With Cellen, Nix, and the small pups asleep, Reno had managed to slip away from the small den and was off yet again to wander within the seclusion of nights shadows and away from those he did not want to learn of his powers or the new identitiy he was taking on. Like those before him and now among the rare, Reno was blessed with the gifts of a Shaman yet he still yearned to perfect them and learn from those around him who also were blessed with the arts of the Shaman.
Slowly padding through the brush and upon a winding trail that followed the course of a small river, Reno aimbled as his ocher orbs were searching for something, anything but he didn't know what as only his paws seemed to drag him in an unknown direction and, willingly, he followed.
The soft sounds of the river babbling and streaming along brought comfort. His mind seemed to wander yet again in thought, thinking that everything had a voice and, curiously, he wished that he could listen to what the waters spoke of.
Did they know his powers too?
It was a silly thought but the young adult had seemed to question and put everything in a new pespective.
"The waters have their secrets and Reno has his own," he nodded with a hushed voice. "Reno is a Shaman and Reno wants to understand his powers. If only Reno could know their secrets and those of the woods," he mused with a smile.

His son would take after his namesake wouldn't he? It explained why Rio and Marco were out so late while the girls and his brother slept on (much to the tired shaman's envy). Still, it was this or run the risk of Marco waking the rest of the family up.
The two had been engaged in a game of hide and seek, or Ditch, since the darkness made searching an actual challenge, when one had to rely on their noses and ears, and not their eyes. That would explain why all was quiet as Reno approached.
Rio was currently seeking, ocassionally having to give the water a mental shush as the hyper-active babbling creek continued speaking in his mind. His son was actually quite good at staying silent when it benifitted him to do so. And it was hard to focus when he had a second voice in his head! Then there came a third. Ironically enough the river had been trying to warn him of such, but he didn't catch it until he heard Reno speak.
The Channeler lifted his head and turned to face the other, brown eyes glowing almost yellow in the dark of the moonlight.
"You're a shaman, too?"

Reno froze in his step as the voice of an unfamiliar called out, startling him and causing him to bite down on his lower lip. His white, tattered ears fell against his skull as his checkered tail sought to tuck under his stomach but a sudden feeling of trust and comfort seemed to wash over him. Somehow the young Shaman in training felt as if he could trust the foreign wolf before him.
From his tense posture, the tainted one winged wolf loosened up and nodded as a warm, friendly smile slid across his maw. "Yes. Reno is a Shaman but he is still training. Reno still is trying to perfect his powers and learn how to use them."
From the first time he realized what his potential was and his journey that he was to endure, Reno had been able to control his body from shaking as the power surging within him and his abilities were all too visible and it was hard not to notice that something was very, very different about him. Now, the young adult had learned how to heal and how exactly it had affected him and his perception at discerning was increasing to an acute level. Nevertheless, he still had much to experience before he could really apply everything he had learned.
he tilted his head slightly, ocher orbs gazing upon the other male with curiosity.
"And you are a Shaman too?"
