The wind of the cool summer night stirred the leaves within the trees in the yard, the branches rustling irritably and snapping out at the wind. Moss lingered on the ancient trunks of the towering elm trees casting shadows upon the lawn that all but glowed with the faint light of the moon. A lone house, decrepit and crumbling, stood alone within the forest, creaking ominously in the wind's breath. Wrapped around one of the rotting support beams of the porch was a rope, tattered and frayed from years of nature taking its toll. It was a tire swing, a young woman hunched upon it, her shoulders brushing against the black rubber of the tire. She was a small thing, barely 5'2", and young by the looks of it. Fairly pretty, her features were impassive--missing the usual scowl that was usually curving her lips into a snarl. Although hidden from the moon's light underneath the shelter of the creaking porch, her hair gleamed itself--a glorious silver color, not at all grey from age. After all, she couldn't be more than twenty-five--on the outside.

Blue eyes shifted faintly as the wind whispered softly again, and this time, the young woman scoffed. The kids were out, either at parties or sleepovers, and here she was, all alone. Oh, she certainly didn't mind it--the wyvern that stirred within her soul welcomed the solitude. Tsunake was in a thoughtful mood tonight, slender hands idly plucking the decaying bits of rubber that flaked from the tire she was seated on. Ohh, this house was a wreck, and she knew it--but damned if she'd spend millions on this old, rotting pile of wood when she could very well just buy a new one. Not like she'd do that, either. This house had too many memories for that...With a sigh that was lost in the wind, the young woman swung herself gently back and forth, her frosted gaze thoughtful as she stared up at the moon.

But sadly she was about to lose this house that she'd spent so much on and had so many memories of. Spirits from a realm she had not heard of began to tug on the threads of her reality, causing, quite suddenly, the wind to demolish the house. But more specifically, they demolished it, right on top of Tsunake.

And with her dead it was time to get to work. Pulling her from the wreckage and from that world they set to work repairing her crushed body, cleaning her up, and separating her body and soul. The body, with a new golden chain around it's neck, was sent to the ship the Samadueanna along with information on her. The captain of the ship-holding a small dark haired baby boy-sat down in the room where the body had been placed to read the information, and await Tsunake's awakening.

Meanwhile her "soul" was taken to the Tison realm of deceased gods to bond with the soul of one of them. This bonding would allow her soul-or whatever she had instead of one-to bring that of one of the gods out of the realm of the dead and into the realm of the living. When a god-spirit bonded with her a relic appeared around her neck corrodsponding with that god. When she was returned to her body the relic would house the soul of the god. And with the bonding complete they both went to their bodies-or relics-and were allowed to wake up, alive again, to meet Rouge Remika and the baby boy in her arms.

Had she known the house was going to fall? But of course. All that damnable creaking--she wasn't deaf, you know. But sadly, in her surprise, Tsunake had tangled herself in the tire--and was just a second too late in freeing herself. Then, she knew nothing, after tons of splintering wood had left her broken and quite dead. But without warning, her eyes fluttered once again and, groaning and swearing under her breath, the young woman sat up with a wince. "What the hell--" She had started to stay before catching sight of the woman and child, narrowing her eyes viciously, one hand flying to yank fiercely at the golden chain on her neck. "This don't look like any goddamn hospital I've ever seen." The silver-haired lass snarled, lips drawing back to reveal an impressive arrangement of fangs and sharp teeth. "Who the hell are you? And where am I? And what the ********--" The chain was yanked on again, "--is this?" She was quite visibly bristling, head snapping to-and-fro as she checked out her surroundings. She had died, hadn't she? Well, she certainly wasn't going to ask that--that was a stupid question, since it was also quite obvious that she was alive. Or, so she thought. Snarling under her breath, the woman rose to her feet, hands curling into fists at her sides. "Start talking." Tsunake growled.

Rouge remained very calm surprisingly, her right eyebrow just barely rising. The baby in her arms squeaked and reached his arms out for the woman. He didn’t' know what she was. She seemed strange.

"That's because it's not a hospital. It's my ship. My name is Rouge Remika and you have been chosen against everyone's will-including your own-to be a guardian of a reborn god child from a universe you probably don't give a damn about." she said right back. Though her tone was cool there was something in her eyes. A strange reddish glow as if of a fire that had started to burn within them.

Tsunake barely even spared a glance for the little boy, certainly not openly affectionate, even if she was the adopted mother of more than a few children, herself. Speaking of which...but no, her rage had fully embraced her mind, and she would think of nothing more than the situation at hand until it had subsided. "A ship," She repeated, her words a coarse hiss, "You're damn right about that--I couldn't give half a s**t about some reborn--" Her eyes narrowed at the look in the woman's eyes, and something fairly reptilian literally shifted beneath her gaze, underneath the steadily widening pupil. "A god child." Because she needed anymore little twerps tearing around. "Afraid I can't." Tsunake snarled, her body shifting into an aggressive stance. "Should have told me sooner--before you ******** smashed my house on me. What did you do? And why me?" Feisty, wasn't she? But she wasn't enraged anymore, so much as simply probing violently for answers. "And you better goddamn have a new house waiting for me whenever I get the hell out of here..."

Rouge's eyes kept that strange burning glow about them. Before they'd been a lovely bright blue. But now they matched the boy's eyes and were a lovely purple. But with that strange fire burning fiercly in them. "Firstly I didn't choose you. You were chosen by a higher power. As for how you died I havent' got a bloody clue what they did to you. I'm not in control of that. I just explain things. I don't choose anything or cause anything to happen. I am another who didn't have a choice in this matter." she hissed. "Now calm the hell down so arrangements can be made. You will have a kid in approximately two days whether you like it or not. And it would be best if you made arrangements about that. Arrangements that I am here to help you make."

Oh, so she thought she could bite back, did she? Tsunake snorted, tossing her head irritatedly before fixing narrowed eyes on the woman once more. "You're doing a damn pathetic job as it is--I'd watch your mouth." She offered coolly, her eyes flickering up to the ceiling or whatever the hell was up there before staring pointedly at Rouge again. "Two days?" The woman repeated, a snarl creeping back into her tone. "Fine. Talk." Her eyes were narrowed, and arms folded lightly across her chest, pointed nails drumming against her arms. "This won't ******** up my other kids, will it?" Tsunake questioned sharply, certainly not impressed with this woman, nor her ship. Or this pretty little trinket that continued to keep up its stranglehold around her neck. "What's this?" She gave it a tug for emphasis, tossing silver hair out of her eyes as she impatiently waited for an answer that would satisfy her.

