Okay, so I just received an invitation to this guild which I am thankful for biggrin and decided to start off membership by contributing my own thread to the guild. I'm so terribly sorry if this topic has already been discussed elsewhere in the guild. I searched but found nothing so started my own. If this has already been discussed it may be deleted.

Anywhooz, a few years ago on Ebay sweatdrop ...as many of these tales start xp , a strangely eerie painting was put up for auction. The owner claimed it was demonic and sought to rid herself of it in the best and most modern way possible-- Ebay! For the whole story and creepy pictures of the painting, click here!

Supposedly just viewing it effects certain people in different ways and so there's a warning: "The reactions to viewing the painting are varied and strange, people report of feeling ill and passing out, having strange visitors in the night, children crying in horror when seeing the pictures and some people are even too afraid to look at the pictures."

I didn't notice the warning until after I finished viewing all the pics. Nothing much happened to me except for a feeling of unease and discomfort caused mostly by that creepy doll; dolls like that make me cringe. Other than that, I can't say I experienced any of those side-effects mentioned in the warning.

View it yourselves and check out the story to decide if it's a hoax or not. Seems to me that it is likely to be hoax but the painting, haunted or not, gives off some freaky vibes.

Is it just a viewing of the actual painting that makes that crazy shiz happen? I saw it on some site and it made me feel really uncomfortable. It might be the same sight you posted but there's no way in hell I want to go find out. xD I think dolls are really creepy too!

I guess people are just different than me. I like freaky dolls. They amuse me. If i could id have the weird dolls with the dark empty eyes that look like they are looking deep inside you and trying to steal your soul! Id like to own something haunted besides the few items in my house that i already find haunting and weird.

Yeah, I wouldn't suggest viewing it at night. When I first saw it, it was still light out (like 4:30ish) two years ago and I was pretty creeped out. I scrolled really really fast because there were so many pics, each freakier than the other and they focus so much on that doll!!!! whee

I think I had my first nightmare that night lolz. Really... but that's because I get scared kinda easily but strangely enough, I love being scared eek . Anyway, if you're scared quite easily like I am, I don't recommend checking it out at midnight whee .

I am NOT looking at the painting until after dark sweatdrop . I think that haunted painting stories-fake or real-are interesting.

(unless it's the classic "Scooby Doo" Oh-My-God-The-Eyes-are-Following-me scenario xd )

hmmm interesting...very vexing and creepy.....its like a doll that we were messing with at a resale shop....it had only one eye and hair chopped to abyss.....we kept moving it around and turning off lights......it was real spooky.....it was yet another milestone to here and beyond....

For what I am, and what those around me are, this is a first, really.

Just, don't. If this was in one of my other guilds I would be talking to the other mods and leaders about deleting the thread.

Its just wrong. Seriously. And I've never said that before, or been as sure.

I do live in my own world to start with. And there seems to be alot of people who live in it too, relatively.

And going into detail would require pissing off twenty people I know to fill in missing parts of a dozen life stories.

Long story short, if you knew me, you'd be surprised I'm acting this way.
