Welcome to Improbable RP Theater, I'm your host, Oliveman. Emergency exits are located in the front and rear of the auditorium, thank you and enjoy the movie.

This thread's for the insane, impossible, nigh improbable RPs that would never happen on the island, off the island, or anywhere on the solid earth for that matter. And some that would and would be pretty funny to watch. Why? You might ask, because OOC thinking is so much fun to just be kept to speculation.

Themes rotate when the idea gets boring, keeping the thread nice and hot.

Currently playing: Moreau... Who?

Coming soon: C.T.E

On an island where only one egg exists.

There is someone who will try to steal it.

There are people who will try to protect it.

And those who will try to study it.

Fur, labcoats, and feathers will fly.

C.T.E.

Capture The Egg.

Coming soon to a theater near you.

THE WII

Yes, the newest generation of console video gaming, quite possibly the biggest leap since the NES way back when Nintendo still made playing cards. It's innovative remote control like controller uses a player's movement to control character actions onscreen. A simple concept that has snared the fancy of millions of diehard game fans.

Guess what? The island's recreation room has one. Noone exactly knows why, but it would seem that one of the new islanders had petitioned to get a Wii for the room, saying that the Xbox "Has just gotten old man." It wasn't until the Xbox inevitably exploded into flames did the management get a Wii, complete with four remotes with nunchaku attachments, as well as all the games that were released with it on launch date, plus some that weren't. And Twilight Princess, for irony reasons, you know?

James (50%)

James walked into the rec room looking for something to do. He had planned to grab some CD's to listen to and saw something sitting by the tv. It looked like a little white box with a little holster under it with little remotes like for video games. "What the hell?" He asked before turning back to the CD's and looking for Green Day.

(Bing, 50%)

Bing crept into the room in his tan furred, long eared glory. and looked to see that the Xbox that had exploded into a marshmellow roast only a few days ago was replaced by a slick, white, box, and four TV remotes.

"What happened to the Xbox?" He asked noone in particular. He picked up one of the controllers, and sniffed it. Smelled of new plastic. This is a video game system? Geez, what the heck has the world been thinking? He looked at the joystick attached to one of the remotes and swung it around. He looked at the company brand. Nintendo.

"Eh, can't be all bad." Bing said, "Don't know what those crazy Japanese people will think up."

When Bing swung the end it his James in the head. He turned around and gave a low growl. "Watch it." He snapped. His animal instincts rising to the surface. "It might help if you turned it on and put a cd in." He felt a piced of paper as he rifled through the CD's more. He looked at it and read the cover aloud. "Nintendo Wii instruction manual. The Wii. That is retarded. That is so ******** retarded." He tossed the instructions onto the table by the tv so Bing could see them. He picked up the few CDs he had found and set them there. "Well let's at least look at this thing sence it is here."

"'The Wii' What kind of name is that?" Bing pressed the power button on the remote. Man, it even acted like a TV remote. The fox guy had some trouble with the intial setup, like knowing the time, or the date. Truth is, it could be the middle of December and they wouldn't even know it.

"Where's the games?" He asked, looking around.

James looked around and saw a black case on the floor by the system. "Must be in there." He got up and picked up the case. He opened it. "Legend of Zelda, Elebits, Excite Truck, Wii Sports, Red Steel, Tony Hawk, Rampage, Golf, and Wario Ware. Take your pick. They all sound pretty stupid to me." He set the case down and picked up one of the controlers. His claws wouldn't make this easy.

(Bress, 75%)

Bress crawled/walked into the room, his vaguely human body arched upwards in a relatively normal human posture, looking around, gathering his surroundings. He saw the two proto-gamers and took in what they were holding.

"Hello, gentlemen, nice to see you. I just finished a six hour session of hand-eye coordionation with the doctors." Reminding himself of this, he stretched, quite the display and hazard with a dozen sets of arms. "It looks like you got that system with the accelerometer controllers. I can't even look at another coordination test, regardless of appearance. I was just going to curl up with a good book."

Bress then proceeded to find a nice, large armchair, and the curled around it so that he was coiled two layers high, finally laying his back onto the seat of the chair. With one arm he grabbed a small paperback book out of a fold in his developing exoskeleton and began to thumb through the pages. Once he'd found his place, he made a pillow with a set of arms, holding the book with another, and scratched the stuble of his chin with a fifth hand. The rest were folded complacently on his torso.

"Let's put the sports in, it says that you can play with more than one player." Bing said, looking at the boxes, not noticing the newcomer.

He started the game, and went down to boxing, boxing on the TV, well, might as well see how that turns out. Bing tried to keep a tight grip on the controller, but the little pads developing on his hands weren't making it easy. He assumed that James wanted to play, so he chose 2 player. After the whole tutoral part of the game, it started.

Bing did a few practice punches and smiled, "Not bad..."

(Alan 0%, but aware)

Alan walked into the entertainment room, hoping to find it unoccupied to watch a DVD to no avail. There were no more than 3 islanders in the room--two of the furry ones were standing around some white dehumidifier, and one VERY long islander was curled up in the corner.

s**t.

He walked towards the wall of DVDs, hoping to do his business and leave uninterupted.

Bing was getting a bit too into the game. All gamers did with a game one time or another, and having a motion sensor game was no exception. He closed in for another punch, but then, the sound of plastic squeaking against the rough paw pads was heard. Apparently, when Bing went for a right hook, his remote slipped through his fingers, and scored a direct hit into the forehead the normal-looking newcomer, it richocheted off of the man's head and bounced off the coils of the freaky, many armed recentcomer, and, like all Wii remotes were destined to go, a innocent, unbroken, and very nice, glass window.

"Oh s**t." Bing said, like a child who just hit a foul ball into a neighbor's house. He looked outside the newly broken window to see that the remote was going to be taken by the nearby stream if he didn't do something.

"Great...."
PostPosted: Fri Jan 05, 2007 9:37 pm

The remote hit Alan right in between the eyes as he crossed the room, halfway between the door and the DVDs. As the remote flew off into the window, Alan fell to the floor, birdies flying in a circle around his head.

A small rip in his skin started to leak blood as he slipped into unconsiousness.

James put down the remote and looked at Bing. "Nice." He walked over to Alan and put him in a chair. He took a tissue out of his pocket onto the blood on his forehead. "Carefull next time Bing." He looked at the window "You really know how to screw up don't ja?" He leaned over the glass and grabbed the remote. His gut got slightly scratched. A few drops of his blood are left on the glass. He walked over to Bing and handed it to him. "Hold on tightly." He looked back to the TV and took a final swing with his remote winning the match. "Maybe a differant sport now."
