well.
I'm a girl.
but I think really gay men are HOT!
like, im pretty sexually attracted to gay men. The really big flamers (sorry if you find that offensive, its the best word i can use to describe them, i mean it in a loving way) , I just LOVE them. and it KILLS!
I like straight men too. But something about really gay men is sooo attractive. If I ever met a straight man who acted like that, I'd be so turned off. But something about men in drag, or really big flamers, is so sexy.
Am I the only one who finds it sexy? Especially men on men >.<;

Not that weird. You hear women say all the time, "All the good ones are taken - or gay."
I am attracted to some of my gay friends, but it's mostly because they take care of themselves hygenically, and they're not all macho and egotistical, and they tend to be more willing to deal with their own and others' emotions... attractive traits in ANY guy.

I have a friend who is in love with her gay friend, and before him has likes 7 other gay guys not knowing they were gay at the time (most of the time) So i'd definetly say it's not uncommon. And agreed with the person above, I'm definetly attracted to gay men because the are better taken care of and generally more careing.

I think a lot of girls feel that way (I do!) I read somewhere that women are often attracted to yaoi/slash fics because it eliminates the woman- meaning that there's nothing to make us feel jealous or compare ourselves to the porn-slut.

I think the thing is though if we stopped saying that only gay men took care of themselves maybe the rest of them could do it too without worrying about being gay.

I have several gay friends, and you know what? I love them all. A lot of girls are attracted to gay men because they're usually more sensitive, stylish, caring, whatever.
It's also natural in our generation to want what we cannot have. Maybe that's where the sexual attraction comes in. Your gay friend treats you differently than other guys because he doesn't see you as a sex-vessel. He sees you as a friend.

It's a comman thing with my girl friends, they all love the gaymen, which means they only like me 50%. But the reason is probably cause the gay man cleans up more, grooms himself alot more, and actually cares what other people think about his look and not his sexuality, most of the time.
Im not a girl and think gay men are hot. But im bi, so you wont hear many straight men saying they think gay guys are hot.

Only thing I have to say is I hate the generalizing in this thread. Not all straight guys are egotistical, a lot of us do care about how you're feeling although with the recent rise in people whining about how someone considered them "just friends", it makes us not want to get close to anyone and next thing you know, you think we don't care.
Sorry, my little rant about it. Oh and about the thread, yes it's very common.
