Episode Recap:
After Dean tells Sam what their father told him before he died, a distraught Sam sneaks off to Indiana without him. While there, Sam runs into similar psychic named Eva who confesses to Sam that she sought him out to warn him of his impending death. Dean discovers Gordon is after Sam and races to find his brother in time to save him.

Subsonic Rounds is a type of ammunition with a muzzle velocity close to the speed of sound under many hunting conditions, or only very slightly below it. Subsonic rounds are favored for their perceived improved target accuracy, and for hunting.
A Suppressor, likely known as a silencer, is a device attached to a firearm to reduce the amount of noise and flash generated by firing the weapon. It generally takes the form of a cylindrically shaped metallic tube that is fitted onto the barrel of the firearm, and sometimes reduces the velocity of the bullet.

Sam: Kill me? What the hell is that supposed to mean?
Dean: *whispers* I donno.
Sam: I mean he musta had some kinda reason for sayin it right? I mean did he know the demons plans for me? Am I supposed to go ‘Dark Side’ or somethin? What else did he say Dean!
Dean: Nothin that’s it. I swear.
Sam: How could you not have told me this!?!
Dean: Because he was dead and he begged me not too.
Sam: Who cares?!! Take some responsibility for yourself Dean! You had no right to keep this from me!
Dean: You think I wanted this? Huh? I WISH TO GOD HE NEVER OPENED HIS MOUTH! THAT I WOULDN’T HAVE TO WALK AROUND WITH THIS SCREAMIN IN MY HEAD ALL DAY!
Sam: We just gotta figure out what the hell’s goin on then. We gotta figure out what all this means.
Dean: We do? I’ve been thinking about this, I think we should just lay low. You know? At least for a while. It’d be safer. And then that way I could make sure..
Sam: What? That I don’t turn evil? That I don’t turn into some kind of killer?
Dean: I never said that.
Sam: Jeeze your not careful you will have to waste me one day Dean.
Dean: I NEVER SAID THAT! .. Dammit Sam! This whole thing is spinnin out of control! Alright? You-you’re immune to some weirdo demon virus! And I don’t even know what the hell anymore! (Sam takes a drink of his beer) And you’re pissed at me, and I get it. And that’s fine I deserve it. But we lay low until we figure out our next move OK?
Sam: Forget it.
Dean: (pleadingly) Sam please man... (taps Sam on the arm) Hey, please. Just give me some time. Give me some time to think, I’m beggin you here please man.. please. (Sam gives in.. for now)
Sam: So uh.. how’s Jo?
Ellen: Well I don’t really know.
Sam: What do you mean?
Ellen: I haven’t seen her in weeks. She sends a post card now and again.
Sam: Well what happened?
Well.. after she worked that job with you boys, she decided she wanted to keep on huntin. I said not under my roof. And she said fine.
So I’m... probably the last person you wanna see right now.
*chuckles* Oooh.. don’t get me wrong. I WISH I could blame the hell outta you boys.. It’d be easier. Truth is.. it’s not your fault. Sam. (Sam looks up) None of it is. I want you to know that.. I forgave your daddy a long time ago.. for what happened to my Bill.. I just don’t think he ever forgave himself.
Ash: Done. And done.
Sam: That was fast.
Ash: Well.. apparently.. it’s my job.. make the monkey dance.. the keyboarding..
Ellen: Just tell us what you got Ash.
Ash: Four folks.. fit the profile. Nationwide. Born in ’83.. mother died in a nursery fire, the whole shebang.
Sam: Four? That’s it?
Ash: Sam Winchester from Lawrence Kansas. Max Miller from Saginaw Michigan. Andrew Gallagher from Guthrie Okalahoma.. and uh.. another name. Scott Carey.
Sam: What you got an address?
Ash: Kinda.. The Arbor Hills Cemetery. In Lafayette, Indiana. Plot 486.
Sam: So he’s dead?
Ash: Killed. About a month ago.
Sam: Killed how?
