I like the French singers better. But you might do better picking up French better if you got the novel in french.

I'd check a college library or Ebay. I got mine from the latter.

We actually watched the 2004 version in French in my highschool French class. Christine's voice was....to die for O.o If you're actually interested in learning the language you should probably watch in English with French subtitles or in French with French subtitles. I think it's much easier to read what's being said and comprehend it than picking it all up orally. In fact I watch english movies with subtitles (habit from watching too much anime I suppose sweatdrop )

It's actually easier to learn if you hve French subtitles on. That way you can visually see the word, and hear the actors say it. After all what's the use of English subtitles if you know all of the words in english? XD

I wouldn't assume that everything's an exact translation. wink
"Aime moi, c'est toi c'est qui me fait" means "Love me, it's you who I need."

"That's all I ask of you" would be "c'est tout que je te demande."

By the way, learning another language isn't easy, so if you decided to do it on a whim, well all I have to say is good luck with that because it takes years of classes and dedication. wink

It's "C'est tout ce qu'il me faut."

I actually turn on the French version whenever MotN comes on because I don't want to hear Gerry's voice.
