((you may add Siri if you like :3))
Well, this relationship, if anyone would call it that, was going smoothely. Ever since Yakuti had spoken about how he always thought about her, everything has been going down hill. Now she was thinking about him. He was growing into a fine male, but she wanted more out of him. Right now he was probably training to make himself stronger just as she had instructed. But, what she was doing, what she wanted, was the sort of male that she disliked most....
With a sigh, she continued her patrol through the Graveyard nearing the boarder. The Maziko was not far from that and they had to be watched...at all times. The tawny, blue eyed female had made the duty of watching in their general direction for a moment during each of his rounds. Pathetic lions. She could tolerate other species but the Wild Dogs. As long as they are not in her way, bothering her, insulting/disrespecting her, they might live otherwise it was just tolerance.
Her mind whirled back to the male that she shared a den with once she stepped foot back onto her patrol path. Was he doing alright? Was he doing everything right? She knew he wanted to become stronger for her, but it was pointless, love. She would love him in return but she would never go beyond that point. Mating will never happen for her, never. Yakuti was gonna find out, one way or another. A scowl pastered on her face as she continued to press down the path she walked everyday, snapping bones that were in her way.

((I plan on it, cause Danso is Siri's kind of adopted Gaurdian.)) "Remind me again why we have to come out here," Pipped the small coal colored cub as he attempted to crawl over a bleached white elephant rib bone. "This is the third time this week and I still see no reason for us coming here. The grass plains are much more comfortable venture around, and the food is 10 times fresher." He looked back at the hyena who stubbornly looked back at the cub, the stare urging him to continue forging the bones that were much larger then him.
"We venture out here because its the only place that I haven't looked." Said the chocolaty Hyena, his voice smooth and slightly irritated. Danso actually had no clue why they were searching in the graveyard... Maybe he just wanted to get the little cub into some dangerous situations to open his eyes to the world, or maybe it was out of boredom. He did know though that at one point or another he had ventured here before when he was younger and had seen more like himself, and believed that if he visited back enough, after gaining insured protection, he'd see them again. It was something he hoped for, being a rouge. To find somewhere that he might fit in has been the duo's dream.
Danso's thoughts were interrupted when two sounds accosted his ears. One from the little runt hitting the ground from sliding off of the rib bone and the other of snapping bones off in the distance. He looked quickly left and right before huddling between the bones next to the cub and placing his paw on his muzzle before Siri could protest about the close proximity.
"Keep absolutely silent, Siri. Someone's coming." Danso whispered harshly, his haunches raised, ready for anything.

Voices? Her head picked up and looked around. There were too voices, a young female or male and an older male. Their voices were not too far off from where she was. A male and younger pup, who in this pack had that....There weren't many pups from what she knew, Yakuti and Mabozi were the youngest members of teh packs to her little knowledge of the pack members. Though it was her own responsibility to know the members, she never got around to actually doing it.
At first she dismissed the idea thinking it was just another hyena and a pup wandering about the pack's territory, but no one in this pack had any pups. Not to her knowledge. She glanced in the general direction of where the vocals came from. Step by step, each bringing her closer to the boarder and to the more 'clean' parts of the graveyard. Someone was trespassing onto Graveyard Pack territory and they were unfortunate that Shira was the one on guard duty in these parts.
"Who's there? Show yourself before I shall take that ability from you. Come on, out with the both of you."
She growled as she stood still, speaking out to what seemed to be nothing. She was similar to the alpha in some ways. Strong, demanding, and a female. He was quite big but just a few inches shorter than the alpha, at least she paled to no one. Well, no of importance to her much. Her tawny gold fur ripped over her muscles as she turned to leave, her azure eyes glancing around.
"It is either face me or the entire pack. You're choice."

