Post your own ideas in the thread!
Revenant- Basically, Zombies, but instead of rotting, they're still human and heal.
Blodighofi- A race of horse-like creatures with fire for hair, and the ability to conjure and breathe fire.
Jessio- A docile bird that is considered evil by many because of it's red and black feathers. In rare cases, "Albino" Jessios are born, with gold and silver feathers. These birds main habitats are Lagorta and the Korellian Forest.
Ratix- A camel-like animal that was domesticated by the Hrendians.
Fire Elves- small evil looking critters that when they land on you they burn and if left on you long enough could burn a hole clear through you. They look like Tinkerbell but evil and red.
Blue Fairies- also small but are not evil except sometimes they pull out humanoid hair to use for nest building. Look like Fire Elves but nicer and blue. Usually live near water
Lokk- an animal with football shaped head, a small body, and instead of feet long claws. Are camoflauged and like to jump out at unwary travelers to eat them. Adult size is 2 feet tall. They travel in packs.
Brownie- Furry cat-like animal, but with near human intelligence. They love mushrooms.
Hammelhorn- An extremely fat cow looking animal with curly horns, and fur that when rubbed the wrond direction stiffens, and the stiffened parts stab into your skin.
Prowlgrin- A yellow frog-like creature that is extremely large and is used for a horse. They are extremely loyal and nimble.
Banderbear- A bear with huge upward tusks. They live alone and are hebivores. They are extremely intelligent and if you are traveling with them they will show you what to eat and what not to eat. They only rise to anger when someone they love is in danger.
Muglump- A fat 6-legged animal, with a swollen belly, a long, whiplash tail, and 3 sharp claws on each foot.
Ratbird- a small bird with a head that looks like a rat head. They travel in flocks of about a hundred. They live in skyships and only leave the ship if it's about to be destroyed.
Gnomes- Small creatures related to giants with some magical capabilties ( different species, Ice, Fire, Earth, Wind, Light, Dark, Water and Electricity)