A fireball shot up from around Tsunake's feet. The baby quite suddenly was on the floor and the woman was standing at her full 7 foot plus height glaring pointedly back down at Tsu. There was somethign Rouge couldn't quite control in power now. Diyaka watched and didn't understand. His mommy was never angry. So this was bizarre for her. "No missy. I'd say you should watch yours. You are on my ship and unless you shut up you won't have a hand making sure you and your family plus one more have funding and a place to live. I have to take up the slack to help pay for all of these kids and I'll be damned if I have to take this bullshit from a piece of s**t like you. THAT is a relic. As for what deity it's for I may just not tell you unless you shut the flying ******** up and chill out. I did not come here to be sassed for a something out of my hands. Be glad you have a warning in this situation and weren't just sent directly home to randomly recieve another child that would eventually grow into an empowered god." Several more fireballs were shooting up but they puffed to smoke before doing more then heating Tsunake's knees. As if the user didnt' have enough rage to make them do more. Though Rouge did seem to almost be breathing steam now.

Instinctively, the fireball was stomped out, and Tsunake snarled a warning. The child on the floor was noted, though she spared him nothing more than a sharp look. Didn't want to stomp him by mistake. Tilting her head up to glare at the woman, the reincarnate gritted her teeth furiously, hands dropping by her sides so they could curl into fists again. "You think I need your goddamn help?" She spat, her voice dropping a few octaves until the ship floor was literally vibrated with the deep, bass note from her quickly thickening chest. "******** off. I've been taking care of my family for years--I don't need your ******** help to care for them now. And you want ******** respect? Then you better ******** earn it--I don't care who the hell you are, or if this really is your ship--I'm not kissing any a**." Now it was Tsunake who was beginning to loom over the already impossibly tall Rogue, thick, black scales running up her legs, blocking the heat from the fireballs. "How about you calm the ******** down? Your little fire show isn't impressing anyone--you're just wasting goddamn time." Tsunake snarled thickly, doing her best to keep her own anger in check.

Tan Pan Murica and Charlene Dartsmoore, two of Rouge's crew, had been watching for outside. The assassin created a slight cover so that the woman could get the child and then get out. After that the Golden Dart got to smirk. "Have fun you two." she called before stepping out and locking the door.

Rouge's teeth pointed somewhat as she snarled up at the demon, her softly drooping ears starting to seem more pointed. Reaching up instinctively she grabbed Tsunake around the neck, nails digging in as her eyes seemed to lose their pupils. "Listen you pain in the a**...." she hissed, fire now actually seeming to spurt from her mouth. "I don't want yoru respect. The respect of a creature as low as you isn't worth my time." she snarled. Most of the time she'd have grabbed her guns and fired by now. But there was a nature not her own gripping her mind and ensnaring her senses. She wanted to rip hearts out. She wanted...to destroy this disgusting creature before her.

Ahh, but by this point, Tsunake's neck had thickened and grown, now far too wide for any normal person's hand to wrap around. The chain cut fiercely into that thick, armored skin, but Tsunake barely noticed. Her own arm rose, now looking like an enormous wing, smacking Rouge away. "Don't touch me, you insolent maggot." She hissed softly, talons curling and ripping at the floor, her face crunching outward into a snout, burning blue eyes staring with disdain. "Look at yourself." The nearly formed wyvern ground razor sharp teeth together as a pair of ram-like horns sprouted out of the back of its skull, a thick mane of silver gleaming against the dark black body of the reptilian. "You act so high and mighty, telling me you won't take sass--but you don't want my respect? What bullshit hypocrisy." Acid oozed from the monster's jaws, but she didn't spit. There was no point, not for this fool. "Let me go home." The wyvern rumbled deeply, hunched for it was too tall, wings spread slightly, a scythe-tipped tail lashing furiously from behind. "I want nothing more to do with you and you ******** ship. Let me go back." Her children were still out--and squabbling with some half-assed freak was not her current priority.

"There is a fine line between asking someone to respect me and not wanting them to piss and yell at me about s**t I can't control." Rouge hissed. "I don't care what you want and I don't have to let you do anything. I was doing my job which is to inform people of what is going on. My job is not to return people safely home. That is a choice I make. I could have you taken to anywhere I want. The ship obeys me and me alone. I don't have to make a sound to make it take you to the farthest reaches of Tison. It is my will that runs the Samadueanna and it is me that you should not cross." she said, reaching up once again.

It may be the fact that she was calling on powers she didn't understand and could not control. Or it may just be that she was too pissed off to care anymore. But Rouge Remika did something that was either very brave or really ******** stupid. She reached up, using that power she couldn't control, and ripped. What the hell did she rip? Apparently a giant section of scale if not many. Who could tell when your eyes were blinded by rage?

"Most beings know how to communicate civilly, I last checked." The wyvern hissed, eyes burning steadily. "You know no fine lines, and I honestly don't give a damn if you thought that was yelling, you stupid b***h. If you thought that was yelling, then I don't know how long your head's been lodged up your a**." And that was when the whore ripped off a chunk of her scales. The wyvern screamed, the sound vibrating throughout her thick chest, so loud that it even hurt her own ears. Screaming again, that head snapped forward, propelled by the long neck that had been so thoroughly abused. Her jaws slammed down on Rouge's torso, meaning the woman's head was literally inside the beast's mouth--and it began to shake her furiously, bones literally popping in its neck from its unbridled fury. Wings smashed into her legs, the tiny fore claws on the tips scrabbling wildly at her body, scratching, scraping--and that enormous, taloned foot lifted, slamming into the ship floor as it just missed her body. If Tsunake managed to pin the other, she'd simply rip her head up until she'd ripped the body straight in half. Of course, Rouge's arms were still free--though her shoulders were being dug into by those horribly wicked teeth..

Rouge knew the inside of a mouth pretty damn well. And she knew where she kept her guns too. Reaching into her shirt she pulled her guns out of their chest holders. Her plasma guns were better then her regular ones anyway. These never ran out of amo. With the aim of someone who hasn't got a clue where they're firing she shot, straight ahead and down into the beast's throat. Well hopefully that'd do some good. She'd either get chomped, swallowed or spit out. And if she got chomped she wouldn't have to worry about how it ended. As for if she was swallowed she'd just fire for a while till the beast did spit her out. At least that was her plan. And one can't quite formulate plans when they're stuck halfway in the mouth of a monster. Though she did wrinkle her nose. "You're breath is worse then Steve's gas after he's had 3 bean salad!" she shouted. The beast would hear her though she'd be muffled.

The blast of plasma had the monster retch loudly--acid spilling from its bowels to quite literally coat the poor woman. But it had swallowed fouler stuff than a gunshot before, and, though its insides seethed uncomfortably, it would live. The insult quite literally made the wyvern sneer--whipping its head sharply so Rouge would go flying. Acid was spat violently after her, and the beast roared, its poisonous tail lashing from side to side. Quite obviously, the wyvern could not form human speech so easily, nor did it desire to do so now.

The acid soaked through Rouge's trenchcoat. "Blech. Throw up on me why don't you. And I'm the uncivilized one." she rolled her eyes and pulled her guns again, firing once more, this time at the exposed part of neck. She was regaining her senses but not losing her rage. Hm. Did that mean she was controlling stuff? Who gave a damn. Stupid thing still threw her up and stunk. She fired a few more times, experience with a gun much better then that with a fireball.

