Daimyn had brought Choa along for a hunting trip, but she'd made it as far as the waterhole before getting bored and going off on her own. Daimyn didn't mind particularly; he'd probably bring something down quicker without his daughter by his side, but he made a mental note; either he or Ausi'Juu needed to start actual hunting lessons soon. Choa's (and the rest of his and Ausi's litter's) attempts at grasshoppers and butterflies were getting more and more successful.
He couldn't help but worry for his children, especially after what had nearly happened to Xu, but by his reasoning, they couldn't lock them up in the den until adulthood. They had to learn to take care of themselves early on.
Choa, for her part, didn't know where she was going, or even really cared. The events of the past few weeks left her feeling confused; Mufasa had died, a king she'd never known but always heard of, and she could sense the mourning from both parents, however much they tried to hide it.
Really, all she wanted now was to let her mind and body wander, and she did her best to leave all her home problems precisely where they belonged -- at home.

Turquoise eyes surveyed the rather new surroundings, slitted just slightly against the bright afternoon sun. The maned wolf had found himself wandering into a new territory altogether. He found he rather liked the look of it, it was unusually hilly, the grass growing taller than his shoulders in some areas, most different from the wide savanah he'd wandered in from. And not too far off, a great, unusual rock formation. Despite the lushness of the land, Tobari wasn't too eager to venture in further, slightly nervous over the lion scent he constantly picked up.
Not that lions bothered him at all, but not all were that friendly. Better play it safe than end up dead. Though, those thoughts were particularly on his mind for the moment, as he was focused on something else that was almost of equal importance. The canine had not fed for the past day, and it was time to find something again. And so he wandered about through the lush green grass, ears perked, on the lookout for any small creature that could provide a meal...
