Battlefield after holographic battlefield fills this cybernetic stadium. The air is filled with the sounds of loss, victory, and (most importantly) battle. Each terminal is up and ready to go, almost as if anticipating the climatic clashes that will soon enuse on their state-of-the-art processors. Every flickering hologram silently asks the same question that burns at the heart of every fighting spirit:
ARE YOU UP TO THE CHALLENGE?
ARE YOU UP TO THE CHALLENGE?
As you step up to terminal, a soft, feminine voice greets you.
"Welcome to the Battle Dome," it says. "This arena is a safe, secure setting where you can battle with anyone you want. Please do not battle mercilessly, but do realize that there are safety protocols in place to prevent Navi deletion. There are just a few rules and regulations that every NetBattler must follow."
The computer pulls up a list of rules and reads them off in the same calm voice.
Rules and Regulations:
For the most part, just follow the guild rules and the Gaia ToS and you should be fine. There are a couple of additional rules, though.
1.) ALL BATTLES SHALL BE CONDUCTED IN SEPARATE THREADS. This sticky should be used for making challenges only. In order to reduce confusion and considerable headaches, please create a thread for your battle that includes the names of the combatants (i.e.: "FullMetal.EXE vs. Chrome.EXE", or something similar to that using Navi names, operator names, or usernames). Oh, and to be fair, the first thing each player should do in this new thread is post their Navi's info. This should help to reduce the chances of godmodding because this way your opponent doesn't have to exit the arena and check the signup sheet to see if your Navi really does have that attack.

2.) NO GODMODDING! Please try to confine yourselves to the (admitedly questionable) reality of anime roleplaying. This means no miraculously dodging everything thrown at you or acting like your character can withstand or simply shrug off every attack thrown at them. How do you know if it's godmodding? Well, if you ask yourself "Is this godmodding" and your answer is "I don't really know", it probably is. If you just want to check and be sure, you can always PM me, and I'm sure that Tiayoh and the rest of the crew would be happy to help, as well.
3.) NAVI ATTACKS ONLY! Since there is currently no BattleChip system in place, all attacks are confined to what your Navi can do naturally. Using a chip you don't have is GODMODDING!

4.) And, of course, BE KIND AND COURTEOUS TO YOUR OPPONENT(S). No one likes a sore loser or a bad winner. Unless it is part of your character's personality, please don't be either. And if your character is like that, say something out of character ((using something like this double parenthesis to mark it out)) that lets the other person know that you're not really being a pain in the neck.