"A pig in human clothing," The wyvern hissed, easily angling her large, wedge-shaped head so the beams struck her horns instead. They gleamed with the energy and, with one, violent jerk of her neck, Tsunake shot the attack straight back at the woman. Shaking herself, the demoness shifted, sprawling her wings out so she was positioned much like a bat, her head swaying hypnotically back and forth, patient as she waited for Rouge to stray back in range, or simply get herself cornered. Rage had slipped away to simple pleasure of the fight that, for now, seemed one-sided.

The bullets being pushed back caused Rouge to have to jump-though they did graze her boots before going through the wall. She was now in a rather odd position. Her knees were bent so that her legs could hold her up on the ceiling. The only thing to do now-the dumbass thought-was to spring. And spring she did, managing to jump and grab ahold of the wyvern's neck. It was a pretty hard landing and she had a feeling it would be a pretty damn hard sit. But she was luckily not a guy and hard headed so she'd live. Though she may be in severe pain afterwards. She was champion of the mechanical bull on Metriyika. Maybe she'd be able to use some of that skill to help her live through the living wyvern.

The monster was definitely not amused with this little ploy. Hissing furiously, the wyvern thrashed, rippling its body and effectively slamming itself into the ceilings, the walls, using both its wings and the walls to try and scrape off the pesky woman. And if that didn't work? The wyvern growled and suddenly hunched itself over--definitely threatening to go into a roll and crush Rouge if she was stupid enough to stay on. And if she tried to climb over it? Then she'd have those nasty talons to deal with, for sure...

Rouge was getting into this. Sure the mechanical bull didn't thrash like that but she was getting better at it. Maybe the jolts to her head were doing her good. Slowly she inched back so that the wyvern couldn't use her claws should she suddenly realize that her neck was in reach of them. The woman clung to her back, laying between the wings. She was partially on her knees though, ready to spring up again should the dragon decide to roll.

Those wings flexed and flapped--but couldn't bend over on themselves to properly crush the worm. They could make it quite drafty, however--a miniature tornado, just for Rouge! How thoughtful. The wyvern let out a frustrated sound that was a mixture of a hissing scream before, carefully tucking her wings in at her sides so they wouldn't be crushed, she slammed into the ground hard, flipping deftly onto her back, tail lashing as she did indeed roll. The room was far too small for her, so it was difficult, but her weight was more than enough to crush Rouge.

Rouge jumped as she felt the body begin to move. Steve and Karyn used to do this thing where they stood on giant logs and rolled down the river on them, trying to stay on top. Rouge couldn't swim so she'd never tried. But now was a great time to learn. They also did a lot of dancing that she saw so she'd have to try some of that now.

It took a bit of a jumping but she started getting the hang of stayign on top of the wyvern. Every now and then she had to do jumps back and forth to stay between the range of her claws and wings. Demon rolling...did that count the same way? "That's gotta hurt having your horns sticking into the floor." she said, as she jumped and moved her legs. All they needed was a techno beat and this would be fricken fun.

Tsunake was...amused? Well, it was hard to be amused with it felt like a bug was scuttling up and down one's body, but...Well, she wasn't sure. She certainly wasn't maddened with rage anymore, but... "Horns are curved for a reason." The wyvern rasped--indeed, like a ram, her horns curled so only the blunt tops would scrape against the floor slightly, though she kept her head lifted either way. Powerful hind legs kicked out in an attempt to rake the woman, but they couldn't reach far enough. Hence why wyverns had such a useful tail. Lightning fast, the scythe-tip slashed out at Rogue, merely intending to cut--not hamstring her or decapitate her like she would have intended to do earlier.

Rouge got the edge of her calves cut and it slightly hurt but that meant one thing. She had to move faster. The woman had started to do a jig-a dance she'd learned from guild wars. "How many kids ya got anyway?" Rouge said, now curious since her brain was working properly. "And we'll be nearing your house any time now. You mentioned something about it though. Did they use that in your death or something?" the woman asked. Conversation was always nice when you were calmed down. Her eyes seemed to have turned blue again and she semed to be a much more pleasant person when she wasn't pissed.

Oh, what? They were trying to kill each other anymore? The mention of home was enough to satisfy the wyvern--Rouge would only be whipped if she was too slow now. Tsunake would be willing to play this game a little longer. Wait, was that stupid lady dancing on top of her? Snorting amusedly, the wyvern clumsily reversed the way she was rolling to see if she could catch the other by surprise. This was so stupid. But. Whatever, it was amusing, sort of. "Three." The beast rumbled slightly, then hissed with annoyance." Basssstards had the houssse fall on me...Kidssss weren't in though, sssso it'ssss not sssso bad..." After the little scuffle, the demoness seemed quite easy to get along with, content and pleased to have gotten her frustration out without actually having to kill anyone.

Rouge was luckily midjump at the time so it caused her to misstep a little bit and not fall off completely. "Nice one." she said, commenting on the roll reversal. "Does that mean you guys would need somewhere else to live for the time being? They usually don't wreck places. They do it by convienience. They had me shoot myself during target practice. How an uzi can fire out it's back end I don't want to know." Rouge cracked up at that. "but if you guys need a place to stay you can chill on the ship till you manage to find somewhere else to live. It's really really odd that they'd wreck a house." she said, contemplating. And it's very very funny to see someone contemplating while they're donig a jig. Why I haven't got a clue but it is.

Ahh, close, but no cigar. The wyvern made a modest sound at the comment, bulbous eyes sliding slightly to track the woman as she spoke. A snort, and the wyvern managed to rasp between her teeth, "Very carefully, I sssssuppose." The offer made her consider, weighing both her pride, and her kids. And unfortunately, the brats came first. "It wassss a piece of ssssshit, that houssse..." Tsunake made an angry spitting sound, acid threatening to escape from her maw once more. "If you ssssay sssso....The kidsssss are usssually quiet, sssso they sssshouldn't bother you. We'll only sssstay a few weekssss at mossst." It'd be nice to have a place to just...well, collapse for a little while. One wing tip scratched idly at the relic that was threatening to snap around her thick neck, idly wondering what the hell it'd turn out to be in a few days. So, a contemplating person doing the jig, and a thoughtful, rolling lizard with wings. It was a match made in heaven.

"Meh. My old house was like that. Then I crashed a space ship into the roof and it got a new skylight." Rouge snickered at that. She didn't much like her adoptive family anyway. "Anyway yeah. We'll help you look for somewhere to live while you're staying here. I dunno how old your kids are so I'm not sure if they'd get along with Dia and Fee." the woman noticed the action with the relic. "And the relic is the sun symbol belonging to the goddess of summer and the day time." she said. It did seem to be a bit not Tsunake but hey it was what she got.