Ash: Stabbed. Parking lot. Feds don’t have much. No suspects.
Sam: Alright. Thank you.
Ava: Ok, I know how all this sounds and I am not insane and I’m not on drugs. Ok? I am normal. And this is way, way off the map for me.
Sam: Alright, alright.. just.. just calm down. Ok? What’s your name?
Ava: Ava.
Sam: Ava?
Ava: Ava Wilson.
Sam: Ava, I’m Sam Winchester, alright? Now. You were telling me about these dreams of yours?
Ava: Hoo.. yah.. uh… ok uh.. About a year ago I started having these, like, headaches and just.. nightmares, I guess. And I really didn’t think much of it until I had this one dream where I saw this guy get stabbed in a parking lot.
Sam: When was this?
Ava: Uh.. bout a month ago. Uh.. anyway, a couple of days later (pulls out news clipping) I found this. (reads ‘Local Man Stabbed to Death in Parking Lot’: Scott Carey’s death) I saw this guy die. Days before it happened. I don’t know why I don’t know.. it’s just some reason my dreams are.. coming true. And.. last night.. I had another one.
Sam: Ok?
Ava: About you. I saw you die.
Sam: How did you find me?
Ava: Oh.. uh.. you had motel stationary and I googled the motel and it was real and so I just thought that I should.. warn you.
Sam: Huh… I don’t believe this.
Ava: Oh.. huh.. of course you don’t. You think I’m a total nut job!
Sam: Wait no, no no I – I mean you must be one of us.
Ava: Sorry, one of.. one of who?
Sam: One of the psychics. Like me. Look Ava.. I have visions too alright? So-so.. so we’re connected.
Ava: (laughs) Hookay so.. You’re nuts. That’s great.
Sam: No ok, ok.. ok look did, did your mother happen to die in a house fire?
Ava: No! My mother lives in Palm Beach.
Sam: So you don’t fit the pattern either.
Ellen: Now, Dean, they say you can’t protect your loved ones. Well, I say screw that—what else is family for. He’s in Lafayette Indiana.
Ava: Why can’t you just leave town? Please? Before you blow up.
Sam: No, I can’t.
Ava: (huffs) God.. Why not?
Sam: Because, there’s something going on here Ava.. with you.. with me. I mean there are others like us out there. And we’re all.. a part of something. And I gotta figure out what.
Ava: Okay (slaps legs) you know what? Screw you buddy, okay, cos I'm a secretary from Peoria and I'm not part of anything, okay? D'you see this? I am getting married in eight weeks. I am supposed to be at home, addressing invitations, which I am way behind on by the way, but instead I drove out here to save your weirdo a**, but if you just wanna stay here and die, fine. Me? I'm due back on planet Earth. (starts to walk out)
Sam: Don’t you wanna know why this is happening? I mean, don’t these visions scare the hell out of you? Cause if you walk out that door right now.. you might never know the truth. (Ava turns back to Sam) I need your help.

Holy jesus! That was one awesome episode. Everything I hoped it would be and more. I love the secret, and the reemergence of Ellen and Gordon, and hell every possible thing you can say about that episode is so awesome.
Alright I have to get back to class, see yah!
PS: I'm so watching it again tonight.

Gotta disagree and say definitely worth the wait. I so love that epsiode. And I still can't get over the look on Dean's face when he touched Sam's shoulder. Man that was such a good look.
I hated that scene when Dean heard Sam being blown up! He was like crying and screaming and I was like, "DAMN YOU GORDON!" But of course I knew my Sammy wasn't that stupid.
Awesome episode....

Ainaraugwen I liked it and all but i dont think it was exactly worth the wait. i am jst curious now with what happened to Ava I'm curious about what happened to Eva as well (i think it's with an E) and about the wait, I wasn't sure, it felt like I put up too much anticipation and then when we learned about the secret it's like "what?" Other than that, I liked the episode, I liked it a lo.