Carefully Danso peeked from their hiding spot, curious as to the actual distance between him and the one threatening him. It was a female, he could tell that by the sound of her voice, but of what species he could not tell, for unfortunately they were upwind of her. He couldn't catch the scent.
Hesitantly he called out. "We are of no harm to you or your people. I rather avoid at all costs, any form of confrontation, for I've got a lion cub with me and without me he'd die in the wild. We both have no particular homes, the both of us being rouges, and if we have trespassed let me say ahead of time that we mean no harm in doing so." His voice was stern and almost echoed amongst the shells of what used to be great beasts. He only hoped that what he was doing was the right thing. If he had to fight though, he would give it his best.
Siri shivered against his friend, becoming frightened at the situation before them.

Instantly, she turned back and growled.
"A lion cub? A lion cub!? How dare you bring such a pathetic excuse for a living thing here!? I demand you show yourselves, harm or not, that lion should not even be here!"
She growled, now sniffing around vigorously looking for this intruder into the pack's land. She would have let them be if he had said he would leave, but a lion cub? That would make he a lion as well. That just threw her over and made her want to find him even more. Her paws pressed down with force wherever she moved, her eyes narrowed and peered at anything she thought was out of place.
"Get out here right now!"

His breath hitched. Had Danso known of the danger of bringing Siri here would have put him in, he surely wouldn't have dared, but now that he had and the other voice's demeanor so changed, he knew not what to do. To escape, yes, but how? The little runt could hardly travel over the bones even at a slow pace. If he sent him to run surely he'd get caught, or worse... Killed even.
'Enough bashing myself for not knowing.' He thought to himself. 'I've got to get him out of here and quick.' He looked around him and saw a somewhat crooked path leading out of the graveyard. The hill was steep, but if he could grab Siri carefully in his jaws and begin at a crawling pace, he might be able to get far enough to where a small sprint would get him out before the other one was upon him. He whispered to the cub and picked him up carefully in his jaws and set about crawling in a fox like manor, only peeking a few times to see where his possible opponent was.
A giant pile of bones was slightly visible in front of them in the darkness. They were almost into cover and almost out of the whole predicament when a small squeak emitted from the form dangling in his grip.
He loosened his teeth a bit, them having tightened in the adrenaline of actually getting out without getting into a scrape, and he turned his head to look where the female had been standing before, and found her not to be there.
His heart nearly jumped into his throat, trying to figure out where she had gone with such stealth, and found that his only option was to run for it. Kicking hard against the ground he shot off towards the setting suns light that caressed the edge of the graveyard.
((I'm picturing this particular part of the graveyard to be somewhat like a bowl, so its an uphill climb.))

Shira had travelled up the hill with ease as she did it many times to hunt around. That is correct, she did not hunt in the graveyard, hell what was there to hunt there but mice? She said she would provide and she did. She threw her paws onto the grasslands of the Pride Land border in hopes of catching the intruder as he tried to get away.
Not too far from where she was she could see some movement going on down below. Slowly, her body moved along the edge of the hill to where the movement was. Had he ran further into the graveyard? No, that would be too foolish as he would be running right in the pack. A pack of lion-hating hyenas at that. Maybe they are still hiding somewhere, most likely amongst the bone as there is not much else for them to hide behind. This was the Elephant Graveyard, there was only bones and dirt along side the living. Shira growled as it began to frustrate her and it just made her want to kill both of them now rather than just the cub. Who was trespassing in their lands. The guards were to turn back anyone who tried to enter the lands and to kill those who refuse and especially lions.
"Show yourself now and you could spare the cub's life. I am too busy to deal with this sort of crap, especially with my own personal stuff. Either get out here right now or I will kill."
She threatened again. With recent events with her den-mate wanting to become her mate, she had enough on her mind to kill an owl of insanity. Okay, not literally. She even had him on her mind at this moment. She was wondering if he was really training to obtain her love. He knew she was hurt from her previous crush and that was how she felt afterwards, crushed. There was no point in love....but she felt something for the poor fool.