"About to be teenssss...." The Wyvern shook her head irritably. "Ssssmart kidsss though. They'll sssstay out of trouble, or god help them..." They were good kids though, and probably would be able to get along with mostly anyone. Sauda, her little girl, was good about that. "One'ssss not technically a kid...a crab alien...thing...Harmlessssss, if annoying...." The wyvern came to a stop to peer at the relic more closely, burning eyes seemingly impassive. "Ssssummer and day time." She repeated, attempting to roll to her feet so she could stand, and maybe even turn back to normal, if she ever got that far. Well, she'd have worse. "...Doessss that mean it'ssss going to be waaaaay too ******** happy?" Tsunake asked wearily, not sure if she'd like that so well.

"I dont' know. I think from what I remember history wise she was pretty grumpy actually. Not every deity's personality is based on their powers though some totally are. The god of fire was a flaming gay but the god of light was evil is evil as they come." she said with a laugh. "Am I allowed to get down now? I've never danced before and doing a jig on a rolling wyvern is kind of tiring. And I need to deal with this." she said, indicating her leg. It was rather comical to get the look on her face. She had nerves of steal but her legs were anotehr matter.

A grunt. "I can deal with grumpy. I ******** own the word 'grumpy'." The wyvern shook her massive head slightly then lowered herself carefully to the ground, her chest plates scraping against the ship floor. "Isss it deep?" She questioned, not certain how hard she'd struck Rouge. "Sssssorry about that." Since they hadn't technically been fighting then but...whatever. "Pretty good, not getting crussshed and all." She said wryly, massive wings beginning to tremble slightly as they slowly started to revert back to human arms.

That massive head snapped up, startled by the scream and perhaps a bit concerned. "Chrisssst, give me a heartattack." Jaws creaked as they began to shrink slowly, and the massive reptilian slowly began to become smaller and smaller. "Leasssst I didn't sssever by accident." Tsunake offered not so helpfully, her skin beginning to lighten and not looking nearly as scaly. "Ahh, that was good." She agreed lazily, frowning and rubbing at a particularly sore patch of raw skin on her neck. "Got me good." That had hurt like hell, getting those scales ripped off. "How many people are on this thing?" Tsunake questioned, genuinely curious. "How big of a ship?" She had no idea, really, having woken up in this room...The exchange from outside made her grin, shaking her head with a scoff. She could just feel the love.

"I don't know. Lera hasn't given me a ship count in like a year. I think last time it was somewhere between 500 and 1000. It's a pretty damn huge ship. And funniest part is it's bigger on the inside then the out. The rooms move around sometimes too. The Samadueanna's pretty damn cool when you're used to it." Rouge said with a smile. Another woman walked in(I probably called her blonde earlier. She's got bluish white hair) once again. Now that one got a look at her they could see that Dartsmoore was rather short with a huge bluish white pompadour. "Tsunake this is my friend and resident assassin Charlene Dartsmoore. Aka the Golden Dart or Dartie." Rouge reached over and tried to give the other a noogie.

"Yeah yeah!" the other said dashing and hiding somewhat. "Anyway we're at her house. The kids are in front of it. They don't seem to know what's going on. I sent Tan Pan down to survey the situation." Dartie obviously hated Rouge's nickname for her but at the same time loved it.

"well then, follow me. We'll pop down and get things explained to the kids, get stuff checked out, and come back up. I can show you around then." Rouge said with a grin. She was definately more amicable when she wasn't trying to fight you.

The woman lifted a brow idly, impressed. She'd never honestly been on a spaceship before, in her few hundred years of life. It was an experience that she might have enjoyed more if she hadn't...well, been killed and brought here against her will. The trinket around her neck was toyed with idly, but Tsunake no longer yanked on it, tipping her head forward politely at Dartsmoore. The news of her kids, however, made her perk up, eager to see them even if she'd say otherwise. "Mm, this'll just be some big adventure for them." The woman rolled icy eyes and shook her head, stepping lightly after Rouge. "All right. Should be interesting, right...?" Tsunake stretched her arms lightly. "So this ship...Is this where all the poor saps who get killed off have to come?" Hopefully Ithai wasn't bloody--and hopefully Sauda still had Eolian in his fishbowl...

"Yeah. They come here, I have to explain stuff, and then they get to go home. Simple deal." Rouge said with a nod. "I'm told it doesn't take long for them to become babies so it's a good thign you'll be living here and we're all prepared. Diyaka and Feejhu came very recently so we're ready to tackle the job of having new babies on here."

One hand dragged itself tiredly through those silver locks of her's--and Tsunake paused, eyes narrowing with realization. "Wait. That kid from before--he was one of these?" She gestured to the relic around her neck, looking suspicious, but willing to buy it. "I'm awful with babies." She grumbled, shaking her head. "When they can talk, it's fine, but babies?" Tsunake snorted slightly, but looked reluctantly willing to deal with it. "Fun job." Came the wry comment. "I'd be ripping heads off left and right..."

"Yes. There are two of them belonging to crew members on this ship. Myself and Tan Pan Murica are guardians. The little boy from earlier is the god of fire reborn. Luckily at this stage they have no powers and no memories. And there are people on here who love to babysit." she had a look on her face that said thank heaven for that. "He's a sweetie pie but it's very hard to run erronds on a motorcyle with him along."

Tsunake rubbed at her temple, grateful for that much at least. "Thank god. I mean, bonding and all that s**t, yeah yeah, but sometimes..." She was quickly distracted by the sight of a chocolate-skinned girl with grass green hair rushing towards her, eyes wide with concern. A fishbowl was tucked under one arm--holding what looked like some green, glowing crab-like creature, which was currently foaming happily in the water. "Mom! What happened to the house?" Behind her slunk another preteen, his thick brown mane spilling down his back, various animal furs and a strange, tunic-like top adorning his body. Like a wild animal, he eyed them warily, sticking close enough so he could hear, but distancing himself from the group. The girl caught sight of Rouge and immediately went quiet--a little shy, it seemed. "Rouge, this is Sauda, and Ithai." A nod towards the wild child in the back. "And the crab's Eolian. Gonna turn into some kid one day or something weird..." shaking her head, Tsu straightened. "Well, you saw the house, kiddos...Rouge's gonna let us stay on her ship for a while, all right? So you can thank her and not cause trouble." Ithai murmured his displeasure at being cooped up inside, especially inside something so strange...but he'd listen. Sauda had wide eyes--apparently gleeful at the very thought of being on a spaceship. "Really? We really get to stay? Oh, that's a pretty necklace, Mom...where'd you get it?" The woman sighed and shook her head. "Don't ask..."

Rouge smiled a bit and nodded her head at the kids. "And there are places we can take them to play if need be. We were planning to stop at some rather interesting places. Ecron, Aieshon, Gamacon, all sorts of places. It's really nice actually. We're going to Nurika first. GREAT View." she said with a grin. Nurika was the seasonal realm of Tison. It was home to faerie people and had different places for each season. "We'll be stopping at Boiguesse some time tommorrow." The name sounded like bogus only it was boy-geese. Weird.

