Aekepi sighed, and sauntered around the forest in blind... well... LOSTness. He didn't know where he was, and he didn't WANT to know how far away he was from home. It was hard enough with him being out this late at night. He was supposed to have been going to a relative's house for supper, but then he kind of took a wrong turn, and ended up somewhere in the vicinity of 'where the ******** am I'. In other words, once again, lost. This seemed to be a running habit with him as of late. Getting lost, that is. He swore that he was going to steal a compass from somewhere someday. Maybe then he'd not get so turned around. Forest Trees: 10. Coyote Boy: 0.

Kinnara watched at Aekepi was lost once again. He jumped from tree to tree branch. It sounded much like a large squirrel when he hit each tree. His claw left marks in the tree bark. Kinnara continued to watch. He then flickered his ears and the blinked with his crimson red eyes. His tail swished back and forth.

Aeka sighed, and leaned back against the bark of a tree, looking skyward - surprised to see a pair of eyes that were certainly not stars or the moon. He squeaked, and scurried away from the tree, looking up into the branches, heart pounding. A monster? A demon?

Kinnara jumped down from the tree with his hand in his pockets. Being a cat after all he was able to land on his feet. As he landed on the ground it started off as a squat then he fully stood up. "Hello Aeka," said Kinnara. "Have you gotten lost again?"

Aekepi waited until his heart had calmed back down to the rate that was normal for him, and looked Kinnara in the eyes.
"You scared the HELL out of me, Kin!" he hissed out, hand still to his chest.
He then laughed and walked over to pat the boy's arm.
"But it's good to see you. Yes - I'm lost. I was supposed to be going to an uncle's house... but I think I got turned around."

"Sorry about that," said Kinnara. He then tilted his head a bit. "How did you end up in the woods. The main roads back that way," he said sticking his thumb out to his left. "I should get you a map later on as an early xmas gift." He then chuckled.

Aekepi snickered, and looked up.
"Well, I've been trying to find my way by the stars. My dad said that I should try to use those, because I don't have a map. Hells, they don't MAKE a map to the place I'm going, apparently."
He shrugged, and yawned - tired now. He'd been walking for hours.

"Well you should carry a map with yourself just incase Aekepi," said Kinnara with a shrugg. He then crossed his arms. "I think your tail might be keeping you from seeing the stars since it is on fire, which in terns creates a light." Kinnara then shuffled through his right pocket and pulled out a compass. "Here we can use this. "

"... Will wonders never cease."
He laughed quietly, and looked at the compass. He'd gotten COMPLETELY turned around.
"Gyah - at this rate, it'd take forever to get back home, and I don't know where my relative's house is around here. It's starting to seriously get on MY nerves. I dunno about you."
He sighed, and looked up again.
"So much for being one with nature. Me and my stupid tail..."
