Team Gai, Team Asuma, and Team 7 have all already been focused on in the past and current arcs of the timeskip. So.....all that's left is Team Kurenai. ^^ I'm guessing that the next arc is going to focus on Team 8. And if that's going to happen, there's probably going to be more Naruto-Hinata interaction, right? wink
So......do you think that there are going to be be future NaruHina moments in the next arc?

What happens in the next arc? I shall tell you..
A single, simple interaction shall set into motion a chain of events that shall bring two young ninjas together, bring about the return of an old friend, and the destruction of one of the lands greatest threats... I'm just not sure how. mrgreen

I don't know about them having a mission alone. With both their teams, maybe. X3
I was thinking about a random scene that I came up with......where Jiraiya is talking to Hinata about Naruto. And she becomes a bit depressed and starts to say things like "I want to help him. I wanted to help him....since he has already helped me so much. But now, he has Sakura-san, Kakashi-sensei, Sasuke-san, and Iruka-sensei.....And though I'm really happy that he's found people who are important to him, at the same time I feel so bad that I couldn't do anything for him myself. I wanted to give....something that only I can give.....but now, he doesn't need me. And he never will." Or something like that. sweatdrop
....Meh. That's not really manga material to me. That seems more like fanfiction material, don't you think? ^^;; Ah, well.

I have a feeling he would do most of the talking though, without Hinata saying much. Actually, that sort of seems like something she would be thinking rather than saying out loud. Maybe she would think it before Jiraiya stepped in and gave her a little help.
I would LOOOOVE to see Naruto go on a mission with Hinata in the timeskip with their teams. I think that would really help the situation. Maybe they could finally talk something out. (I'm looking for some drama, here. Can ya tell?)
I think the next arc might take a break from all the action and focus more on the characters themselves. Maybe a little reflection time. But I'd really like to see a mission with Naruto and Hinata both.

And I can totally see Team 7 and Team 8 going on a mission together.
I can also see Kurenai still moping about Asuma, which then somehow leads to referring about Hinata's feelings for Naruto...

Pfft.
I think its known quite well that Team 8 pretty much revolves around Hinata's feelings for Naruto, its on why I think Shino wasn't included on the Sasuke Retrieval ARK and also why if Kishimoto is going to make NaruSaku happen he might as well kill off Team Kurenai. >_o

I have been hoping for a while that we would get a scene with Hinata and Kurenai (since we haven't seen Kurenai since the Asuma incident), and Hinata's helping her and stuff and Kurenai going and saying:
Kurenai: Hinata... if there is someone you love... it's best to let them know sooner as opposed to later. You never know when you may lose them.
Hinata: Kurenai-sensei...
Kurenai: Don't let them slip through your fingers like I have.
Hinata: *remembers Naruto*
*squees insanely*

You'd think someone would do SOMETHING after seeing Hinata act like this for so long! Especially Kurenai! I'd be worried about my student if she acted like Hinata... Maybe everyone's afraid to say something. eek

WHOA WHOA WHOA! You're making me think that you think the only point of Hinata is to be a love interest for Naruto, when they've had less than two hours of interraction and their relationship is currently based off of admiration. Hinata is much more important than that.
She helped Neji grow up - she literally taught him that yes, you can be strong, and that fate does not mean everything. (Yes, I know, Naruto helped.)
Team Eight really doesn't revolve around Naruto Uzumaki. That's a lie. Team Seven revolves around Naruto. All of the teams, techniquly, revolve around 'Naruto', if you get what I'm saying. I can't help but feel like you're under-estimating Hinata, and making her something she's not - wouldn't making NaruSaku happen actually be helping Hinata's character development? It'd give her a chance to see different people, and get stronger emotions.
But this is all a matter of opinion. I just was surprised you'd make Hinata out to be that way. (Even if you weren't trying...That's how it looked to me. =/)