The wild one, Ithai, had his curiosity flicked by the mention of so many different places. "Will we go outside?" He asked, his tone soft, yet strangely insistent. Sauda was thrilled with this, being the little sci-fi nut that she was...It was either aliens or zombies, one of the two. Tsunake watched them fondly for a moment, relieved that they seemed to be adapting. "Nurika, mm? No clue where the hell that is." She chuckled, tossing her head lightly. "I'm almost envious." She rolled her eyes. "Getting to travel to all these different stops...Different planets, right?" Sauda piped up again, "So we'll get to meet people who aren't from Earth?" She sounded positively delighted, and Tsunake shook her head wearily. Her daughter's enthusiasm knew no limits.

"Yes we will go outside. We may even stop in some other realms that are almost completely outdoors." Rouge said in answer to the boys question. Then she turned to the girl. "And yes you will. You actually already have." she said with a huge grin. "Though there are more interesting people inside. You haven't met Steve yet." she said with a grin.

They went back inside and Rouge led them to the mess hall. Sure enough sitting at one of the tables, playing scrabble, was a young man, and a girl who looked about 13. The girl had large pink pigtails on top of her head and large green eyes. She also had large pointed ears-though unlike Rouge's, they didn't droop. Strangely Rouge was the only one in the room full of people who had droopy ears. The young man's ears were also pointed but his were different. They were slightly like dog ears on the sides of his head that pointed funny to make them look more catlike. He had one large hand that had silver bladelike things for fingers and had funny spinning gears in the arm that were actaully blades. His other arm was slightly furry with claws on it. He had large spikey dirty blonde hair with a reddish hue and deeply tanned skin. He was actually pretty good looking in a wild and rugged sense, what with all the leather and gold he wore. "Guys, this is Steve the ship weapons master. And the pipsqueak is Ka Hyn Murica otherwise called Karyn Marina. She's the ship's supergenious telepath engineer."

What the hell was this place supposed to be, anyway? It looked like the center of that Battle Star Craptacula that triplets usually had to watch whenever they were over and thuroughly s**t-faced. More of a Star Wars man himself, Finesse cast a critical eye quickly over the ship before turning to the woman he'd recently met.

"So who do I gotta talk to in this place?" He was bristling, and yet he was hopeful. He wouldn't be less than polite to the half-demon who had been kind enough not to smear him on the sidewalk when he hit her with his car, however. Nothing more than cold and professional to that b***h who had deemed it necessary to kill Tsunake, if it really was true. "The captain of the ship," Redd said coolly, uncrossing her arms as she passed. "You can come with me, Grigori. I know this place enough to know where you can find her--" She was all bristled fur when a gunshot rang off behind her, clanging against the metal far overhead.

"Whoever it is can come here. I'm not here to manhunt her if I don't have to." Finesse lowered the pistol calmly, ignoring the annoyed snarl from Redd. How ******** irritating, the brunette thought to herself, eventually just waving it off.

"Whatever. If you get shot with some laser for denting the ceiling..."

The gunshot was enough to catch the brunette's attention, his eyes narrowing faintly while his lips curled back to expose his recently-filed teeth. Someone had a weapon? His shoulders hunched, Ithai silently swept from the room, casting a silent look at the green-haired girl on the bed. Sauda had been scribbling faintly on a piece of paper, not exactly concerned with yet another strange noise echoing within the belly of the massive ship. No, she was concerned for her mother, who, after growing visibly upset over something, had ordered both her and Ithai away so she could be by herself. "A stranger's come." Ithai spoke quietly, his gleaming eyes fixed down the hallway. Pale fingers twitched, and one hand unconsciously slipped to the hilt of his knife that was strapped to one thigh, caressing it idly.

Sauda frowned and swung her legs over the bed, dusting off her green pants and straightening her skirt. "A stranger?" Making her way over to Ithai, she peered down the hallway, and saw no one. The chrome floors and walls sparkled innocently, giving no sign as to who might have come. "You sure?" Ithai said nothing, his movements light as he made to slip down the ship's floor and investigate. Sauda snatched at his hand, dark fingers interlocking with his pale ones, holding firm even when he made an irritated sound and tried to shake her off. Both the handcuffs and the gloves that Ithai usually wore had been left, stowed away in some hidden place that only he knew so that they would not jingle as he began his hunt. Together, Ithai slightly ahead, they crept down the halls, with Sauda's grip tightening occasionally whenever her imagination got the better of her.

Oh, she could see them now...Two people. Without warning, Ithai straightened, irritation mingled with disgust flashing over his features when he realized that the hunt had been lost. Confusion blooming across her own face, Sauda took another hesitate step closer--and made a delighted sound of surprise. "Hey! Mister!" The green-haired girl chirped brightly, letting go of Ithai to dash over. The sight of the gun didn't make her pause, but she stared curiously at it for a moment--then glanced at the other woman as well. Oh! She had a tail! And ears! "I didn't think we'd get to see you here!" The girl folded her hands behind her back, rocking on the balls of her bare feet. Ithai hung back, silent and sulky as he looked the pair over. How did he get here? And who was this new one...? Golden eyes lingered on the fur for a moment, before Ithai looked away with apparent disinterest. He had little use for such small tidbits.

Finesse perked upon seeing the flash of green, turning his head. The voice told him it was only a kid and not possibly whatever woman had managed to pick up a whole house. And a familiar kid at that. "Sauda... Sauda!" Blinking away the darkened quality to his eyes, the man's stance seemed to change almost completely in an act that made Redd give him a moment longer of consideration. What was he, retarded? Was he really a friend of Tsunake's?

The Italian crouched slightly, enough so that he was level with her. "Hey doll, how many times I gotta tell you it's Finesse?" Ah, he felt like reaching out and hugging the child, but refrained. He'd caught sight of Ithai. "'ey, there's a fierce mug. What're you doin' hidin' back there, kid? C'mere. Ithai, Sauda, this is Miss..."

"Redd. Just Redd." The coyote told them, looking over each one. Neither were familiar, though the little girl did have a certain quality about her that reminded her of someone. Big eyes... In a way, they both reminded her of someone. Who was it... As if feeling what Ithai was thinking, those fur ears flicked back against her skull, lip curling enough that a mature canine could be flashed. She'd punt the brat across the room if he tried to attack her- she didn't care whose kid he was.

"Where's your mother?" Finesse pressed, his shoulders tensing beneath his suit despite his effort to look calm and happy.