Danso set down the lion cub, the female hyena in plain sight from where he now crouched. After having heard her call to him again he had stopped and hid as to not attract too much attention. Panting heavily he called out.
"I'd gladly leave, for now that I know lions aren't welcome I'd rather be anywhere else but here. But I need safe passage." He called, voice echoing around the bowl like shape, making it untraceable. "Promise you won't attack, me or the cub, and I'll leave without saying another word. Threaten me with objections of any sort and I'll be forced to fight. I cannot let this cub die."
"Danso, I'm scared." The small cub meekly said while shaking.
The Hyena looked down at Siri giving him a look of assurance. Returning his gaze to the horizon he waited for a response.

Her nose flared. That scent. The scent made her throw an internal fit.
"A hyena! You're a hyena with a lion cub, what respectable kind would travel with such a thing! I demand you show yourself, do so and I may allow safe passage for you. However, the cub's fate is entirely up to you. I've faced males and I have yet to lose, not to say I didn't get my fair share of wounds and pains. Show yourself, male."
She growled. The thought of a hyena, her own respectable kind was carrying around a cub! A cub for christ sakes! What sort of hyena was he? She knew he was a rogue for that was what she was told, but how could she be certain? And this lion cub, it did not matter if he was from a pride or a rogue, he was still a lion. He may be small now but he'll grow.
"The cub's fate is in your paws, male. Cross me and he is as good as dead. As much as I'd hate to say it, I have an entire pack behind me if you were to bring that thing anywhere near it."
Shira had a thing about having others doing something for another when they could do it perfectly on their own. Outnumbering an opposing force was cowardice. However, it was an empty threat. Mafa had used it upon her and she probably meant it too. She used it only to frighten the male out of hiding. She had reason, but she was easily crossed by even the smallest gestures.

Danso stepped forth from the bleached white elephant bones, the cub in his mouth. He placed the cub down on the bone that he stood upon, his peripheral vision never leaving the tawny female. He just wanted to get out of there with the cub in one piece and had he know that stepping foot on this ground would have caused this much trouble he would never have done it.
He waited patiently for some response to him revealing himself, hoping for it to be a good one.
The little cub huddled close to the Hyenas front paws shivering, not daring to look up at the female that stood about 30 feet ahead and 5 feet above them, after being released.
Danso waited for what seemed like an eternity for her to make a decision, and his heart beat increased. Once again, in no way did he want to have to fight, but if she struck it up then he would surely give it his all, but calmly he stood keeping his gaze low and away from direct contact with the females own bluish orbs. Or at least he thought they were blue. Not being able to look directly at her and with the sun setting behind her it was hard to tell the true color.

Shira growled at the sight of the little cub. Infernal, blasted creatures that don't deserve to live. She narrowed her eyes on the male from where she was. With a sharp bark, she called out to him.
"Leave the graveyard immediately. I never want to see that cub here ever again, if you so return with his scent, I will seek you out and kill the two of you. Hyena or not, no lions are welcomed here!"
She warned. Protocol required her to kill any lion that came and scare off anyone else that wasn't a lion. She just might have to enforce those rules. The scent of that lion will reek all over the graveyard and the hyenas would be in a fit. He best hope he got out of there quickly or she will have to give chase.

Danso grabbed Siri quickly by the scruff of the cubs neck and bolted, claws clacking as his paws worked nimbly upon the bones, climbing his way out. She didn't need to tell him twice about leaving. Thats what he had wanted to do since they had been caught.
He reached the edges of the bowl shaped wall and was a total of 5 feet away from the female hyena on duty. He glanced at her with his golden eyes, paused for a moment and then continued trotting off into the distance, wondering where they were going to wind up next, and whether or not they will be welcome.
After a safe distance he let Siri out of his mouth.
"Ewww, Danso. You drooled on me!" Siri cried in annoyance trying to groom himself.
"Thats the least of your worries. Common, lets go before she decides to not let us go after all." Danso turned and headed north, the little cub stumbling after, leaving the rest of himself to be groomed later.

Shira huffed and turned back to the graveyard. No one would care too much about that. Besides, she had much more stuff, much more important things to think about than some stupid lion cub. With a sigh, she continued on as if those two had never been there.
