So what are these Ree comics about anyway?
It began on a dark and stormy night.....
Nah, I'm kidding.
XD
Back in late 2004, quite bored and unsure of how to cure it at the time, I began to doodle a silly, yet accurate version of myself. During the moments that I was drawing, I was feeling a bit low; my self-esteem not on it's usual cheerful high. Being on the chubby side a large majority of my life, lead my pencil to draw the over weight, unattractive girl that I dubbed after myself.
After redrawing the girl a few more times, I began to grow more amused at the figure before me, instead of repulsed. I needed a name for her--this version of myself that I despised, yet loved so very much at the same time.
Ree.
It suck as soon as I though of it and it would be the only nickname I would ever really consider for myself. Andrea is a hard name to shorten and "Andy" is something you should never call me.
Unless you want to make me cry.
After establishing a name for the Ree character I began to draw a few badly drawn comics that brutally made fun of/tortured the main character. However, despite the initial intention of making fun of myself, the comics became down right hysterical! Soon after a made two or three, I began to take real life situations and poke fun at them. Each comic became more and more funny as time passed on.
In Short:
(In case you either didn't want to read the above or didn't understand what I just said.)
My Ree Comics are about Ree, the main character modeled after a melodramatic version of myself and the real life situations that have happened to me.
Tis a very funny thing indeed!

Introducing....Well here it is! The cast of characters so you won't be lost!

Ree:
The alter-ego of myself.
The depressed/chubby main character of the comics. Hair length and weight vary with each comic.
Number of appearances in every comic/filler: 19/19
No Name:
The alter-ego of my current ex (and then boyfriend), Eric. Ree's adorably cute, ditzy and "in-need-of-anger-management-seeking" best friend, who loves her.
Number of appearances in every comic/filler: 17/19
Misery:
The alter-ego of my bad/negative side. Ree's abusive, deprecating cousin. Hair is subject to change each comic.
Number of appearances in every comic/filler: 4/19
What Its Name:
The alter-ego of Eric's "good"/"positive" side. No Name's homicidal twin brother. Love's Misery.
Number of appearances in every comic/filler: 0/19
Serenity:
The alter-ego of my good/positive side. Misery's twin sister and Ree's supporter.
Number of appearances in every comic/filler: 0/19
I don't have a name for him yet!! D:
The alter-ego of Eric's bad/negative side. Boyfriend of Serenity. Cousin of What Its Name and No Name. Completely homicidal, suicidal and deranged.
Number of appearances in every comic/filler: 0/19
Hasaname:
The alter-ego of my Gaia friend Bryant. The eccentrically funny, yet A.D.D. prone young man obsessed with Ree. Is stuck in a love triangle between himself, Ree and No Name.
Number of appearances in every comic/filler: 1/19
The conscience of Hasaname. They are only seen by him, making Hasaname look even crazier then he usually is.
Number of appearances in every comic/filler: 0/19 Cameos
Priscilla:
Priscilla is an original character made from the combination of both me and Eric. She if from an original combination story titled "Nightmare's Syndrome" and only appears in the first comic. I drew her with Ree before I even knew I'd be making a Ree Comic series.
Kim:
Kim is an original character created by Eric from another original combination story called "Elementals". An androgynous girly looking boy with a unisex name, Kim in the one appearance he makes, is forced to cross dress as a girl.
Kagari and Kamira:
The two children you see above are dressed as Kagari and Kamira in my Halloween comic. Kagari is an original character by Eric, while Kamira is an original character of my own. They are both from the story "Nightmare's Syndrome".

Notes: Hehe, I love how No-Nome describes roller coasters. I really hate them. Eric gave me such a huge lecture on how, I not going on roller coasters, was making me miss all of lifes opportunities. He seems to forget that I'm not missing anything, if I don't like what I'm doing in the first place...... >.<

Notes: Yes, Eric did "hit" me. And NO! Put that chair down! It's not what you think. He DID NOT hit me they way I drew it in the comic. I over exaggerated because of frustration/depression. He was going through this "everyone is equal" phase. Basically you hit me, I hit you. I used to play hit him. Slap him lightly when I would tease him and he slapped me back. Much harder. It really shook me up that I had to worry if I playfully or accidentally hit him or not, in fear that he would knock the living daylights out of me. Luckily, he grew out of that phase..... ;_;

The guy from "The Shining" is Jack Nicolson, one of Eric's favorite actors. He flipped on me once because I didn't notice Jack Nicolson's oddly shaped eyebrows. It would be funny, if it wasn't true.....

Everything I hate about myself, yet what I need to be. I need to be more assertive and stand up for myself more. However, I shouldn't put people down nor curse like that. Misery's hair is subject to change in every comic because I don't have an official hair style yet.....