Sauda grinned slightly, abashed, swaying back and forth as he kneeled to look at her. "A few more times, Mister." It just felt weird calling him Finesse. That's what mom called him. And kids weren't supposed to call their parents by their first name. Not like he was her dad or anything--but he sort of felt like it sometimes. Ithai bore his teeth back silently in response when the woman's ears pinned back, lightly picking his way closer when he was beckoned. Redd. Golden eyes flickered stoically to the woman's face, noting her features. Redd. Hmph. When Finesse asked his question, Ithai shifted slightly, sensing the change in mood. "Not here." His response was blunt, but soft, as it usually was, and without another word, the preteen twisted and slipped back down the hallway, apparently going back to brood in his room.

Sauda sighed slightly, murmuring something that sounded faintly like 'nice to meet you' under her breath. "Mom's here." She corrected, chewing lightly at her bottom lip. "She's back that way." One hand pointed to where Ithai had disappeared. "She's acting...weird though, Mister. She won't come talk to us." Sauda obviously had no idea what to do, or how to fix it--when she'd tried to make the door slide open automatically, like the others did, it wouldn't.

Not here. Oh, his face almost fell at that. She was really dead, then? She was-- oh, alright. ********' punk, lying to him like that. Or just not telling the whole truth- that was his boy! The dark man frowned a little at the girl's explanation, worrying once again. Pale fingers reached out, combing through the green strands in an attempt to be soothing before patting her shoulder. "Well, you go back to what you were doin', okay Princess? Miss Redd and I are gonna go talk to your mom."

Redd only grunted her ascent, staring after Ithai grumpily until he disappeared. Huh. Not waiting for Finesse, the coyote stepped around them and traveled down the hall, using her keen nose to try and hound the woman down. A lizard or something, she remembered that much, the other woman reminded her of some sort of desert snake. Finesse had to follow, not wanting to be lost down the hall. Up ahead, he could hear the metallic ringing of knuckles against steel.

"Hey b***h, you try and strangle yourself yet with that collar?" The brunette called, feeling bitter at the mention of a relic. At least now she had a kid to take care of. Not that that was really any better. The mafia member edged up beside her, tapping the door with the muzzle with his gun before slipping it back beneath his coat.

"Tsu? You in there?"

The gentle touches seemed to be enough to restore the little girl's spirits for the moment. He'd make everything better, right? He'd be able to pull the door open even if it still wouldn't open--he and the other lady. "Okay." Sauda said uncertainly, glancing at the two of them for a moment before heading back to her room. She didn't feel like drawing any more...Maybe she could pester Ithai or something. And then maybe they could see if the doors would open, finally...but somehow, Sauda doubted it.

The metallic sound echoed softly within the next room--and faintly, one could hear a shift of thick coils, a rasping, throaty hiss of unmistakable warning drifting from between rows of glistening, acid-ridden fangs. A dull scraping sound inside made the metal walls squeal with pain, and, with a rustling sound, all movement ceased yet again. Besides, of course, for the rough and ragged panting that wheezed from a pair of inhumanely large lungs...

"What the hell?" Redd mumbled, pressing an ear to the door when she imagined some sort of hissing through the door. "Huh..."

"Tsu? You alright in there?" The male called, following suit. "It's me, Finesse. And Redd. C'mon, baby, open the door. The kids are worried 'bout you. I--"

"If you don't open this door, I'm ******** busting through it! Don't hiss at me! This ******** hit me with his CAR he was so a**l about you. I know people! You don't want that kid, I know a guy that'll take it. Otherwise, suck it up! Let. Us. In!" The heel of her foot was slammed hard into the steel, pounding with each of the final words.

"Redd, don't do--"

"YOU shut the hell up! You want me to rip you in half and check for a spine, huh?" She turned to Finesse and winked slightly, settling the man only a little.

They wouldn't leave...The relic itself was drawn taut against those thick, near-impenetrable black scales, unable to break due to whatever magic had bound it, but still digging straight into the flesh. With each pounding of Redd's foot against the door came a series of flapping, like large wings beating ferociously in rage. And inside, the monster screamed a challenge, the sound vibrating against the walls, grating higher and higher until it cut off when the wyvern lunged at the door, fangs punching dents into the metal. Acid hissed from its gaping maw, sizzling and pitting the shiny floors, but the monster did not spit, not right away. No, it was hoping to drive off the intruders, that elongated neck curling back and hunching slightly, glaring eyes set deep within its thick skull, wings drawn tightly to its thick body. A mane of silver rippled down its body, quite possibly the only thing that marked it similar to its human form.

But then, the beast gave pause, seeming to consider something as it offered another wheezing hiss of threatening rage. The names were...familiar. Vague, jumbled thoughts floating through the wyvern's mind, but, snapping its jaws irritably, it chased them away. Lowering its head slightly, the monster slammed its ram-like horns into the door, causing it to squeal and whine on its hinges, bulging outward and cracking them open a little from the strain.

"Holy..." Brows arched as the creature within screeched and rammed the door. Pale blue eyes shifted to Finesse, who had understandably backed up in some sort of preparation. "You think you could take that?"

"Where's Tsunake?" The dark man demanded, looking as if it were Redd's version of a cruel joke to bring him to this particular room. "Did that thing... did it EAT her?"

Redd laughed, warily beginning to shift down the hall. If that gap got any bigger, screw this, she was gone. "Right. Because they really got some pissed-off lizard stuck behind a random door..." There was a responding cry from the metal as a single bullet buried itself within the bending steel. He wasn't shooting at it as much as he was trying to snap it out of its little trance of rage. Maybe -but doubtfully- make it consider about coming out. "Hey, calm down! We ain't here to fight."

"Good one." Redd sneered. "Piss her off some more, huh?"

"What're you on, lady? Huh?"

As the bullet slammed into the door, the monster jerked its head back--flinched. And then, the howl of outrage stretched itself past its gaping jaws, the scream sounding dry and strangled thanks to the golden chain twinkling ominously around its dark skin. Wings, not unlike a bat's, scrabbled at the door, claws seizing at the metal through the crack, trying to force the doors open. He'd shot at ...her! Fury that was not entirely the wyvern's now enabled it to scream again, scythed tail lashing furiously, ripping at the metal on the walls and ceiling. There was a squeal as the doors slid open--just so that massive snout could thrust itself in between, snapping ferociously at anything it could reach, acid spilling out of either side of its maw. With another horrendous crunch, the wyvern thrust its head forward, blunt tongue twitching and twisting...

Without warning, the violent onslaught ceased. A deep-throated growl of indecision drifted from the monster, bulbous eyes swiveling trying to see what exactly was out there. Something smelled...familiar. Familiar...Those long jaws were twisted slightly, nostrils flaring as the wyvern's tongue flickered out from between its teeth, like both tongue and nose were working to pinpoint the scent. The creature suddenly moaned, a dry, rasping sound, before it withdrew its head, taloned feet pressing against the scuffed metal as it shifted back and away from the door, wings flaring as it reared up inside of the room. And then, as though realizing for a second time who was actually out there, the wyvern nimbly twisted its thick head, jaws bumping through the door so it could get a look at the man.

