Why LeeSaku?
The question on many people's mind. Why not SasuSaku? In my opinion LeeSaku is completely different than SasuSaku. SasuSaku is cannon while LeeSaku is crack.
In the beginning of the series, Sakura and many other girls in the academy were head over heels in love with the brooding young Uchiha avenger Uchiha Sasuke. They would fight over who would sit next to him and Sakura as well as Ino hoped that one day the cold silent boy would return their affection.
When Sakura was chosen to be on Team 7 with her beloved Sasuke she was overjoyed. As the series continues on and on Sakura tries very hard to get Sasuke to notice her but yet he doesn't.
During the begining to the written test of the Chunin exams she meets the youthful soul Rock Lee. As soon as he sees her, he automatically likes her and asks her out. But she turns him down. Even though she turned him down Lee makes a promise to protect her whenever she needed it. Of course she doesn't buy it. And registers him as loser.But after his battle with Sasuke she realized how strong he really is.
When Sasuke and Naruto passed out in the Forest of Death and Sakura was left alone. Lee steps in and helps her. He kept his promise to her. Sakura realizes how much she cares for him when Lee battles Gaara.
Later on she visits him in the hospital and places flowers in a vase for him.
In my opinion Sakura should go for Lee. He always noticed her and was there for her. Sasuke never really cared much for her. Lee on the other hand noticed her. And kept his promise to protect her. So sweet! heart

Nice job! I really like this thread. I gotta say; the main picture of the two by the top is just so cute to me. 4laugh Anyhoo, SakuLee is a very nice pairing, and it works better than SasuSaku. LeeSaku seems like a much cuter, and much fluffier pairing than that. ^_^ Anyways, very nice thread and pairing.
