I was not like him to to so still, for as much as he wandered, it was surprising how little the other knew him. though he had a knack for staying out of the sight of others. one he found to be very useful. he didn't dislike them. but he didn't like them either, that was all he needed to just avoid them.
settled rather stiffly under one of the large pillars of the temple, Garth stared blankly to the side. half closed red eyes watching with a gleam of uninterested at a swarm of small fly buzzing around a flower not to far from him. it was just one of those days... and oh how he loathed them.

((oh, good, I can post. x3 Not part of the guild yet.))
Wind sighed as it swept over the dunes, drawing the attention of one of two flickering ears before they moved on to other interesting things. They were one sense the little black figure relied upon heavily, and as such they were constantly in motion, collecting information.
Soft paws scraped at the ground, tested the differenced between what seemed to be stone under one, while the other rested in sand. Where had she come now? Some place uninhabited, from the lack of noise from living creatures. It was day time, as felt by the intense heat down her back.
Crimson wings fluffed gently, seeking to move air over the heated fur to cool it. Yes, daytime, and some place not sheltered either. Eyes tightly closed, Perdita silently took in her surroundings, gathering all the information she could about this new place.

it took him a moment to reolize that he was not as alone as he wanted to be. though the figure was still quite far, he could still see, what looked like a Black and red Malu in the distance... just... standing there. letting out a long sharp breath though his nose, and lifting his head up higher, face tilted down slightly. of course he had no idea who it was, or could be. nor did he get up. he would rather not attract another's attention. but on a day like this. he didn't think he really had the motivation to get up and move to a lonelier place either

The dainty female caught a sound that wasn't of nature, drawing her large ears to perk towards it. Mmm, seemed there was something living here. And considering that it wasn't moving or really doing anything, it must be waiting for something. It wasn't asleep, sleepers had deeper, even breathing.
Her soft little nose rose in the air to take in the surrounding scents, the playful wind making it hard to pick out what was close by when it insisted on brining her scents of things far away. Perdita stayed perfectly still save for the twitching of her ears and nose, not wishing to draw unfriendly attention to herself before she discovered just what was out there.

Garth's red eyes annoyance, in both annoyance and susspision. "what is she doing" he grumbled, seeing the form of the female unmoved from her previous position, by now she should have been on her way AWAY from this aria, but she just.... stood there, twitching an eyebrow he pushed himself to his feet, strolling casually on the grass, shoulders hunched and head lowered. he stopped only when he reached a small three step stares, hooves clicking on the stone as he pulled to a halt, glaring out over the desert with his lowers head, to better see this lingering female

Long ears flicked and followed the noises that came to them, blank eyes staring ahead at nothing. The something was moving...
Their gate had a strangeness to it... either it was a two legged cat and two legged horse walking together... or it was another Malu that shared the space with Perdita. A small grin pulled at her maw as she listened, waiting to see if it would do anything else. The soft fluff of her tail wiggled, brushing her flanks in an expression of growing excitement.
Perdita always felt a thrill when she met new creatures. One never knew what they would do, or even what they were like till one conversed with them.