A great sigh huffed its way out of the wyvern's slightly parted jaws, the burning flicker in its eyes dying away to a dull throb. "You." The creature rasped unexpectedly, its tone deep, sibilant and almost accusatory. "I know you….yet…Who are you?"

The damn thing was out! Redd edged off down the metal hallway, almost at liberty to gawk as the mafia man merely backed up to avoid the acid. When the wyvern suddenly stopped, she did, though it was likely she wasn't noticed. She wouldn't want to be. Finesse himself was nearly quivering with excitement at being so close to something that could gobble him up like a mere snack. He gripped his gun instead, able to quell the urge with that much. Then it spoke.

"You uh... you think you know me?" He asked, blinking. Unless he was s**t-faced drunk enough not to remember his own name, he didn't think he'd forget meeting a... was it a dragon or something? "I'm Finesse. Finesse Grigori. It ain't like I just go botherin' people's doors all the time but... we got told a friend was in there. Is there anyone else in there with ya? If ya don't mind me askin'..."

The pupils of the beast's enormous eyes dilated without warning, as though trying to take in every sight that they possibly could right now. A low, rasping hiss rumbled deep in the monster's chest when he spoke his name, and the wyvern tried to jerk its head back, a screech of recognition bounding off the metal walls. Wings frantically scrabbled from the inside, trying to clutch at either side of the wyvern's horned head, but were unable to fit outside. "Inside," It spat, nostrils flaring for a moment with pain, "Someone inside..." Oh yes, there was someone inside--but the wyvern had misunderstood what Finesse had meant. There was a painful ripping sound, and hunks of black scales seemed to quite literally tear themselves off the monster's body, only earning a muted, high-pitched whine of pain.

The beast thrashed for a moment, beginning to shrink in size and length, its silver mane fanning out and engulfing the humanoid form that was beginning to emerge from underneath. The missing person in question was soon huddled on the floor, sitting with her knees pulled up to her chest, her face buried into them. She was clothed, yet her skin was rubbed raw, an angry, throbbing shade of red--a result from the rapid transformations that she'd been undertaking while on the ship. Tsunake wordlessly tipped her head up to observe both of them, her eyes still bright yellow, and feral. After a moment, they flickered and faded, deepening into the normal blue of the mostly human woman. "Finesse." She named him, her words eerily soft and rasped. And Redd, too...

"Yeah. Someone maybe in the corner--" And suddenly, the beast was beginning to tear itself open from the inside, shedding scales all over. Woah. Just... Finesse moved unconsciously, his right hand making the catholic cross motion over his chest despite the fact the gun happened to be in the aforementioned hand. "Ye though I walk through tha valley of tha shadow of death..."

That thing was getting smaller. That thing was getting human. Finesse mouthed silently, before clenching his jaw shut. Stop! Rewind! Sloooooow motion. What on God's green Gaia just happened? Out of the corner of his eye, he could see Redd moving, peeking into the door. "She back yet?" WHAT? Had she known all along? And she didn't feel like TELLING him?

But Finesse was beyond anger at the moment, his attention focused on Tsunake and just how fevered she looked. Never mind the eyes. When she spoke his name, he moved, taking long strides that were almost a run towards the dented door.

"Tsu? Doll?" He implored, his cold features creasing suddenly with vibrant worry. The pistol was shoved away into the waistband of his pants and boldy, the man stepped into the disoriented room towards her. "You okay?" He was next to her now, sinking into a crouch. Behaving himself for now, he kept his hands to himself for a moment, looking her over.

Not just fevered--like someone had taken sandpaper and simply rubbed a few layers of her skin away. Or as though she'd been burned...He'd moved so quickly that her eyes glazed for a moment, unable to track him right away until he'd stopped moving again, now on the floor beside her. His question was met with a disorientated stare, and cracked lips parted for a moment, frazzled silver hair clinging to anything it could reach. "...Tired." She finally said, her head lolling forward so her forehead could gently rest on her knees, drained both physically and mentally after tearing away from the wyvern's grasp. After a moment, Tsunake forced herself to look up again, a ghost of her former scowl transformed into nothing more than a partial frown, "Why're you here...?" She didn't understand, but obviously was in no mood to listen, either.

Yes, she did look a mess... but she was alive. That was what mattered first and foremost. First a house getting dropped on her like a bad Wizard of Oz spoof, then potentially being eaten by a wyvern... Yeah. He bet she was exhausted. As to the whole transforming thing... well, he'd get it out of her later. Right now, it seemed like a touchy subject. "I... I heard you was dead. Some lady I hit with my car said you might be here..." Because if Tsunake wasn't disoriented before... "What's that?" Boldly, he reached out, touching the sun-shaped amulet about her neck.

"Was dead." She corrected firmly, her tongue feeling thick and not wanting to let her speak properly. Wait...he'd hit someone with his car? Bloodshot eyes lifted themselves to Redd for a moment, wondering if she'd been the unfortunate victim. And if that was the case, well, she was surprised that Finesse could still walk. Finesse might be able to see the markings around her neck where she'd unsuccessfully tried to rip the amulet off before, and, despite drawing back a little at his fingers, there were no attempts to break his hand. "Dead goddess." Tsunake sounded tired again, her arms coming up to curl uncertainly around his own, "Another ******** kid."

Was dead? Was dead was dead was-- she didn't look like a zombie. Even though she was here, he could imagine that his blood was beginning to heat up. "Who did it? You wanna give me the names and we can kill them a couple times, eh?" He offered, his observations flickering down to her neck. They'd smacked a collar on her, too?! Behind him, Redd felt Tsunake's gaze and idly lifted her chin, folding her arms before she leaned back against the wall. As far as she could see, the man was handling the situation. She wasn't good with that kind of stuff.

Just why did all sorts of weird s**t happen to Tsu? A dead goddess? Well, if she was dead, how could she be a baby... Of course, the concept of reincarnation fell short on him, who had been told there was no such thing and had no experience of seeing anyone like that. But what surprised him, of course, were her arms around his. For a moment, his expression was mixed, as if he were waiting for her to pop his arms out of their sockets. When it didn't happen, he leaned forward a bit so that he was shifted onto his knees, his hands carefully placing themselves on her shoulders. "...S'alright, babe. You can get through it- I'll help if you wanna.... What about your house?" It had looked pretty bad.

Despite herself, the woman felt a rueful smile tugging at her lips, dropping her head so silver hair cascaded in front of her face, hiding it from view. And she thought she was protective. Her eyes didn't flicker to Redd, but a silent wave of appreciation rippled through the demon reincarnate--she needed Finesse right now. The hands on her shoulders earned a brief wince, her skin still irritated and quite sore. Other than that, Tsunake allowed them to stay, lifting her head to peer quietly through her bangs.

