Was I the only one who thought she was just a little too OTT? I didn't realy enjoy that episode much, I just thought Catherine Tate was a little out of place.
It was a strange way to start the series anyway.
Anyone else agree with me? Or is everyone Catherine Tate fans? xD

Personally I thought she wasn't that bad! And I hate her sketch show, so I was a bit concerned that I wouldn't enjoy her role in Doctor Who, but I think that her character of Donna was exactly what the Docotr needed to stop him dwelling on the loss of Rose.
I've probably ended up contradicting myself, but it's a girl's prerogative to change her mind! biggrin

I think Catherine was fantastic on the show! Prevented the Doctor from being a total emo mess throughout the entire ep.

She was pretty entertaining, I have too say. It was just a bit odd to have her in Doctor Who. xD

She was a bit annoying. It ended up being a good thing, though, because otherwise the Doctor would be emo the entire time. She seemed kind of harsh, though, when she told him "This friend of yours, did she trust you?"

I think it was cleverly scripted so she could get a few of her Sketch Show's characters out.
(The what bit and the shouting were from Lauren's thing for example)
