The grand castle, Kyoko castle looks rundown and beaten from the outside. Old wooden panes cover the windows of the castle leaving only the imagination to wonder what lies inside. for those that wish to try to enter its gates are warned, for an ancient creature is rumored to roam the halls at night.

A smile lit the face of the woman as she stood outside the castle.
"Dark and dreary. Just what I was looking for," she muttered sarcastically. She lowered her gaze, looking at her attire, making sure that she wasn't over dressed. Her clothes kept her warm, and she liked that feeling.
Kethlith raised her head when her tresses blew around her. They touched the backs of her knees, and she had been meaning to have them cut soon. She would just have to find some scissors. The long style had quite outgrown itself. A crooked grin touched her lips as she mentally laughed over the horrible pun. She narrowed her eyes, the silver in them showing clearly as she waited for a moment, unsure of what her welcome might include.
The vampiress had scented another in these lands, and it had led her here, so she only hoped that she wasn't just on a wild goose chase.

The gate would seem solid at first glance but one of the door's hinges had rotted away leaving it just barley open. It would look like a person of small stature could slip through it easily.

Keth noticed the gate with her improved eyesight and took a few steps forward. The horse she had ridden here nickered softly and she walked back to it. The gelding seemed as if he wanted to leave as he was prancing in place, and the whites of his eyes showed. She took off his bridle and saddle then patted his shoulder as he calmed.
"You're free," she whispered softly to him. She smiled as he turned and galloped away.
Kethlith returned her attention to the gate. The saddle and bridle weren't too much weight, and she wanted to keep them. After all, she planned on getting more horses if she could. She eyed the grounds and raised a brow. Where they would be located was obviously going to be debated heatedly. The vampiress balanced the saddle upon her hip, holding it securely with her right hand. In her left hand, she held the bridle and the reins so they didn't trail upon the ground.
The woman noticed that the gate wasn't wide enough to accomidate the saddle if it stayed on her hips. She shifted it and moved it around the gate, but the metal caught the saddle horn. She groaned and then leaned her weight against the gate and shoved. When it creaked father, it was just wide enough for her to get through.
"I made it," she questioned. She was slightly confused that it had worked. After all, the gate appeared much more sturdy. She then stood inside the gate, the saddle once again resting on her hip.

Before her rose a great double door, which looks to have been recently opened. Keth got the sudden feeling that she had been watched and was most likely still being watched. These doors looked old but seemed to have been better taken care of then the outer gate. The moonlight showed little of the interior making this place look eerie even for a vampire.

Keth's brow raised. She knew she needed to go inside, but part of her was worried about how that would go over. Suddenly, she shrugged and walked up to the huge doors. She opened it and walked inside.
Keth noticed it was quite dark in here, and she wondered what it would look like once the light was on. She shifted uncomfortably in the dark. Her eyesight wasn't the best in the dark, but it was better than a human's. She narrowed her eyes, attempting to figure out where to go next.

A small gleam of light could be seen off in the back of the castle. The light flickered unsteadly adding to the eeriness of the place by the door. The light seemed to soften the interior giving it some warmth to it. They must have been light recently from the looks of things.

Kethlith shuddered slightly, the old feeling of flight flooding her system like a poisonous adrenaline. She shook her head. She couldn't afford to run, after all, she needed protection. Keth knew she couldn't provide all of her own.
"Hello," she called out. She could have sworn she heard an echo. She took a few steps forward, looking at the almost quaintly decorated room. She widened her eyes as she saw the bookcases stacked up against the walls. A fireplace appeared to have just been extinguished, so she was even more curious about this place.

"Welcome" Came a dark voice from behind. (That would be right where you just came from.) "It isn't often that I get company. Tends to happen when one kills all the thieves that try to steal from me." A short man with short red hair and red eyes said. "So what do I owe the honor of your visit ma'am." He gently took your hand and kissed the back of it bowing slightly.

I imagine not. She thought to herself when he mentioned not having much company.
"I'm not entirely sure. I just had a feeling like I needed to come here," she said softly, her voice quivering slightly. She didn't know how old she was, but she could tell auras easily. This vampire had a very strong amount of power around him, and part of her wanted to lie and keep her secrets, the other half wouldn't let her.

"Well feel free to stay for as long as you want, fellow vampires are always welcome here. Rooms are this way, oh and it was quite kind of you to let that horse go." Nathaniel proceeded to lead the way towards the guest rooms. "I am Nathaniel by the way. Who might you be?" He mentioned as he moved away.

"My name's Kethlith," she answered quickly as she followed him. She was somewhat shocked to find another vampire who at least thought about animals. She wanted to gush about her wants for the horses, but she quickly shushed her mental self.

"By the way Kethlith, I have one rule and one rule only, listen to what I say for as long as you stay here. You will realize why soon." He flashed a friendly smile, trying to ease her some, but it may not have helped with the fangs and all.
Upon reaching the desired room Nathaniel opened the creaky door and entered. When he was out of the way, it revealed a large glorious bed fit for a queen, with cushions fluffed and the bed sheets delicatly folded into place. "I hope these will fit you. It may be old but they are still good." Nathaniel stated as he opened the closet. It was full with old dresses that were very well kept but simple in design. On the bottom of the closet was a coffin if that was what Kethlith was interested in.

Kethlith's eyes were wide as she watched Nathaniel showed her the room. She blushed slightly when he showed her the clothing. Keth did prefer the simple clothes over fancy gowns. She saw the coffin, but she shook her head. She preferred sleeping in a bed when it was available.
"I promise to listen to you," she said softly. Keth suddenly brightened.
"Are we allowed to have pets," she asked curiously.

"I would think it would be fine. As long as they aren't dead, messy and you clean up after them." Nathaniel was wondering just what she had in mind. He assumed it would be a new horse that she wanted and there was room for them in the stalls outside on the back of this old castle, but as he has learned over the many years that assumptions just lead to more misery then its worth.
As Kethlith entered the room she noticed outside of the window a single gravestone, in plain view of the window. It was a massive headpiece with a huge stone cross and flowers all around it. That one place seamed to have been taken care of with much love and care for an untold amount of time. (I'll see about drawing some of this, well maybe. If i find the time that is sweatdrop )