"I know." She said quietly, quirking a brow at his offer to help, but was too tired to sneer right now. Or mention how often he slacked off with Ithai...but, he did come when he could, so that was all that mattered, right? "I don't know." Tsunake sounded slightly regretful, shaking her head. "Wouldda knocked it down myself...but I don't know what I'm gonna do with the kids..." One hand came to try and bat some of her frazzled locks into submission, failing miserably before it finally paused. Hesitantly, it extended to cup one side of Finesse's face, jittery, like he might pull away and it'd be left with nothing but air. "...Christ." Tsunake shook her head a little, wearily directing her gaze off to the mangled door. "...Kids are all right?" Jesus, she hoped they had Eolian with them...

Yes, he did come when it was possible. It wasn't like him to make a commitment and not actually... commit. Dirty as the jobs he was responsible for often were, his promises weren't easily broken or unfulfilled. Now, he was prone to slacking if the issue wasn't terribly serious... but that wasn't a subject to get into at the moment. "Well, you probably shouldn't be stayin' here... These're the people that, eh, killed you, right?" It took a trembling hand to the side of his face to finally realize that damn, Tsunake was pretty ill right now. Finesse gave a small swallow, but didn't move his head away, grazing the corner of his lips against her thumb before reaching up with one hand to attempt closing over his face.

"What's he got ta do with it?" He joked lamely, referring to her Christ statement. He cracked a small smile, assuring her "They're fine. Worried about their Ma, but seem just as good as ever."

Mm, well, if Finesse had been the type of man to break his promises...Tsunake wasn't one who took being lied to in stride. A growl stirred quietly in her throat at the mention of the people on the ship--but they hadn't exactly been responsible for killing her, had they? "Close enough." The hand lingered for a moment longer, then snapped itself away as the other rose, twitching a little as it tried to shake off the last remnants of contact. "Have to find somewhere else to go, though..." Her entire body was stinging, and she shifted faintly with discomfort, resisting the urge to rake at her skin with sharp nails. Blue eyes drifted faintly over Finesse's face, as though just realizing he'd been worried about her. Stupid, stupid man--she should have counted herself lucky that he'd stayed, even after seeing her less than loving side.

Something akin to a glower was offered to the dark-haired man, and she shook her head irritably, sighing as her head dropped once more. Kids were safe, then...So that was step one. All that was left was actually finding a new place to live, and moving off this ship.

Surprisingly, the hand snapping itself away was the first little sign that made him begin to feel a bit more relieved. She was beginning to go back to normal... even if that did mean she was throwing on her hard exterior again. And yes, about that 'less loving side'- they needed to talk about that sooner or later. Right now, Finesse was mulling over which hotel would be okay with allowing a bunch of animals and some psycho child with a knife in it. Then he figured, hey! "You could... Eh heh. You could come...live with me? Just till you get back on your feet and get another place. Won't charge ya a dime if you don't want." Behind him, Redd discretely shut her mouth, and looked away so she could conceal a smirk. Oh, this was amusing... But if she didn't have to make the offer of shelter herself, it was alright. Even if it did make her feel a bit queasy. Affection. Ew.

Her eyes hardened almost immediately, looking at him closely to see if he was asking to be smacked or not. "With you?" Tsunake sounded suspicious, as though knowing there was some sort of loop hole in this little deal, but didn't know what. Immediately, pride told her to refuse, having no need for the comforts of human life--but while she might not need a place to live, the kids did. Wearily, she settled, sending a harsh glare at Redd for a moment, having forgotten she was there. Great. "...Fine. What about the rest of your..." What'd they call them in the movies? "...Family?" Her eyes narrowed ruefully for a moment. She'd either A, have to meet them, or B, they'd mind her free-loading off of Finesse for a while. Hey, it wasn't like she planned on staying there for more than she had to, right?

"Well yeah, I kinda gotta live in my house too..." He replied, grinning sheepishly. Ah, had that been rude of him? He didn't think so. If he got asked his motive, he'd easily say the kids were the cause for his concern. For the most part, it was true- there was no way he'd just stand by while a child wandered the street. Tsu didn't have to live there if she didn't want, but her kids needed somewhere to go home to... Luckily, there wasn't an argument about that much. When questioned about his family, he glanced discretely towards Redd, who flicked an ear with feigned indifference. "Well, they do visit sometimes, and sometimes I can't tell 'em not to. I'll make sure to keep the noise down while you're gettin' your beauty rest." Redd coughed a couple hacking noises from the back of her lungs, ignoring Tsunake's glare for the most part. Oh yes, my fellow b***h, you are so getting s**t for this later.

A rough scoff came from that--that hadn't been what she'd meant, damn it! Whatever. She caught the glance to Redd and fixed another irritable stare on the half-demon, willing her to at least keep her mouth shut for now. Just you wait, you miserable whore--say one word, and she was gonna have to choke a b***h. Ahh, wait, Redd didn't know about Finesse, did she? Tsunake held her tongue in that respect, her tone turning sweet as she responded with, "Beauty sleep wasn't what I was concerned about--it'd be the bullet holes." Damned if she was going to saunter in a place that was just gonna shoot her up because of it. With an irritated sound at her own weakness, Tsunake hauled herself unsteadily to her feet, fixing a narrowed stare on Finesse this time. "If they keep the kids up, though, don't think I won't beat the s**t out of them." It was mostly bluff, from the way her hands and shoulders remained relaxed. But, she was indeed serious about letting the kids get some sleep: Ithai got a little high-strung whenever he didn't at least get an hour or two...

Dear Diary, Journal, or whatever the ******** you are,

This sucks. No, seriously. So the house fell on me because whatever Gods got pissed off or something. So, I died. Hooray, right? Well, that's not all. Not only am I still alive, but now I've got this tacky little gold chain wrapped around my neck that WILL NOT COME OFF. It's gonna turn into a goddess. This means another little brat that I have to watch, raise, and generally deal with until it's old enough to move out. Christ, and no matter what I do, I can't get it to come off. Apparently it'll come off when it's ready to turn into some squalling baby. Me, with an infant? Please. I'll eat it.

The house is wrecked, but the kids are safe. Apparently Redd is in the same situation as me...I just...I'm ready to rip someone's face off. The captain of whatever ship this is, Rogue, says I can stay here until I find a new place for the kids and myself. She's a crazy b***h, that Rogue chick...but she's not as bad as I first though. Hmph. She took the whole being-sprayed by acid thing better than I thought. And then there was that crazy rolling...but whatever.

So. Finesse came to see me. And...He found out about the whole demon-thing. Or...Well, he doesn't really know, but he saw me change. Which means there's going to be an awkward conversation about it in the future, damn it all. He offered to let me come stay with him for a while though, until I can find a place to live...I'm thinking that might be better for the kids. That, and it'll get us out of Rogue's hair for a while...

As far as this kid goes, I don't know what to think. A reincarnated goddess? Like that'll be fun to deal with...A goddess of what? Damned if I know. This is gonna be a pain in the a** though, I know it. Whatever. I'm off to see if I can't pry this damn chain off so it'll stop cutting into my neck.
