The sun had set enough to catch below the shade, the tree doing little to modify for the decent. Below, the one covered lioness moaned softly and turned, trying to elude the light as well as keep herself asleep. However, no sort of turning helped as the burning of the heat made way into her pelt, and she was forced to open her eyes and adapt to the evening glow.
Palesa's brown eyes just blinked softly as she rose, a yawn moving from her maw while she searched her surroundings. After a long moment, she landed back on her origional gaze and huffed soundly. Kikore was gone, and she knew he was probably up to no good. Sniffing the air at that, she easily caugth his scent and moved towards the watering hole, finding herself glad that he hadn't gone the other way. Odds were, she thought softly, he was just out to get a drink and relax from the heat.
However those thoughts flew out the window as she pushed through the grasses and met the gaze of her son, and the form that slumbered next to him.

A few hours later, Kilango found herself snoozing peacefully beside Kikore, pretty much clinging to him in her sleep now. Of course, she felt a strange feeling and then woke up on instant. Blinking slowly, she peered up to see a green figure towering over her. Ah, there was the one she was looking for! Smiling more, she let a yawn escape her maw as she began to get up from her comfortable position beside the little male.
"Ah, Palesa, its nice to see you again. ... didn't I tell you that our paths would reunite again someday?" She stood up, and then left the warm side of Kikore and padded towards the lioness. Her glaring red eyes were always the same, staring up into the female's brown eyes. "I have something important to ask of you. I've ... been following you and your son for a few weeks now, and something has been troubling me recently. That is why I finally revealed myself to you. I was going to wait a little bit longer, but ... Kikore discovered me faster than I had originally planned."
She looked away, back at Kikore'ruia. She admired him.

She appeared flabergasted at first, her eyes wide and laced with confusion. However, as soon as Kilango stood up, a mask of indifference met the younger female while Palesa tried to think things over, just as her son had done a few hours prior.
"We are taking you home." Palesa said at last, her voice surprisingly deep and commanding as she looked a bit disappointed at how Kilango handled the situation. Otherwise, no words left her maw, and instead her brown eyes gazed steadily at the awakening male, before he caught her gaze and meekly lowered his ears.

The glare in the juvenile's eyes never seemed to escape her. She stared at Palesa, somewhat mad by what she said. Shocked by her words, her peaceful nature instantly morphed into madness. A growl vibrated in her maw.
"I've come this far, Palesa. ... ... I'm not going back. Nothing will stop me." She backed up, and looked at Kikore. She looked back and forth between the two, confused on what to do now.
"... ... why are you doing this to me?! ... " Her voice was different, and much deeper than hours previous. Her pupils were now dialated, with hate and rage. Palesa had upset the peaceful, perfect balance within her soul. Her alter-ego was long gone, now. The God dormant within her had resurfaced itself for now. Only a few things would be able to stop her now.

Kikore moved to stand slowly, his ears still bowed as his eyes drifted from his mother's gaze. It wasn't the idea of Kilango that caused him to become meek, it was more the flash of disappointment he saw in his mother's eyes, obviously with the fact he disobayed her and wandered off. Letting out a sigh that seemed to seep from his bones and padded silently past Kilango, avoding her glare.
When he met his mother, he turned and stared at the currently ranting female, ears still lowered while his eyes contrasted with their doe-like gaze. He was confused and suddenly very afraid, or possibly tentative. He found his trust in the other leaving as she continued to growl and hiss.
Palesa, on the other hand, seemed hardly phased, and her own repremending glare settled on the female, "This behavior is exactly why I refuse to take you on my journey. It is Kikore who is mature enough to travel, but you hardly hold the sense to come along. Now we are forced to move back to the lands...and against the winds."
Her soft voice seemed to raise a bit defining fury, and already Palesa found her wit's end with the female before her. She would never lash out, but hopefully Kilango would take the hint, sit down, and shut up. The female wondered how much berating it would take to get it in Kilango's mind that it was not right for her to leave the lands that were her home. She was a pridelander, and not a wanderer, as she lacked the blood that flowed through both Kikore and Palesa's veins.

Kilango burst into a roll of mad laughter. After a few seconds, she paused and then continued to stare at the lioness.
"Is that your excuse for not choosing to bring me along? ... ... you ... think i'm immature?" Her eyes wandered once more, as tears came to her eyes. She looked down, her ears lowered. "... ... i'm ... ... sorry." She darted over to Palesa's side and burst into tears, afraid of the situation.
For some reason, the evil was weaved away, like a vanishing cloud of smoke. It disappeared, for now. The comments Palesa said freightened her other 'side', and made her true personality reappear.
"I ... didn't mean ... to. I ... really didn't." She clung to the lioness' leg, never letting go. "... Please don't make me go home. ... I came all this way ... I can't go home. ... My mom ... ... my ... family." She fell silent, and closed her tear-covered eyes.

Snorting again at her laughter, Kikore looked as if she had grown another head, his fear now painfully apparent in his wide eyes. However, when she suddenly started to cry, he had to force himself against the urge to go and console her. All he could do was remind himself she was a dangerous animal, and that was enough to put him stiff in his place.
On the otherhand, Palesa still showed no sign of amusement in the other's tatics. However, as Kilango moved to her side, she continued her effort to get the youth away, moreso so she could see the vibrant red eyes and confirm if the statements were true or false.
"Your family will be looking for you, I am sure," She finished for the blue lioness, and looked away towards the distance, "I am surprised they haven't caught up to us yet, considering you came after as soon as we left..."
